Disappointing Experience in PIA Premium…

Disappointing Experience in PIA Premium Economy Class. I recently flew with Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) in Premium Economy Class, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing.

The seat mechanism was faulty, and the recline function did not work at all. My seat remained completely upright for the entire 14-hour flight, which caused severe back pain that lasted for several days after the trip. Additionally, the seat pocket was torn from the base, so I couldn’t even place my belongings properly. The in-flight entertainment system was not working, and despite repeatedly informing the cabin crew, no solution was provided. What made the situation worse was that the staff seemed dismissive and even made fun of the issue instead of handling it professionally. For a class advertised as Premium Economy, the overall quality and service were extremely poor. I expected more comfort and reliability, especially given the higher fare. This experience has left me very disappointed and hesitant to travel with PIA again unless there are significant improvements in aircraft maintenance and customer service Standard. the high price didn’t match the poor service and facilities.

Axing Cabin Crew

Dear Pakistan International Airlines Customer Service Team,

I am writing to commend the exceptional service I recently received on one of your flights. PK0783 I never anticipated a trip could be better, but the experience was truly five-star.

I had a similarly excellent experience traveling with PIA back in 2019, and this most recent journey reaffirmed my positive impression. I was particularly impressed by the sincere hospitality and accommodating nature of the cabin crew in Business Class. While I cannot recall every name, they were wonderful and left me truly speechless.

I would like to especially thank Afshan (spelling uncertain) and Aliya for their outstanding service.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire crew for making my trip so positive.

I am giving this review while waiting…

I am giving this review while waiting in waiting area as my flight from karachi to skardu has been cancelled and not because of weather as flight from isl is going and as i confirmed from pia staff its not because of weather. Now i booked expensive flight which costed me almost doubled due to direct flight and when i came to airport then i came to know about it. Now i my hotel is missed. I have to stay in a hotel in isl and dont know what tp say. Worst flight in my opinion.

PIA is very incompetent....

PIA is by far the most disastrous airline ever, I am absolutely appalled by PIA. I am born and raised in Pakistan and have travelled through PIA a couple of times from Toronto to Lahore and Islamabad and they have always created messy issues with the flights and their timings. My family's flight recently was canceled without any notice, which was supposed to depart on 21st October, 2025 from YYZ and on top of that they decided on their own to to reschedule it for November 6, after a crucial family wedding we were supposed to attend on October 23. My mother has recently undergone a heart transplant, and despite having travel insurance, the dates that are mentioned on the paperwork, it is just so hard to deal all of that again. PIA shows not a shred of concern for her health or safety.
The airline does not call, does not inform, and treats customers like absolute trash. There is no accountability, no empathy, and no respect for passengers who have already paid for a service. They keep on cancelling flights and book them as if people are going to be following their rules only, and people got no life. PIA has demonstrated total negligence, complete disregard for customer wellbeing, and shocking incompetence. If you value your time, health, or peace of mind, stay far away from PIA — they are unfit to operate and incapable of providing basic customer care.

Worst airline service always flight delayed for 5 to 6 hours, for the same reason operation services. Shame on PIA management if you can't run airlines than why distributing customers. Go to hell with this Haram benefits and salary which you get from PIA.

I am very happy with the services of PIA Airlines, especially the courteous staff and their hospitality. The food quality has also improved, making the travel experience much better day by day travelling finding lots of improvements better way I must say appreciate the staff services and the way they serve you is outstanding respect and care.

Just taking pay, no customer support. Baggage Check in counter was trying to extort money out of me by not letting me check in with my own baggage which was in the limits of my 30kg limit. It totalled 20 kg but he refused to let my baggage check in and demanded 10,000. Approached The section manager and he was even more ill mannered and refused to listen to the complaint to solve issue. Govt employees getting paid to do nothing. No customer care, inflated egos of pathetic staff. Never Fly PIA

No Refund, No Response: Extremely Disappointing Experience with PIA

I purchased two economy flight tickets on the PIA website for travel from Lahore to Karachi on March 18, 2025. Due to a change in my itinerary, I sent two emails to PIA and also spoke with a PIA agent in Skardu, who assured me that I would receive a full refund. However, as of today—June 10, 2025—I have not received any response or refund. This experience reflects extremely unprofessional and irresponsible service. I strongly advise others to avoid using this airline.

A Disastrous Experience with PIA - Will Never Fly Again!

As someone who's been flying between Pakistan and the UAE for almost 10 years, I've never encountered the kind of issues I had on my most recent flight with PIA. Up until now, I’ve always flown with Emirates or Flydubai, with zero problems related to flight cancellations or baggage issues. But after hearing a few rumors about PIA's service improvements, I thought I'd give them a shot. Big mistake!

I booked a round trip from Dubai (DXB) to Multan (MUX) three weeks ahead of time. Just one week after booking, I received a notification that my return flight from MUX to DXB had been canceled and rebooked to a much later date—totally inconvenient since I had to get back to work in Dubai. When I contacted PIA's customer service, I was told to visit their office in person to resolve the issue. In this day and age of digital communication, that was absurd! But I had no choice, so I drove to their office, got the flight changed to a different day, and thought the worst was over.

That was until I landed in Dubai. To my horror, when I collected my checked-in baggage, I found that it had been severely damaged. The zipper area was torn, and my belongings were spilling out. To make matters worse, despite having wrapped my bag at MUX for extra protection, the wrapping was completely ripped apart, and the bag itself was slashed open. It was beyond frustrating!

In short, PIA has not only failed to deliver on their promises of improved service but has also left me dealing with avoidable hassle and stress. After this experience, I am absolutely done with PIA and will never consider flying with them again.

I flew from Yyz to isb on28th February…

I flew from Yyz to isb on28th February flight departure and landing was excellent but very disappointed with the conditions of the aircraft. None of the tvs were working every other toilet was clogged and out of order not happy about this atall food quality was good but very low quantity and small portions.

Very poor service

Very poor service , plane was fully broken , even the eating trays , I was told to balance my food on it for my 2 year old. Spicy biryani for my 2 year old , when asked if there’s any yoghurt or any other food they said this is the best they can do . Toilets were broken My seat smelt of urine so bad I asked them to move me if they can as I was almost sick and nauseous due to the smell and they told me to sit somewhere else .. once I settled my 3 kids (2,4 and 6)they told me to sit there . They then said it’s 60 dollars per person sitting there even though these seats were broken the tvs weren’t working , not sure why they wanted to con us. I asked them to get rid of the foul smell and I will move back no problem . They kept harrsssing us . They also changed my ticket and sent us 5 and half hours before our scheduled flight so in total we were now staying 26 hours- we asked for a hotel as we would require two hotels now due to change of time it was now two nights we had to stay , they were very rude and said you have no chance for anything go buy your own hotel , we only made it earlier it’s not our fault, very aggressive and rude , DO NOT FLY WITH THESE CON ARTISTS ..
