PAYPAL WORKS WITH SCAMMERS

I paid a company to get a trademark. I found out from the USPTO that I was scammed. The USPTO told me to dispute all charges. I paid $700 to this company and they kept charging me fees that were not real. I made a payment with Chase and a payment with PayPal. Chase refunded me in one day. PayPal took 20 days to tell me the scammers won. They work with these scammers.

Sides against customers, bad customer service

I was wrongly charged for a transaction and filed a dispute with Paypal with documentation. With minimal input from the seller they sided against me. Their customer service agents were dismissive and unhelpful when I asked for assistance. Paypal doesn't care about their consumers, and I'll be closing my account with them.

If I could leave a zero or negative…

If I could leave a zero or negative feedback I would. I recently made an online purchase from a Chinese factory that pretended to be an American business.
The item was a piece of garbage, nothing like the description or the pictures shown. When I asked for my money back and a return label, they said I had to pay for shipping to China to send it back at the tune of 80.00usd. I then opened a case with Paypal thinking for sure they would not be OK with a company defrauding unsuspecting customers. To my surprise they sided with the thieves. I am closing my Paypal account that I have had since they started. I want to warn everyone that Paypal's claims to be the protector between fraud online and you are nothing more than lies. They will side with whoever uses their service more which will always be a factory and not a customer. Also beware that now with AI, these chinese factories will pretend to be a company from your country and defraud you and Paypal will support them if you use them. Don't use either. Instead support your local businesses or be sure the business is owned by someone who is in your country. It may cost more but with so much international thievery online, it will probably come to being cheaper and without the hassles.

They support scammer companies

They support scammer companies. Don't ever think you're protected using their debt card. They are literal thieves. They back to scammers like wondershare. They steal to profit. Will never use the debt card. And will port out my patreon funds

PayPal onboards and supports scamming…

PayPal onboards and supports scamming companies and forces the buyer to accept the scam. At PayPal I came across the worst of the worst customers service ever. A scamming seller will unconditionally be the beneficiary. They do not process customers reply on a dispute and remove those from the communication logs. Disputes are closed instantly without prior notice. I'm going to file a complaint at our authorities in our country to stop this pretentious company practices run by mentally weak work force.

the worst payment processor

the worst payment processor, tested and won't get back again. Good bye for ever Paypal

you hold my funds for 180 days and close my account for a well reputed business

I go back to stripe and will never be back even as a customer.

Stripe versus paypal is like comparing a rolls roys with a fiat panda. Paypal is a fiat panda.

bureaucratic, complicated, heavy, useless bureaucraty, and lack of flexibility. You are working like a state post office of the 90 s.

By bye for ever Paypal.

DEBIT CARD AND FUNDS FROZEN NO APPEAL

DEBIT CARD AND FUNDS HELD HOSTAGE BY PAYPAL FOR 180DAYS! HOURS AFTER SETUP. Set up a legitimate account and spent afternoon in sandbox checking out features, hours later my funds and personal debit cards are held hostage by PAYAL for 180DAYS!. Email gives no reason and there is no avenue for appeal. I used my own ID, my own personal bank account and only worked in test scenarios, what possible reason for fraud could Paypal have? REALLY DODGY. Paypal, when you are confiscating the lifelines of stay at home Mums trying to set up legitimate small business it's time to reconsider your safety software and customer priorities.

Will hold your money hostage

The first few months, adding and taking money to and from your paypal account works just fine. After a while, they started holding my money hostage until I doxed myself. (For some reason, adding money was still an option)

The following process of talking to customer service was the longest and most painful experience I've ever had while talking to, what I'm guessing, are human beings. This took MONTHS, and multiple customer service people, some of them would just end the call/chat after my introduction. DO NOT TRUST PAYPALL

I would give PayPal a zero no stars…

I would give PayPal a zero no stars they say that they protect you, but they really don’t. They have people that are very inadequate with taking your complaints and they do not have your back. I would not trust PayPal. I am not gonna be using the service anymore.

Don't use them! They charge to much and if you are a business that needs items drop shipped to your customer... they will hold your money for 21 days! Paypal does not have the means to understand DROP SHIPPED ITEMS nor do they care!

Pay Pal has my funds: Cannot close account

PayPal refuses to close my account. Pay Pal held on to $50 sent to me. They refused to allow me to transfer it to my bank, putting limitation on my account. My friend's bank recouped the $50 from PayPal. Now PayPal is telling me that I owe them $50 plus the a $15.00 fee. I have been holding on and talking to a customer support person for 95 minutes without resolution. Won't allow me to close account

Paypal is appalling

Paypal is appalling. Over the past few years I have paid for quite a few things through this organisation. On three occasions (over several years) I have had cause for complaint. Paypal was no help. The last case scenario involved a refund for an online purchase from Light in the Box that did not match the advertised description. After reviewing Light in the Box on Trustpilot they decided they would refund the cost. In the meantime Paypal closed the complaint. I closed my account. I can’t get in touch with Paypal (no account, no login) so no refund. I am in touch with my bank (funds were taken from this account) and British Banking authorities. Perhaps Paypal will be investigated.

I was mislead

I was mislead. Went to buy a product on line. Went to checkout. Was mislead by PayPal. Next I know I have an account with them. Never wanted to do any business with this company. Took all day to cancel my account. However I still fear they still have my card and info. Not pleased at all.
