False information about delivery costs.
Unfortunately, the store paddleoutlet.co.uk provides false information about delivery costs during the checkout process. Only after the payment is completed an additional delivery fee is requested. A very disappointing experience with my first purchase from this store. The order has been cancelled, but the paid amount has not yet been refunded.

I'm sorry that you have felt the need leave a 1* review of our business.
I imagine you were attracted to our website due to the competitive pricing we offer.
You placed an order for 12x Paddles at €22 each to Latvia, we make very little profit on this product as it is designed to be sold with kayaks where possible.
As I'm sure you can imagine shipping a box of 12x kayak paddles to Latvia from the UK is rather costly and we therefore asked for an additional payment to help cover some of the cost of the courier.
I appreciate this unexpected additional may have been a shock, however on our Shipping Page we outline that it the initial shipping fee is an estimate and we may require an extra payment dependant upon delivery address and size of the parcel.
You did not wish to pay the extra fee so we cancelled your order the next morning. Unfortunately we are not responsible for how long it takes banks/payment providers to refund payments however it an take up to 5 days, this is outside our control.
I am sorry that you were unsatisfied with Paddle Outlet UK's service on this occasion but having outlined the above a do not believe it warrants a 1* review.

Quality product, best price by far and super fast delivery.
Almost a third of the price and the delivery was 3 days earlier than expected even over a bank holiday weekend. We purchased the tango 2 person kayak and when we inflated we wasn't disappointed in the slightest. Excellent value for money.
