Wow. We had to do a 2 day move from a 7th story Apartment down to a seaside town. These guys were incredible. Everything was carefully considered. Fragile items were wrapped and well padded. No breakages at all. Including a very cumbersome 100” projection screen.

I had a fantastic experience with Pickfords Removals during my recent move from Kent to Epsom. From start to finish, everything was handled professionally and efficiently, which made what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and well-organized.

A special thank you to Paul, Stuart, Phil, and Kevin — they were absolutely brilliant on the day. Friendly, hardworking, and incredibly careful with all of my belongings, they went above and beyond to make sure everything was packed, transported, and delivered safely. Their positive attitude really stood out and made a big difference.

Mark, Gin, Carl and Jasper were our removers on the day. They arrived on time, worked hard and quickly, were friendly and kept us in the loop all the way through. They took the stress out of what would have been a hard day for us. Our items went into storage until we are ready to move into our new place. Hope we get them on the delivery side of the move.
A big shout out to Jade in the Office too, she was our Move Manager, she made sure it all went smoothly, no matter how many times I called to ask silly questions, nothing was too much. Thanks so much to the whole team.

Used Pickfords for removals into storage - which all went seamlessly. The team on day of Blaine, Stuart and Joseph were superb - very efficient, polite and considerate. They took extra care with large and fragile items. Whole house was packed up swiftly and was very impressed how comprehensive the items were detailed and stored. The entire experience including survey and dealing with Jade in the office has been faultless and look forward to seeing team again when house move completes. Hopefully we get team BSJ again as they made light work of all the Ottoman beds and entire contents - Very highly recommeded.

I really can’t complain about the service I received from Pickfords. Had 4 men load from our move from Kent to Worcestershire. They delivered the next day and 6 men helped unload. Brilliant service and they really took care of our property. You get what you pay for.

Having had a fantastic experience with Pickfords, moving my Dad, I couldn't use anyone else when I had a small move to the US. The crew that came to pack up were on time, fast, efficient and friendly. It was a pleasure doing business with them again and I highly recommend them for any and all moves you have big or small.
Lastly, I have to give a shout out to Nichola in the office, very professional and friendly but alway a giggle and a hoot talking with her.

Excellent service from initial enquiry to move day. Teams were really helpful, quick to respond and the on the day move was quick.

Pickfords recently packed up our son’s house in Liverpool and put his belongings into their store whist he buys a house in Sheffield.
From the very first telephone call from Jess in the Manchester office to the end of the removal day everything went wonderfully smoothly. Very professional in all aspects and stress free.
Pickfords exceeded our expectations and provided a service second to none.
We have no hesitation in recommending Pickfords to anyone embarking on the daunting task of moving house. You would be in caring and extremely capable hands.

We were moving out of a second floor duplex flat with some tricky stairs and a lot of doors and were worried about the move. Pickfords from day one were excellent and we were completely put at ease at both ends of our move being looked after by Lewis, Morgan, and Kyle I. They were quick, professional and most importantly a lovely bunch of people to have dealt with. Cannot recommend Pickfords enough if you are moving!

Excellent service from start to finish. Everyone was exceptionally helpful during every step from arrange a quote to the guys delivering to our new house and in between bit of date changes and everything else. 100% would use Pickfords again. It made moving day so painless.

As a whole, we’ve been very impressed with Pickfords. This is largely due to the service from the move manager, Samantha Butler, and, in particular, the team doing the packing, led by Owen and Phil.

Our only minor issues were that the initial sales team were overly optimistic on the size of the van required (go for the bigger one if you’re given a choice) and that the electrical items could’ve been packed there associated power cables. These are obviously minor points.

We would recommend Pickfords and would use them again in the future.

From collection to delivery, the Pickford team were amazing! Logistically, our move was complicated. Pickfords had to collect from 2 addresses and deliver to one. This was brilliantly organised with use of a smaller van which then unloaded onto a large lorry. The team were very diligent, covering floors and expertly disassembling beds and chairs. They were great and patiently waited for me to whizz around with the hoover before leaving! On moving day, we were unable to move into our new home, so all of our belongings were placed in Pickford’s storage. Kayleigh (in the office)kept in touch and when we were ready, organised the delivery to our new home. Ben, Carl, Joe, John and Paul were absolutely fantastic! The squeezing of the piano into a tiny space was carried out with much perseverance and I really felt that they each deserved a medal! We didn’t move into our new house until about 3 months later, but it was lovely to see that one of the Pickford’s managers, who had been present at the start of our journey, had travelled all the way to Cornwall to check that everything had gone smoothly. We couldn’t have been happier with their service and would recommend them to anyone planning to move

Since being in touch with us for the first time we had the feeling our shipment was in good hands. And although I had a few favours to ask Pickfords came through, were reliable and on time. Special shout out and thanks to Simon Edwards who was our person to speak to, quick responses and very easy communication, thank you very much!

Pickfords handled our move from Shropshire to Sussex.
They were very professional and efficient. Everything went smoothly, they turned up on time and worked tirelessly.
In particular I would commend Sean who drove the van, worked tirelessly and made sure everything ran smoothly.
Two teams of porters came to join him, one at our original home, and one to our destination, both worked hard and were professional and courteous.
Along the way, we dealt with Penny who did our quote and Charlotte our move coordinator, between them all the move was very slick!

We have used Pickfords many times and they have always been first class.
