This So-called charity is a disgrace.

This So-called charity is not operating in the best interests of children in the care system. our Son then age 7 had a breakdown at school and as we still retained full parental responsibility the Social worker asked us to sign a concent form so Place2be could help him. we signed the form and thought he would finally have an independent person he could speak to and express his true wishes and feelings which to that point had been kept from us. how wrong we were. Place2be staff worked with our Son for approx 12 months yet all our requests to see the information were declined stating we did not have Paraental responsibily when we did. complaints to their head office were brushed off then we were ignored. we then submitted a freedom of information request to access the data which was declined using a getout clause. we believe they were withholing the data at the request of the council to protect their contracts.
We were so annoyed we even contacted their Royal patron HRH Kate Middleton but she declined to get involved. even comments left on their Youtube channel were removed then they disabled commenting on all their vidoes. this is disgraceful behaviour for a so-called charity claiming to help children. we believe our Son has suffered mental harm as a result of their actions but there appears to be nobody policing them. Not even the charities commision. they should be investigated.
