Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience you experienced with your recent order.

We would like to clarify a few points regarding your order and delivery timeline. Your order was placed on the 27th of February at 2:10 PM, which unfortunately missed our cut-off time of 1PM for that to be the first working day which is stated on the website. As you selected our free shipping option with a delivery window of 3-5 working days, we shipped your item via FedEx on the 4th of March, which was the 3rd working day. Typically, FedEx delivers within 1-2 working days, so the expected delivery date was the 5th or 6th of March.

Regrettably, there was an unexpected delay at the FedEx UK depot in Kingsbridge, which caused your package to be dispatched from their depot on the 7th of March, and you received it on the 10th of March. We understand how frustrating this delay must have been, and we share your disappointment with the service provided by FedEx on this occasion.

As a gesture of goodwill, we offered you a refund on the delivery cost, which was the compensation provided to us by FedEx. We are sorry to hear that this was not satisfactory for you.

We strive to provide the best service possible and adhere to our stated shipping processes. We believe that the delay was an isolated incident caused by our courier, as can be seen by the 5 star reviews we receive on a regular occurrence and we hope you can understand that this does not reflect our usual standards.

We understand your concern, especially given your extensive experience in painting boats. It is indeed concerning that you experienced problems with a product that has received over 14 - 5-star reviews?

Based on our conversation and the images you provided, you stated that the paint was applied over a white anti-fouling paint, yet a dark colour is still visibly seen. This suggests that the underlying dark colour affected the coverage of the white paint.

We appreciate your willingness to work with us to find a solution rather than returning the product. To help improve the coverage, we recommend the following steps:

Ensure that the paint is thoroughly mixed. Sometimes, even with an electric drill, it may take longer to achieve a consistent mixture.

Apply two as is recommended to achieve other properties such a film thickness.

This approach can help achieve better coverage and adhesion, especially when covering a dark colour as even the anti fouling coating hadn't obliterated the underlying colour.
