This is a scam
This is a scam, once registered, your details are on the chip for the lifetime of your pet. Remember to UPDATE your pet's chip if you move home, or change your phone number. If you don't know who the chip is registered through, ask your vet to scan the chip, they will be able to help.
Scam
Scam! Received email with too much correct info on myself & pet saying chip info had expired. Link to click to renew. Thank goodness I didn’t send any payment and looked up my pets info in my files. Completely different company. I called them and my pet has lifetime registration. Told me to report!

SCAM don’t send any money and block them.
But it’s really worrying how they know all the information about me and my pet!!!
Be careful of this scam!
I just had the exact same experience with an email received from Petchip Network looking for money for our "expired" registration. So I called 24Petwatch where we originally registered. They know nothing about Petchip. It's scary how much info Petchip has about us, enough to make it seem legitimate.

Received a request to renew my cat's chip registration although it is registerd with another company. All the details given were correct, so how did they get them?
Scam Company Avoid - Check and Teport
Same as all the other comments in here. They are a Scam and have just set up a basic Excell based database that looks official. However it is not a database used by Authorities. I went to a vet in Spain and their records showed the very original owner 4 years ago despite my paying to register. I also then received a fraudulent email about renewal and that my pet would show as unregistered. This is a complete lie and I am involving the Spanish Police and Pay Pal in further enquiries and will be contacting the British Veterinary Asdoc in the U.K. on my return.
My vet suggested I look at trust pilot as they come across various scams to do with promotion of pet databases. I wish I had checked on here first.
Please report this Company if you have had same issues to avoid issues with other pet owners who may think their pet might be reunited with them if lost.
SCAM! Once registered, your pet's registration DOES NOT expire.
Telling me my cat's microchip registration has run out so I need to pay again to get him re-registered.
This is a total scam. Registering your pet's microchip incurs a one-off payment that covers them for life.
Please do not be fooled by this scaremongering from Petchip. They're just after your money.
Spammed by this company.
Spammed by this company.
They emailed that my dogs tag registration had expired giving details of my pet.
I do not use them to register my pet, who is fully and actively registered with another company.
Phishing.
SCAM
SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!!
Unfortunately I was fooled by these despicable scammers. I complained to PayPal and have just received a refund.
SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!!
Do not share any bank detailspetchip network scam
Do not share any bank details. I also received an email from these individuals. I called my veterinarian because I was suspicious, and they advised me to use Trustpilot, which confirmed my concerns.
Pet chip
Yesterday I received an email from Petchip that said; Our records indicate that your microchip registration for (my dogs name), has expired.
(My dogs name) microchip number (my dogs chip number) will soon display "unregistered animal" in all affiliated websites and databases.
In order to still be contacted at (my cell number) or to update your emergency pet keeper contact information for (my dogs name), please visit the link below. You will need (my dogs name) microchip number: (My dogs chip number) to renew your registration. At first I panicked, then I realized this is not the company who's name is on my dogs chip tag. I called AVID whos number was on his chip tag and they verified his chip is still active.
I am not sure how this company obtained all my dogs information but I am very upset that they chose to use it in this way.
Concerned pet owner,
Judy H
False/misleading advertising
The email you sent made it sound like my chip would be inactive. That was NOT true. It was, and still is registered thru Avid. False advertising. No worries. I've reported this as SPAM and blocked your email.
