The lead times on the website are laughable, when purchasing it says delivery within 5 working says, well I ordered some time in October and had little to no communication for weeks and weeks so I reached out to them. I was then told the 5 days meant from when it leaves them which is odd. I was then given a new lead time of December and then finally received most my order in late January.

The order arrived and it's a mass of boxes, it's not overly clear what is in each box and whether you have all your order as there's not any documents just a bunch of boxes and glass panels. Again I reach out to Pergolux and in all fairness I get a quick response, we determine I am missing a box for the LED lights. Again we play the waiting game but after a few email exchanges FedEx deliver the LEDs.

In preparation for the handyman coming to help assemble I start checking through the boxes and instructions again to make sure everything is in order....again realise there's no box for the control box, no information stating whether it's in its own box or in one of the larger boxes. So send and email to Pergolux and subsequently go through the boxes and there is no sign of the control box.

So we're into Feb and still haven't received everything we need and there's the possibility of something else being missing but we won't know until we start to build it.

I'm just hoping that the quality of the product and assembly go to plan and it redeems itself, but there's also mention in some of the instructions that I might need to contact them again if certain screws don't fit. It's all becoming a bit of a faff and considering it's not cheap having spent around £9k you'd expect a smoother operation.

What I will say is when contacting Pergolux they have been quick to respond, but I think some better documents making it clear what is where, itemised breakdown of whether you have everything you should in your delivery and just giving more realistic leadtimes and being a bit more forthcoming providing updates would make the whole experience alot better.

Fingers crossed I can come back and give it another couple of stars when it's all built 🤞

Finally built and it's brilliant, very pleased with the end result. We did have the issues with the Louvre bolts but replacements arrived extremely quickly but would recommend reaching out and requesting these before building as it saves time.

Preparation is key, it says things need to be flat and they mean it. Prepare everything in advance it makes life alot easier. It says it's a DIY job but with three glass sides and the pergola to erect it was hard work for 3 men, one of which is a professional handyman with all the tools / experience.

The instructions would benefit from some text instructions to clarify things, we spent considerable time deciphering the instructions. Also print them off rather than using your phone or tablet.

I could pick fault with little bits here and there but honestly the end result is amazing and even with all the issues Pergolux were amazing with their communication and delivery despite us initially waiting a long time.

Would I recommend to someone else? I'm not sure, I think if the lead times were clearer and everything arrived as it should of done at the same time, Yes I would recommend.

Over all, I am absolutely delighted with end result and love our new pergola. It was fun to erect and I enjoyed the process, including fitting the sliding screens. It has been greatly admired since it was finished and is a great asset to the house.
The bad bit was the delivery date post ordering which took an age and we did not enjoy that part of the experience at all. It went from being a couple of weeks, to a couple of months, to pretty much six months before the whole order finally arrived - hence the four stars instead of five. I gave four stars because the customer service from Kerian and Tarek was really good and they stuck with it throughout. Kerian particularly went above and beyond to try and keep us happy and keep us informed of what was happening - or not happening.
I believe that the deliveries (logistics) are now much more under control which is good as it is a cracking product for the money and was only let down by the supply chain. I thought the quality of the product was excellent and the instructions were pretty easy to follow and they have done a great job with videos showing the process and a step by step PDF that you can have as an App on your phone, tablet or laptop.
Do give them a go (make sure you establish likely delivery dates before you hit the ‘go’ button if the completion is time sensitive) as I once the pergola is up, you will not regret it.

Ordered a 4x3 pergola with sides, heater and lights. Customer service was excellent! Very happy with my purchase.

I’ve been holding fire writing a review to see what the final product is like, however it’s now been 4.5 months since I initially placed the order and there’s still no light at the end of the tunnel. After a delay in shipping the pergola we then had to wait for our lights, only to discover they are faulty. We also had to wait 4 months for the heater. A replacement LED strip was sent out after 4 months (from our initial report), however an incorrect strip has now been delivered so we’re still waiting. Each time we have to partially take the pergola apart, which has wasted heaps of time not to mention goodness knows how many calls and emails. Beware of delivery timescales online - we ordered under the impression items were in stock, however after a huge delay across months we questioned this and was told stock levels are not updated / accurate online. It’s a massive shame as the structure of the pergola seems robust in comparison to some alternatives we viewed, however the extreme delivery delays and product faults massively overshadow this.

Easy to order, good communication, great service

10/10 Everything was spot on.
It was an effort to assemble, and if you can afford the assembly assistance I would recommend it. However 2 of us managed it in about 14 hours over a weekend.

I would also recommend investing in a self levelling laser if you plan on doing it yourself. Saved us loads of time.

Wow wow wow! We are so impressed with our Sundream S2 4x3 with electric roof, heaters and fully glazed. At first we considered adding it to our kitchen almost like a conservatory and we are so glad our garden designer steered us to making it an extra room in the garden. We are away from the hustle and bustle of our home. Walking outside to this peaceful retreat has been a game changer, wether it’s for our morning coffee in the early morning sunshine, to sunbathing during the day or working on the laptop when working from home, to the evening and entertaining friends with a glass of wine it’s simply incredible. The added heaters make it so cozy and opting to have glass on each side really was the best decision, it’s so bright and we get a 36O view of our beautiful renovationed garden, huge palms cleverly placed just above the roof make it feel like a tropical paradise with the electric roof that adds so much light and air or a chance to lay back and star gaze at night. It’s so well made, its a lovely dark grey that blends in but is chunky to add to its quality. The glass slides easily on every side meaning on those hot sunny days it can be completely opened. At night the led lights are so good they reflect in the glass reflecting endless squares of light. The choice of led colour is fun to play around with giving a different feel and can even be dimmed giving endless options. Value for money and quality this is a no brainer, cheaper than a house extension or an outdated conservatory. If like us you are unable to see one in real life pergolux gave us a video call which we did but still not sure if the quality was going to be as good as it looked, we can assure you it’s even better. It looks 3 times more than what we paid. Our garden has been completed transformed and this was literally the cherry on the top. Many thanks to all at Pergolux for giving us a new way of life for many years to come, we can not sing your praises enough with great customer service. Took months to come despite showing in stock when ordered. Cancelled glass doors as delivery time was sooo long and ordered a kit from Deponti and installed them instead.
However, pergola is really great quality and the only let down was the delivery time

We are delighted with our Skydance S2 pergola - it's extremely well built, functions perfectly and looks amazing. I would suggest using the recommended installer, MHeavenLtd, as installation was fairly complex and the recommended installer has the knowledge and tools to do the job properly.

I've given this review 4* purely because of the quality of the Pergolux product. It is a superbly engineered piece of kit and, if it wasn't for the awful service we received from the UK arm of Pergolux, it would have been 5*. Pergolux UK I'd give 1*.

Think very carefully before ordering in the UK, unless you are in no hurry to receive your pergola. We placed our order 4th August, paid the final invoice on the 14th November on the advice that they finally had the product and it was ready to be shipped, but didn't receive it until 4th December. Along the way we had numerous promises about delivery and excuses for why it didn't happen. When it did get shipped by Pergolux, their delivery agents AIT/Panther failed to deliver on the due date due to a vehicle problem and it took a further 12 days for them to complete the delivery. Pergolux appeared to be totally incapable of exerting any influence on them to speed this up.

And to add salt to the wound, when it was unpacked it was discovered that a critical component was missing, but more of that later.

I've no idea what the setup is at Pergolux UK, the staff members you speak to appear to be very friendly and claim they are doing the best they can, but try to speak to the CEO and there is stony silence. The parent company need to be made aware of the inadequacies of their UK operation as it reflects badly on their (excellent) product and it certainly spoilt the pergola buying experience for us. I did send an email to the CEO of the Norwegian parent company, but no response to this.

We would have gone elsewhere if we had known what we were letting ourselves in for.

So, to the product itself. We have a 3x5m S2 wall mount pergola with two 3m side screens and a 5m front screen. It's a very well engineered product, substantial and utilises top quality components. We are very pleased now that it is finally up and are looking forward to it improving our garden experience next summer.

The installation was carried out by MHeavenLtd and I cannot fault their service. I had to cancel a booking with them when the pergola did not arrive on the due date and they took this in their stride. They very quickly arranged a second date when we finally did get it and, after a 3 hour drive to get to us, they discovered within half an hour that the wall mounting brackets were missing, so could do nothing and set off for home again. Pergolux will have had to foot the bill for this wasted journey. A week later and they were back again and this time all went well. Three very efficient guys assembled it in less than 4 hours. I'm glad I didn't attempt it myself, they had all the kit, including laser levelling gear and had the experience to ensure it went up without a hitch. I'd like to thank them for a great job.

So, summing up, Pergolux product superb, MHeaven brilliant, AIT hopeless, Pergolux UK operation needs to review it's customer service.

review updated for fairness 19/12: After further contact with customer services, ongoing supply issues with series 1 Pergolux accessories appears to be resolved, informed screens now available in the warehouse and will be sent to me in the new year. Hopefully customer services will improve to keep customers in the loop for stock issues that remain ongoing, that would avoid much frustration.

The core Pergolux product is definitely worth the investment and hopefully once the screens are received it will just further heighten our use and enjoyment of the pergola. It is definitely the statement we wanted in our garden.

I wish the instructions to build were better.

This is now one of my garden essentials. Easy setup and no issues so far.
