Patriot Viper Venom…

Brought a kit of Patriot Viper Venom DDR5 6000 Cl30 32GB kit back in December 2025 I was very happy with my purchase both aesthetic and performance wise at only just £320 was a great deal, unfortunately a few months on 4 to be precise the RGB on one of the ram stick failed to light I did have to RMA the kit back to patriot memory the Netherlands branch thanks to frank from patriot I received a replacement in only just 5 working days. Cost me £26 to ship from the UK I didn’t have to pay any customs fees duties/vat, patriot memory covered the cost of the return all together was a pleasant experience.

Product failed within days, costly to send RMA to USA

I bought a Patriot m.2 stick that failed completely within days of use. To RMA it I had to send it to them in the USA at my cost, including having to pre-pay USA duties and taxes on this defective thing even having declared a small value ($5) as advised in their instructions, and there's no assurance having declared that small value that if it is lost I won't just lose everything.

Absolute disaster dealing with Patriot…

Absolute disaster dealing with Patriot Memory.

I bought a small SSD from Patriot’s official Amazon store in 2024 with a 2-year warranty. When the drive died, Amazon told me to contact the manufacturer directly.

After a long back-and-forth via email, my RMA was finally approved, but I had to send the drive to the Netherlands, at cost of £8. I followed all their instructions, however the parcel got stuck in customs. I contacted support several times asking them to check what was happening, as I had no way to pay the supposed tax (the declared value was only £10). Each time I received excuses instead of help.

Eventually, the parcel was returned to me and Patriot closed my RMA ticket.

Worst support experience ever — don’t bother.

Be aware that their warranty makes you jump through hoops.

Their warranty dictates that you jump through so many hoops to get service that it simply isn't worth the trouble to send modules back. I'm pretty sure that's what they rely on. I had a failed module (only 14months old) which was one of a pair and they wanted me to send the pair back which would have left my PC with no memory at all and when I queried this they stopped replying to me.

Faulty product, mendacious company, avoid.

Sent me defective RAM, then proceeded to charge me for shipping their faulty product back to them (while still under warranty). Avoid this mendacious company, or alternatively sue it until it goes bankrupt (since their awful reputation is clearly not enough to deter them from cheating their customers)

RMA to Netherlands - Never again

Hard drive failed after a year and a half. Can't even view files on another computer so all gone. Attempting to RMA but it needs sent to the Netherlands! This means 1. Expensive tracked return to the EU. 2. A complete PITA customs form where they haven't given me all the details I need so I've had to go back to them asking them to provide numbers.

This is clearly set up to discourage people from returning items for refund/repair. Once bitten, twice shy. I won't be buying Patriot again, nor will I be recommending them to anyone.

Company failed to replace a RAM kit…

Company failed to replace a RAM kit that failed in warranty twice. After that they offered me a full refund with a deadline to accept. I did, but they stayed silent until after the deadline, then came along saying they can't offer refund either and closed my ticket.

Patriot good are rubbish and doesn't come with a warranty.

You bye one of there product it may only last a 1yr or less, but it comes with a 3yr warranty.
So here's the con you contact Patriot about returning the faulty item, you then get a reply to return the Item to somewhere in the Netherlands which comes with a high delivery cost when the item brand new cost less than the delivery.
Patriot knows your not going to pay this cost and they also know they're not going to need to replace the item so this is the con.

I contacted Patriot about my faulty Item and I told them that I wanted a guarantee it the item was indeed faulty they'd reimburse me my delivery cost if I paid for the item to be returned, no reply.
I'm sure that Patriot is responsible for any cost if the item is fualty.
I have read the reviews on Amazon and there is loads of people saying the same as I'm am here the item comes with a warranty until it break then the buyer is left footing the bill or having to replace the item with new, hence the con.

Corrupt SD card and poor customer service

I would avoid the Patriot brand and go for a better and more reputable and more trusted brand for a few pounds more. The 512gb card became corrupted after a few months, I cannot write to the card, it is no longer recognised in my tablet and the card will not format, despite trying multiple ways on tablet, PC and Mac using a number of different software. Patriot want me to send it back from the UK to the Netherlands at my cost and I have advised that I cannot sent it back as it contains confidential work files. They are little to no help and insist on a return. Avoid this brand. I will never buy this brand again.

Throw customer service out the door

Throw customer service out the door, they could care less about the customers satisfaction. When you give a review of the worst customer service on Amazon, it’s just deleted. Never received product even after promise after promise. No integrity and not trustworthy. Wouldn’t even give me a response. Is that the kind of company you want to do business with? Didn’t think so.

I've had several Patriot RAMs (Viper and Viper Steel) in my PCs. All of them are crazy with motherboards with B450/B550 chipsets (Asus B450/Gigabyte B550 Gaming). All of them went back. XMP cannot be set on any board - the clock speeds drop significantly with the XMP profile and lead to timeouts. I think Patriot's hardware is just total bullshit!

Absolute Rubbish - Terrible Returns Process

Absolute rubbish. SSD failed after a few weeks of being installed.
Contacted Patriot to request RMA and was told it was my responsibility to pay for the return.
Despite purchasing this through their UK Amazon Marketplace storefront, they expect returns of their defective hardware to be posted to the Netherlands at a cost of over £10. Given the unit cost is less than £15, this is just not worth the cost. I assume they do this on purpose to avoid returns.

Amazon were unable/unwilling to provide any help with this. Given Amazon Marketplace earns substantial fees from Marketplae Sellers, they should police them properly and enforce 'fair' returns policies.
This terrible customer experience reflects on both Patriot Memory Store and Amazon UK.

I purchase a fair number of SSD's every year... certainly will _NEVER_ BUY PATRIOT AGAIN.

First and last time

First and last time to buy anything from these people.

I bought 2 SSDs and they both stopped working properly after 3 months of installation. their response time was in full seconds and they were absolutely horribly slow.

When I contacted their support, they had the audacity to request me to pay for the shipping of their defective products back to them with no guarantee of any refund of this shipping fee.

Just go with some other well-known company.

No hassle on defective headset, we send you a better one

I had purchased a "Patriot VIPER V360" headset at the beginning of this year (February 2023). Unfortunately it was broken 9 months later. The cable connection in the earcup had a loose contact that caused the headset to disconnect at the slightest movement, making it unusable. I thought this was a shame as it was otherwise a pretty good headset.

I then raised this problem with Patriot's support department and 5 days later spontaneously received not just a replacement headset, but an upgrade to the original one. Instead of a replacement V360, we got a V380. At first I thought it might have been a mistake, but later found an email in my spam box with an apology for the defect and a notification that they would send me an upgrade. That turned out well!!

The new one is really better than the original and I am very happy with this service!!

Good service but be aware that one should bear the expenses

Around a month after I upgraded my memory with new patriot kit, my PC started to freeze time to time. Since the memory kit was new, I never thought RAM would be the reason. I wrote to RMA department and they were fast and helpful. Only thing is I had to wait 2 weeks and I had to pay the shipping to another country which was almost half price of the RAM kit already.

What warranty service? Patriot doesn't answer your requests

About a year and a half ago I got a set of memory modules from Amazon. They were Patriot Viper Steelseries modules, for a total of 32GB of memory. Up until now, they are performed as advertised. However, one recently failed. Failing products happen even with the best of companies, however, I went to their website and discovered that these have a limited lifetime warranty. So I went rooting around the site figuring out how to see about getting a replacement and came across a form. The form had a bunch of questions to open a ticket and I was like "okay here we are". Then I got to where you pick your product, so I picked DDR4 (which was what I have), and my product isn't even listed anywhere in that form. I can't submit this form because they didn't include the Steelseries Modules in it. Okay, fine, after confirming that SteelSeries does indeed have the same warranty, I came across a page on their website that gave an email to RMA. The site mentions registering for an account on the site which I did, and I sent them an email. That was about a week and a half ago. I have since messaged them on Facebook on their official page... No response. So basically they have ignored every request I have to use the warranty that supposedly their memory has. On top of that, if I do get approved, their website states that the customer has to pay for all the shipping to them and so forth. As if it's our fault their product didn't last. Anyways, because of their inability to communicate with me and their ignoring of my request, I would recommend going another route for memory, perhaps like Corsair.
