Paid for delivery then my son had to assist.

My son had to assist with the delivery even though there was another worker present from the company. I tried to get problem resolved with company customer service but it is terrible. I wish I had read the reviews first before purchasing item from Big Lots.

Absolute Garbage!!!

I have called multiple times and gotten nowhere. I suggest you find another line of work because there is no way you guys stay in business. I called a total of 5 times and two chat sessions to get a delivery ETA and got nowhere.

My delivery was scheduled for today by…

My delivery was scheduled for today by 2pm. I get a text stating there was a delay. I call and was told my window is now expanded to 8pm. I got my shipment at 9. The delivery guys were awesome. For the amount of merchandise/weight, this company should have had more than 2 guys deliver. It is real unfortunate that you would mistreat these men this way. They are the only reason I gave 4 stars. They told me they had 2 more stops after me. SMH.

Jhael & Ivan are the absolute best

Jhael & Ivan are the absolute best! My headboard for my son's crib broke during delivery and they took care of everything. They are honest and dependable. They are also great with dogs. My 3 dogs are in love with them. Would highly recommend them!

The worst 3PL. Don’t use this company. It’s a SCAM. The company lacks visibility and customer service.

Great!

After reading the abysmal reviews I was certain that this would be a scam. However, my personal experience in Denver was top notch and I am very happy with this service. My delivery drivers were friendly, on time and communicative -- I would use them again. To note, you have to be patient and wait for your delivery window to open in order for the app to go into "searching for drivers" status.

No stars if I could

No stars if I could. I placed a order through Big Lots for same day delivery it charged $95 the window for delivery was not same day so I chose the one that would still work even though was couple days out. I did not choose the delivery company this is a company that Big Lots is choosing to work with. I called on the morning of delivery since I had not heard anything from the delivery company and was assured by the woman I spoke with that the item would be delivered and waited all day and it never came. I finally emailed the support number at the end of my delivery time since they did not have the courtesy to even reach out to me to tell me my item would not be coming at that point getting a response to call and reshedule my delivery to only speak with a very rude woman who told me that I should of read the terms and conditions and she can not force someone to pick up my order as no one wanted that job. They then are telling me the new delivery will be 5 more days out. I asked what if someone doesn't want that job that day she then said it would again be rescheduled. I was told that if I wanted the item earlier to go get it myself. Well if that was option for me to get it myself ...I certainly wouldn't of chose to be delivered I was assured was safe amd reliable by Big Lots which was a complete lie. I have not been able to get any answers from the delivery company as the lady I spoke with was so unhelpful and if i do find someone to pick it up how tthey will not refund the delivery fee. I called Big Lots which they told me because the item was not picked up and it has been 5 days my item will most likely be canceled through the store. So this whole situation has been nothing but a complete stressful mess. I am in disbelief that Big Lots continues to use a company that has no responsibility to deliver or provide any customer service and that this delivery company has no respect for people. The agent from Big Lots told me this is a common issue with delivery company. As of now funds are being held of my card its been 6 days no delivery and most likely won't receive because be canceled by the store. I would never recommend this company for any reason! I would like to add going back to the comment made by the unhelpful rude girl answering phones at this pickup company she made a comment stating I should of read the terms and conditions well let me advise you since you are unaware when I placed my order through Big Lots you chose your time at checkout and have no idea who the pickup company is until after your order is placed so when you state read it on pickup.com website before you decide thats not possible and there are no terms or conditions on the Big Lot website stating you can only deliver when one of your drivers decides to accept the job and could be weeks.....so please get your information correct.

I wish I could have given 0 stars

I wish I could have given 0 stars . I paid almost 40 dollars for same day delivery yesterday . My order was placed and I received confirmation from the delivery company at 12:20 pm . Well before the 2 pm deadline . I was given a scheduled delivery window of 4-8 pm so I waited at home for my order until 7:40 when I called and was told that they had no one to deliver my order and I may not be receiving it for several DAYS. I paid a lot for same day delivery because i didn’t want to wait the three days for FREE standard shipping . I called again this am to confirm delivery date and was not able to get a date . This is very disappointing.

Order never arrived

Order never arrived. I even called to confirm it was coming. No one called to update me or tell me if it was rescheduled or canceled. Bad customer service experience.

Excellent communication via phone and text message. Super friendly and efficient once they arrived. They delivered next day, which is very convenient and fast! They did run a bit late, but always informed me along the way. I highly recommend their services and would definitely use them again.

BEWARE! Just pick it up YOURSELF!

I ordered a pool to be delivered today from Big Lots. Delivery window was 8AM-8PM. Delivery guy actually called to confirm he’d drop off by 5:30PM. Well here it is 8:50PM and nobody is here. Called the number back, no answer. I wasn’t surprised. This is actually my 2nd time trying to use Same Day delivery through Big Lots. The first time I tried to use this service my order was cancelled. I assume the same will happen with this pool order. Smh… Guess I’ll sit in this ATL traffic to pick up my pool tomorrow. If it’s still there. Terrible service! I should’ve learned from the first time.

The worst possible third party delivery…

The worst possible third party delivery service a business could use. I could list a million reasons why. I paid $100 for same day delivery 5/21. My delivery has been pushed back day by day for a week now. The company's business model is an absolute joke. They are contracted by furniture sellers (Big Lots in particular) and then CONTRACT OUT THEIR DRIVERS? Talk about cutting corners. This company is also damaging BigLots reputation at this point and I cant imagine the business staying operational for much longer. Absolute Joke

Been waiting all day for delivery and…

Been waiting all day for delivery and nothing. Called 4 times. In the first three calls, they assured me that there were no delays. On the third call, they said the delivery driver would call me. NO CALL. On my last call, right at the end of the delivery window, they said it would be rescheduled for tomorrow morning. At this point, I don't believe them. This is ridiculous. I just want my couch delivered from Big Lots. I could have gotten a truck and driven there by now. I cancelled a date night because I was assured that my delivery would be today as scheduled.

Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible. I had an order that was supposed to be delivered on Saturday, 5/21. I called this company at 11:30 am to confirm that my order from Big Lots was still being delivered and the rep.confirmed that it was. Around 2 pm, I get a call apologizing that there was a delay. At 5 pm, I get a text (not a call) saying that unfortunately Pickup cannot service the delivery that day. I called this company 3 times shortly after this and was placed in a hold queue all 3 times to be disconnected. Finally, someone from Pickup calls me that evening after I sent an email query and they rescheduled the delivery to 5/24. I was not happy with that, but at least it was rescheduled. Well today, 5/23, I get an email from Big Lots cancelling my order because it was not picked up Saturday, so I had to go through the whole process again. After working with Big Lots for 2 hours today with multiple reps, we got it handled and my table was delivered today by another professional delivery company. I would not recommend Pickup to anyone based off of my poor experience. This whole situation was handled poorly and unprofessionally and without proper communication.

Do NOT use this company

FYI to anyone who buys furniture from Big Lots and can’t move it they recommend this company. They are not reliable in anyway. Their online portal makes it seem polished and easy but they constantly reschedule your appt due to the lack of drivers. I feel bad for the customer service reps who are getting a bad rap on Yelp, they were very helpful but they cannot make a nonexistent driver show up. This is a corporate issue, customers should not be able to make an appt if you do not have enough drivers/movers to complete the job. I will never recommend or use this company again. After being canceled on twice (a week apart), I just chose another company. All in a day moving is amazing, they did exactly that and moved my couch to my home the next day.

ASK FOR JHAEL AND IVAN TO DELIVER!

Jhael and Ivan were amazing. They texted me at the start of my day to update me on the shipment and coordinate to make sure I would be available at our new home instead of showing up unannounced. They worked with me on a timeline to deliver and make sure everything went smoothly.

Throughout the morning, I continued to receive texts from them letting me know their progress as they arrived at the facility to pick up the furniture. They let me know it was taking a little extra time since the most important part of our delivery, the Broyhill U-shaped sectional, was damaged when they received it. They worked with the Big Lots employees to ensure that they received a new, perfect and undamaged sectional to deliver.

Upon arrival, they were incredibly friendly, asked plenty of questions to make sure that the couch ended up in the exact room and position we wanted and also was navigated through the house in a way we were happy and comfortable with. They were quick and diligent in getting the couch and other items in, ensuring that any extraneous garbage was cleaned up and that the house was left just as pristine as it was when they arrived.

I had an amazing experience with my delivery today because of the professionalism and great work ethic of both Jhael and Ivan.
