Paro wasted our time and resources and were of no assistance. The business they recommended was unable to deliver results and failed to hold their end of the agreement which led to a refund. Stay clear of Paro and the companies they work with. Buyer beware.

Our firm has greatly benefited from our partnership with Paro. Really bad and rude customer service in the first interaction with this company. I had set up a demo with them trying to learn more about what they offer that could be of help to my business. The rep from Paro running the demo hung up on us randomly and did not follow up with the promised items. Not proper and absolutely not professional at all.

I signed up for help with accounting for my small business. After seeing the invoices for a few months that were very large for tiny amounts of work, I decided to cancel. I continued to be charged for two additional months after canceling. There is no way for me to prevent them from pulling funds from my bank account or to delete my account. Terrible customer service and an overprices product. Just call a local accountant rather than use this.

My experience on Paro was horrible!!First person they sent me would never answer the phone and completed work a day or three late all the time.The second person they sent me tried to steal $700 for three invoices!!!They lie and will bill you for more money.It’s a bait and switch.Do not use this service it’s a scam!!!!!

Very Helpful. Took a lot off my plate and reasonably priced for taxed returns. Will definitely use them again next year.

We are in the midst of opening a craft brewery and needed assistance setting up our QuickBooks COA. I heard about Paro and decided to try it out. The experience was fantastic. The Paro team helped to match us with a freelancer who has background and knowledge in the brewing industry which was very important to me. The process was quick, seamless and tailored to my needs and my timetime.

Paro does not care about you, they only care about the money they can extract from you. They hire bookkeepers as ICs and charge you double their rate (double market rate), for the assurance that they manage the bookkeepers and quality control which was a TOTAL LIE!! They do none of the management they say they do. They just schedule calls so nothing is recorded, tell you what you want to hear, promise to pay or waive fees they never waive and their way of managing the issues is ultimately just to give you another bookkeeper. They still charge you for all the hours the bookkeepers reported, regardless of whether the hours were worked or not or if the work was done properly. Also their manipulative remedy for fixing the work done improperly is by hiring another bookkeeper at double the rate, telling you you’re getting a discount by calling them a CFO. After two years, $20,000 paid and 3 bookkkeeprs later, I STILL never got my books cleaned up, my taxes filed or any of the mistakes that were made fixed. I also incurred thousands of dollars in fines and penalties for bills missed and incompleted work. I complained to all the possible authorities out there about their services. Now I am trying to warn consumers. Be warned of these scammers and poor extractive unethical practices. They act like they care about you and that they want to support small businesses, women, etc but it is all not true. Everytime something went wrong, they just tried to extract more and more money from me in even shorter and shorter periods of time! EVERY SINGLE bookkeeper they sent to me told me how horrible their practices were — they all tried to broker a deal with me outside of their contract. I feel lucky despite how much I’ve been scammed by Paro, that I have bookkeeping experience and so was able to track mistakes, fix them and catch all of the way the bookkeeper were not doing their job. I can’t imagine how many others are being scammed right now.

Paro has provided opportunities with a range of early stage companies. They have been instrumental finding prospective clients, setting up interviews and providing structure to the process of obtaining consulting clients.

I had never even considered a "fractional" executive until I REALLY needed one. I was skeptical, but our experience with Paro and our wonderful CFO, Greg, surpassed even my highest expectations. This is NOT a paid review. Greg has taken our start-up telemedicine practice to a whole new level in terms of financial discipline and ability to plan for the future. He has played a very big part in our success in 2021. I fully expect that Greg and Paro will continue to deliver in 2022.

I am a client, or potential client, PARO. I was looking for a part-time bookkeeper for my business. I went through their process and they found an out-of-state bookkeeper. And then their contract came up. The contract is incredibly one-sided and it doesn’t seem to protect anyone except PARO. It also has a one year term which is quite onerous especially if you don’t like the talent they send over to work on your books. And if something goes wrong during that one your time., Such as somebody steals your financial information, the contract says they are not responsible.They control everything including the payment method and terms. They also have binding arbitration. The contract was so long and so onerous that I declined. I don’t know why any business out there would agree to use this online platform. Buyer beware.

A lot of premisses not delivered, significant delays, and super over priced . They take money form you, you wait for six month, and than when it is time to deliver results, they say they are not the best fit for you. What was the point? Then you get a final invoice for 8k even they never ever delivered promised reports. Or you get a call with four of them, but only one talks and others just listening. Then you get a bill for $175/hrs. multiplied by four since they all were on the call even you never requested the call. This is a scam.

Paro kept my business afloat.
Everyone experienced loss with Covid. My losses happened during tax season. My service provider from Paro kept my business running. I would have surely given poor customer service during that time.
Totally recommend for long term or short term.
