BEWARE! BEWARE!

Bought product online. Paid thru PayPal. They advertise buyer protection.

Received email with tracking number from seller. Package never arrived. Emailed seller, no answer. Contacted fedex was told that tracking number was not addressed or delivered to me at my address. Contacted paypal told them that the tracking number provided by the seller to paypal to get paid was not mine. Never received item. Paypal told me that I needed written proof that I never received package. Called fedex again and told them what paypal wanted. Fedex told me that privacy laws prevented them from telling me who received the package with that tracking number. They advised me to have PayPal fraud dept contact fedex's fraud dept. I advised paypal thru their online service advisor what fedex had said. They acknowledged this communication. Opened case and 5 days later advised me thru PayPal messages that they were denying my claim because seller provided them with the original invalid tracking number. So I lost my money to a scammer with paypal's help.

What's the point of using PayPal? BEWARE! BEWARE!

If you are into scamming, choose Paypal! if you like free money etc:
1. just log in to paypal & make an account
2. make a purchase online (maybe use vpn but probably not even needed rofl)
3. after youve received your product just tell paypal that you do not recognize the payment made
4. paypal sends you your money back : )
5. profit $$

If you are a seller then just stay away from this scamming palace, especially online goods.

Where to start... Paypal put an arbitrary block on my account after using them for literally decades. They wanted me to add a phone number to my account to proceed with any transaction. A phone number that was already LINKED to my account. THREE TIMES THIS WEEK I was on hold forever and finally got a cust svc rep who supposedly fixed it. Then today, assuming (and you know what they say about that!) that all was well, I tried to transfer some money to my bank account. AGAIN I got the same prompt asking me to link my phone number and when I put in the phone number ALREADY LINKED, the system told me the number was invalid. So, FOR THE THIRD TIME, I was on hold with paypal. Cust Svc said I would have to wait 3 days for the system to reset before I could get my money. Oh I don't think so! Somehow while the cust svc rep was bleating out more BS about this, the paypal system took pity on my and let me transfer the money to my bank--with a FEE of course for my trouble.

DO NOT USE PAYPAL. Use Venmo, Zelle, Cashapp, anything but this old BROKEN DOWN PAYMENT SYSTEM run by a right wing lunatic!

Why am I forced to give Paypal a star?
When I try to make a payment online using their Debit Card, the page repeatedly jumps, and the payment never goes through. Various payment websites and various reports, unheeded. You spend hours filling out a form, and then it's all destroyed by a failed Paypal payment and very often, you have to start again. The worst thing is despite numerous complaints to Paypal, they don't seem able to fix their code, and the problem persists.

It could have been better. the company is focused on protecting its interests, and what's in it for its customers is of little concern to them.

The biggest scammer and fraud company.These people will wait till your amount gets higher and once your start believe these people and increase your business theywill at once block your money and your account.In Paypal there is a big scammer name as Arron who will deal with you.He is a Paypal scam face who will deal with you and whatever scam Paypal dod he will rectify it.Who to believe and who to not is a big problem.Small Business owners are really screwed due to these companies.How to do the business.These companies needs to be punished but they know very well how to utilize the Laws and thats why they keep the our hard earn money as they know that no one can do anything to them and thats what exactly told to me by Paypal senior person Arron.
Lets put them on the list of BBB and after that i will make sure how to dissolve this company because i have that power.

Lies and more lies. Keeps money for days after they promise it is going to be released. Thousands of dollars, of my money, they float for their benefit. I am reporting them to the Consumer Financial department of the Federal Government and I suggest you do the same.

Terrible service. I made a business account this year and I have used it less than 10 times, all to pay for services regarging publishing my ebooks. I have sent all the bank statements and what they asked, and they still limited my account permently due to "excessive risk".
The only reason I can think of is because I write LGBT stuff

Worst experience. They just limited my account for no reason and i cant even withdraw my money for 180 days.

Our PayPal business account has been permanently limited after we supplied Paypal with all the correct information. Apparently because I fly around the world on business and login all around the globe this is against their fair use policy. In addition they do not offer any recourse to lift the 180 day limitation, their own online services to lift limited accounts only involves a bot and results in no solutions.
Please be advised you are dealing with a company that systematically abuses their user agreement and offers zero...ZERO customer service.
Use another service, this one is relatively expensive and once they have your money chances are you are going to have to fight to get it back...utterly disgraceful!

Why people are not coming to Pakistan. Why PayPal CEO is so cruel. Even the company is working in India but not in Pakistan. There are millions of freelancers in Pakistan. But PayPal is not available to us to do ease of doing business. Such a cruel company I have ever seen. Really love Payoneer.

Goods and services setting is a con!

I paid for a watch, sold as ‘new, using the Goods and Services ‘protection.’

The watch had a scuffed back and broken battery cover. The seller - a scammer it appears - said it was perfect when he sent it. It came boxed so that was impossible. I explained this via email to PayPal, who provided a return label. That was okay - hassle but ok. However, when I posted it, using their label, PayPal asked for the tracking details. I sent a photo of the receipt the post office gave me and a photo of the post office worker receiving it. (I wanted to be sure the scammer couldn’t wriggle out of refunding).

PayPal emailed to say they didn’t have the tracking details so couldn’t refund. They sent me to their ‘resolution centre,’ where I sent details of tracking again three times. They kept sending the same email. The case was never re-opened. I lost £18 and several hours of my time.

Avoid.

DON'T SHAKE YOUR HEAD, THIS IS FACT AND IT IS HAPPENING DAILY @PAYPAL. THIS HAPPENED TO MY WIFE CAUSE SHE IS LEGALLY BLIND & IS NOT AS SAVY ABOUT BEING SCREWED OVER BY BAD BUSINESS TACTICS. I CAUGHT THE ERROR SHE MADE WITHIN 15 MINUTES OF PAYPAL INSERTED PAYEE ON APP, THE MONEY WAS GONE AND PAYPAL IS WRONG TO NOT ALLOW A CANCELLATION OF PAYMENT FOR DIRECT ECHECK
PAYMENTS PROPERLY LINKED, THEY HAD TIME TO CANCEL IT AND DID NOTHING. OUR BANK HAD NO RECORD OF THE SEND, ONLY THE REMOVAL OF FUNDS AND HAD NO COURSE OF ACTION YET....NOT TIL AFTER A WEEK OF PAYPAL HOLDING THE $600.00 THEN TRANSFERING TO THEIR ADDRESS USING SAME NAME AS OUR SON BUT DIFFERENT ACCOUNT ALTOGETHER. I CAN GO ON AND ON ABOUT MANY SECURITY FLAWS AND THEFT TAKING PLACE ON THIS PLATFORM. I HAVE GATHERED A LIST OF NAMES OF GOOD HARD WORKING PEOPLE THAT LOST MONEY THIS WAY AND OTHER WAYS THAT I STUDIED AND FOUND OUT TO BE TRUE ABOUT PAYPAL. SIMPLY SAID, ITS EASIER TO RIP YOU OFF BY CROOKS AND IMPOSTERS ALLOWED BY PAYPAL.....THEN IT IS TO LOG INTO YOUR PAYPAL ACCT.

PayPal has proven to be safe, secure, reliable in our experience.

Our family has used PayPal for many many years. They've always done exactly what we needed them to do, which is make payment for various things on our behalf. . We've used it for through places like like Ebay, for fantasy football, Etsy, etc... We've used PayPal without incident.

Recently, I had a VERY bad experience with Etsy and I'm very thankful that I paid through PayPal! I ordered over $100 worth of gemstones from an Etsy seller by the name of rarestonebeads, in India. To this day I've never received my gemstones! It's been over 6 months and it's documented that my gemstones never left Jaipur India! Both Etsy and rarestonebeads assured me this was only a delay, and that I would receive my gemstones! Obviously, they were wrong and yet nether accepted any responsibility! They were both completely fine with my financial loss of over $100!

I contacted PayPal and they had a refund of my payment, minus a very small fee. I am very happy that I made my payment with PayPal and will never trust Etsy again.

I've sent Trustpilot proof of all of this and they refused to post my review. Is it that Trustpilot has something against PayPal? I honestly don't know. However, they've posted all of my other reviews without ever asking for proof. This seems oddly ironic and frankly, incredibly unethical. Again, I've provided them with extensive proof. Thus, I'm submitting this review again. And I'll continue to post reviews until they post my honest review.

After my account was frozen, PayPal has taken the entire money frozen in my account. No communication and no emails about the money stolen. When I enquired - I got an auto-generated email

PayPal is helping scammers on eBay. If you want to scam, paypal is here to help you. Just follow these steps.

Buy a product with an ebay account in good standing. Once the product is delivered, open a case on eBay and paypal telling their account was compromised. Get product+ refund.

This is how I've been scammed. This is how you'll be scammed. This is how we'll keep losing money because paypal is Pathetic and they don't care about the sellers.

Ebay refunded a buyer before he returned the item and took the money from my Paypal account. Complaints to Paypal were literally ignored even though I am the owner of this account.

Always decides in favour of scammers. No protection for seller even when the proof is provided.

Used paypal for nearly 6 years for about 50% of my online purchases. I open disputes in only 8 cases (on over 200 purchases) because of online stores that went bankrupt and didn't refund (Anime-island, now having problems with nippon yassan), all ended in my favor. Now (29 April) i received a mail saying "you can no longer use our service" claiming misuse of the protection program (in that case why all cases ended in my favour?) even when the uses where totally justified.
Their support its basically a bot saying that they dont known the precise cause of the ban and cant due anything about it.
