Possibly a scam

Possibly a scam. I purchased an item listed for sale. The next day I received an email notifying me that the item was out of stock. No mention of a refund. Then I received an email from the purported CEO that the item was preparing for shipment. I spent a fair amount of time to finally learn that the last email is one set out systematically. It promised a refund in 15 days. Why can't companies refund your money as fast as they take it. I am willing to bet I don't receive it.

Scam.
