Huge Potential Missed

Not bad at all. The whole process was smooth, the take-off and landing was actually great. The best part was the food. Awesome biryani. There are though aspects that definitely need an improvement.

The cabin crew barely smiles and looks like they have been forced to work. The planes are just not top notch and definitely of older quality. Seats were not comfortable either. Too hard and congested.

Overall, I would rate is as 3/5 while hoping that Pakistan government could really work on PIA and bring back its glory.

Lost my luggage Didn’t deliver me

I recently had a terrible experience with PIA airline. They lost my luggage, and despite assurances, it was never delivered. To make matters worse, I didn't even reach my destination on time due to their inefficiency. The lack of communication and poor customer service only compounded the frustration. I would strongly advise against flying with PIA based on this experience.

I flew from SKT to JED on PIA and it…

I flew from SKT to JED on PIA and it was a terrible experience. The staff spoke Punjabi to everyone, lunch was just rice, and water was given in small glasses on request. There were broken screens, dirty seats and windows, garbage under the seats, no reclining seats, no legroom, and narrow walkways. The staff was all 40-45+ years old. It was my first PIA flight in 12 years due to an urgent travel need, and it was the worst 5 hours of my life.

Worst airline

Worst airline. 7-8 hours delay for each flight operating in Asia is their hidden policy. Every flight is late means, this is their agenda and practice. Shame on their management and staff for telling lies and lies always. They don’t even respect the time of HAJJ flights. MUST BOYCOTT this airline. This MUST BE BANNED forever.

No wonder why PIA incurs huge losses…

No wonder why PIA incurs huge losses and has lost the credibility amongst international as well as local passengers.
Blatant breach of safety standards by travelling a lady in the cockpit during take off, flight and landing.....
PIA flight PK 456, Skardu to Karachi on 17 April 2024.
Safety of flight and passengers was seriously compromised by Protocol or personal relationships when a young lady with long hair, in casual dress, was observed to enter the cockpit of the aeroplane, and remained inside the cockpit during the take off, entire duration of flight, and the landing operations thus by-passing all safety procedures, risking everyone's life, and the property.

Flight departure was initially brought forward by 30 minutes but about 15 hours prior to departure it was announced to be late by 5 hours. These 5 hours could not be utilised due to short notice of change.

PIA flight PK 455, Karachi to Skardu on 13 April 2024 had schedule changes/delays when initially they announced 30 minutes prior schedule departure and few hours prior departure they announced delay of 2 hours, then 30 minutes and 30 minutes twice, and actual departure was further delayed by another 45 minutes, so total delay of 3H 45M in last few hours of scheduled departure

Worst domestic service

Worst service. They canceled my return flight from Karachi to Multan two weeks ahead and changed it to 3 days after the original schedule. These unprofessional PIA Staff cannot arrange an alternative plane in 2 weeks.

It was very bad Staff very rude

It was very bad Staff very rude, and very unhelpful very corrupted people recently my flight was connecting from Islamabad to London from Islamabad to Karachi. I traveled with PIA international airline. On fifth of March. I bought a ticket was saying I’m allowed 25 KG weight +7 KG on hand but they did not allow me take my hand luggage because they were asking me to give them money to take a bag seven KG. Which was corrupted because this is not happened anywhere else in the world except Pakistan because I’ve been traveing 19 years and I never seen this case only happened with PIA I will never travel again with this airline. and I will let people know as well. If you can word this airline.

Pathetic and unpleasant experience

Pathetic and unpleasant experience.
I asked for window seat as I am travelling solo but got different seat.
Staff is extremely unprofessional and passing irrelevant comments.
No one should ever fly with PIA.
Worst experience.

I think Pakistan Airlines is completely unreliable.

In June 2023, I booked a flight from Lahore to Karachi leaving on the 5th of January 2024 in the evening (20:00 p.m.).
Starting from June, they comunicated me several chancing in the departure time and, then, that my flight was first moved to the 6th and, then, to the 7th of January (unfortunately I had my intercontinental flight starting from Karachi on the 6th, early in the morning).
Furthermore, I couldn't modify my booking by means of the Pakistan Airline web site anymore.
The telefon number of their Office in Italy (Milan) was not responding and Pakistan Airlines never never responded to the emails I sent to their main Office in Karachi.
Thanks to the help of an Islamabad tour operator, at the end the problem seemed to be solved, and the correct booking confirmed.
Unfortunaly, just a few days before the departure, Pakistan Airline comunicated me a further change in the deperture time and, subsequently, that the flight was deleted, even if it still appeared correctly on Pakistan Airlines web site, that allowed me also to buy, for the flight itself, some more options, like snacks and more hold baggage.
Tour operator told me that it was all O.K., but the evening of departure, the flight wasn't on the airport scoreboard.
The Pakistan Airlines Office at the airport only told me "I'm sorry, the flight is deleted" without proposing me any alternative solution and/or an accomodation for the night.
Furthermore, it is practically impossible for me to be refunded, as I don't know where ask for that, as they don't reply to emaisl and they seem not to have an office in Italy any more, even if it still is indicated on their web site.
I think it would better to stay away from this airline.
