I thought that payhawk would solve the various issues we have around expenses. It has not, it is sold as a way of controlling expenses and simplifying their admin it is not.
1) Our expenses have gone up
2) it allows expense fraud
3) it is so complicated to manage its takes more time than an excel spreadsheet
4) its expensive 5 cards is costing over £500 a month the charge for one of the cards is more than the expenses themselves but you either have to have everyone using it or no one
5) cards a routinely declined even when in funds
6) Mileage doesn't work properly nor measures correctly
7) you can't do part journeys
8) The system doesn't integrate with QuickBooks consistently it constantly becomes unsynchronised
9) in Quickbooks it doesn't accept most payments
10) it doesn't remember the account for regular payments
But worst of all this their customer service is terrible, I raised all these issues within 2 weeks, we are now over 2 months down the line and they do nothing, this is so bad I last emailed them on 14 June and its now the 24th and no response. I have terminated my contract (note her they threatened to sue me if I did)
Seriously avoid PayHawk it has been such a distraction and I now have to work out what to do instead and sort the mess they have created.

very good overall - wish i could bundle expenses into expense report
very great interface - love how the form is structured (ex. fields for travel expenses, accommodations, are relevant to the expense itself).
One feature I prefer from a competitor (Expensify) is the ability to make expense reports to bundle related expenses. It's kind of a pain point (for example) to submit multiple expenses for all the meals I have on a business trip, and to show that I am staying within the per diem
