Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 104 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Consumers frequently complained that the customer service team was unhelpful, unresponsive, and consistently made getting warranty repairs extremely difficult to handle properly. Many buyers experienced deeply frustrating product failures, including faulty internal components, unexpected electrical issues, strange operational noises, and premature breakdowns shortly after initial purchase. The minority of people were satisfied with the helpful customer support and dependable long-term performance of their household devices over time. Some reviewers genuinely enjoyed specific functional features, such as media editing options, alongside successful troubleshooting assistance provided by dedicated phone agents. These customers mentioned positive past interactions and enduring reliability from older models they owned.

Worst TV I've ever own

Worst TV I've ever own. The TV lags and bugs so bad it's pretty much unusable. Their customer service is useless and does not want to help. They do not want to take responsibility and direct you to a third party for repair and expect you to cover the cost. It used to be a good brand, shame they couldn't keep up. I definitely would not recommend and you'll never catch me buying Panasonic again. Stick to companies that care about their customers and actual resolve issues, not a company that don't care about taking your money and leaving you with a defective product. What a disgrace of a company and terrible products.

We had a Panasonic air conditioner…

We had a Panasonic air conditioner fitted, from day one it just switched itself off for no reason. To restart means going outside turning the power off, waiting a minute and turning it back on. We have taken temperature readings with a data logger and provided them to the supplier to prove what is happening, he has sent the data to Panasonic uk who basically are not interested, there is no reaction, no feedback, no update. Conclusion we will have to take out and throw away what should be s perfectly good air conditioner when we fit A/C to other rooms later this year. The replacement won’t be Panasonic that’s for sure. Poor quality product and non existent customer service.

Air Conditioning let down!!

Air Conditioning - After installing their systems for over 20 years I've decided to ban them for a couple of years now as the Yorkshire sales representative won't answer his phone. I know they have sold out of systems and been unprepared for the heatwave but to not even answer their phones is pretty sad.
Wont even reply to answerphone messages.
Back to Mitsubishi Electric who always answers their phones.

Panasonic and warranty are far worse to…

Panasonic and warranty are far worse to deal with, I have more pushback than all warranty issues combined I've had my entire life, even after they finally sent an engineer round to confirm the issue after months of back and forth and threats of trade and standards, the engineer confirms its 100% a warranty issue, its still a problem, the are reluctant to deal with, the product has still yet to be collected to be repaired or replaced.. will never in my life ever again get a Panasonic product even if its quarter the price of any other equivalent. Its just not worth the time and effort if it goes faulty.
What a nightmare.

Untrustworthy Rubbish

I bought a 4-in-1 combo oven NN-CD88QSBPQ in February last year for £380. It has already broken down. Terrible quality. I won’t buy anything from Panasonic again. The “support” Panasonic offered was terrible.

I love Panasonic cameras

I love Panasonic cameras, but dang I learnt their warranty extension and customer service SUCKS! Warranty is not instant and you have to do a survey... You have to wait 30 days After purchase but no longer than I blieve it is 3 months... Tricky tricky. I used the form a day early and got declined. BAD customer experience

Purchasedshaver 6 months ago it had no cleaning brush. For past 6 months I have had so many excuses why it hasn’t been replaced. Finally today they said one would be posted out to me. Suggested that in view of the delay they might consider sending two brushes. This was rejected by the company

Avoid panasonic UK - Use Amazon UK for Peace of mind

After a great deal of research for a combination microwave I narrowed it down to a Panasonic NN-CT56. I read the manual on line from a Panasonic UK website and confirmed that it had full manual control over both temp and micro power in combi mode. I engaged with Panasonic UK regarding this appliance and checked to ensure it had separate heating elements. I then ordered the item. I was shown a low quality photo to confirm what appeared to be an identical appliance NN-CT56RBBPQ. you would have to be able to read the button labels to spot any differences.
On arrival I find that this appliance does not have full manual control and is an updated version of the NN-CT56JB. How was I, or any customer, to know?
The full manual control is a dealbreaker and I requested a return in exchange for the NN-CT56JB. Of course they don't have any in stock, possibly discontinued.
Panasonic UK are however expecting me to pay for the return of an item that is materially different to the one I was expecting.
The lesson is always buy from Amazon and avoid Panasonic UK like the plague.

Panasonic microwave - only lasts 1 year!

I bought a panasonic microwave from Argos and it only lasted 1 year and 4 months (just out of 1 yr warranty). The service team offered no answer or solution to the fact that a product should only have a life of just over 1 year. I won't buy from them again.

A Panasonic SD YR2550 bread maker…

A Panasonic SD YR2550 bread maker bought Nov.2014 has recently ceased to produce either a wholemeal or a basic white loaf. All ingredients as used from purchase in date and recipes followed. Loaves do not rise. Troubleshooting does not provide an answer. The machine is an expensive disaster . I have used Panasonic bread makers for the last 20 years but this one has let down the Panasonic reputation I had for excellent loaves

Abysmal - avoid - worst customer services

Abysmal. Their customer team simply don’t care. Bought a microwave hoping dealing the firm direct would be easier if we encountered any issue. Microwave arrived and the door is faulty, not aligned. Not only is this an aesthetic issue, it’s also a health concern. I’m well within my statutory right to get a refund or replacement.

You’d think it’d be a simple case of sorting a replacement. It’s been a week of submitting the claim and radio silence. Customer service say the need the technical team to opine. Not sure on what, it’s a misaligned door that can be seen on the images provided.

Do not buy a product from these lot. Spent money on a product that doesn’t work and they refuse to do anything. Looks like the court is the only options.

Bought a Panasonic microwave from John…

Bought a Panasonic microwave from John Lewis for 537 pounds. It lasted 16 months then started sparking and the base cracked. Put in a warranty claim and Panasonic said it was my fault for cooking a baked potato. Seemingly cooking a baked potato is very bad for a Panasonic microwave and according to Panasonic you shouldn't do this. The warranty process took around 4 months of them messing around and stalling until the potato excuse came out. I would never buy anything from Panasonic again and would warn others to stay well clear.

They’ll blame you for their microwave malfunctioning!

We’ve had a Panasonic microwave for less than 2 years, still in warranty. We use it barely at all, and just to reheat the odd bit of food. It suddenly started sparking - for no reason (no metal etc). The customer service is awful. Apparently it’s our fault…for using it? Genuinely. Shocking. 100% won’t be buying from here again, tight fisted and so sneaky to avoid warranty. Ridiculous

Panasonic. Impossible to register a warrenty claim

Hi all. We have a Panasonic bread maker, which as a product is very good. However the non stick coating on the mixing blade is wearing off. The issue is trying to get Panasonic to sort this issue under warranty id mind blowingly difficult. Communicating with chat bot after chat bot is totally hopeless. I would say do not buy from Panasonic if you think that you may need to communicate with them effectively in the future or have a product failure. All I want is someone to speak to me to get a replacement part which is cheap!!!

Panasonic Official store does not comply with UK Consumer Law

I thought the Panasonic brand was trustworthy and reputable. However, my Panasonic NF-CC500SXC air fryer (Order PS76370754) started tripping my home's RCD after only 17 months of normal use due to an electrical safety fault. Despite being covered by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (durability requirements), Panasonic Customer Care (Case 260501-000149) refused a free repair/replacement. Most alarmingly, they asked me to film a video of the unit while it was actively tripping my electrics—a clear safety risk.
It's a reasonable expectation for a home appliance to last for at least 2 years, especially from a brand like Panasonic and I'm shocked that their official UK store is prepared to ignore consumer law.

My Panasonic Bread-maker is months old

My Panasonic Bread-maker is months old. It developed a squeaky noise. I contacted Panasonic customer support who arranged collection by repair centre. That was over 2 weeks ago and still not returned. Panasonic just say it has to be repaired. Not acceptable during warranty. Item should have been replaced with a new item. Now I am concerned it will fail or be a risk to my or family safety. Avoid Panasonic. Warranty is not good. Customer service is not good. My advice never buy any Panasonic product.

Never purchase anything directly from…

Never purchase anything directly from panasonic.co.uk

The have abysmally bad customer service.

I ordered a head attachment for a shaver, and 2 weeks after still didn't receive it.

DHL tracking clearly shows DHL received the parcel and never did anything further, so it's stuck with them.

I reached out to Panasonic UK official support via whatsapp.

I had to go through stupid menu to choose what help I need, with what product etc.

Then chatted with a support agent. I clearly laid out my situation, will the order number, DHL tracking number and all dates.

The support agent kept asking me to confirm my post code (even though it's part of the order and the DHL tracking). The my full personal info including the post code again. I provided all of it. There was no resolution, the agent said they are investigating.

Then it turns out if you have to message them every two minutes or they consider the chat ended and close it.

You have to message them again and again confirm the post code and other details — even though the agent said they see the chat history, but they have to confirm it's me again.

Then they said they raised it with another team, and they're investigating and will get back to me. The agent said once that team will reach out to me, I'll have to provide my post code again.

I don't know who is in charge of such processes in customer support, and who thinks it's acceptable level of service, but they should be fired on the spot.

Samsung all the way after this. At least they have a shred of compassionate and understanding. Exceptionally as this was a big purchase for our family. Highly disappointed.

My recent experience with Panasonic has been exceptionally challenging. I acquired a television in February and promptly reported a defect. Initially, I was informed that replacement parts would be dispatched, but the estimated delivery timeframe progressively extended. Consequently, I contacted them again to request an exchange, which they offered to facilitate, albeit at my own expense. This would necessitate an additional day of leave from work and the procurement of packaging for a 75-inch television. The entire process has been characterized by a series of unsatisfactory communications.
