Put a £200 order for soffit board on the 6th of may told 3/5 days for delivery no delivery date tried to ring phone lines down haha 😆 email us only to be fobbed off with excuses time after time after time this must be scammers after 6 weeks bank stepped in don't fall for this scam

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Well I can only convey with all the other poor reviews for Plastics Hub. Do Not Use. Thankfully I also paid through PayPal and have finally received a refund. Placed my order on the 3rd May. Refunded June 6th.
Had to open a claims case through PayPal, as Plastics Hub had no intention of refunding me.
This business should be looked into and shut down. Otherwise, even more people who don't read the Trustpilot reviews will have to go through the same procedure, but might not be as lucky to get their hard earned money refunded. Also the waisted precious time.

SCAM' PLASTICS HUB

I ordered products from PLASTICS HUB 29th May 2025. I have never received an email confirmation but the company took my money the same day.
Now the company has taken down the website and the phone number for them goes to voicemail asking you to email them. I have NOT recieved any goods or even any contact from this company.
THIS COMPANY HAS 2 OUTSTANDING CHARGES AGAINST THEM, LOOK ON COMPANIES HOUSE AND YOU WILL SEE THIS. AVOID. YOU WILL LOSE MONEY.

So second order as firat order ealier this year went fine. This time they have my money and said supply chain problems. Accepted the refund email and said they have refunded but nothing yet. Been nearly a month now so asked credit card to step in. Fingers crossed. Not answering the phone either. Message saying phone problems since april. Weird.

AVOID this seller!

My experience is the same as many other recent reviewers - this 'company' does not even deserve one star.
A few days after ordering I chased my delivery which had supposedly been dispatched, only to be told that it had not in fact left them yet and would be a few weeks. As soon as I asked for a refund they fell silent. I'm usually more careful than this but for once I forgot to check reviews before ordering - when I did, only then did I realise I was dealing with a problem seller.
Thank Heavens for Paypal, who stepped in and re-claimed my payment for me.
They are either badly incompetent or are intentionally scamming customers.
Definitely one to avoid.

One star is one star TOO MANY

Well, Let’s start by saying ONE star is one star too far.
I’ve used Plastics hub before with mixed results but nothing composed me for the pitiful pantomime of the last month. Same story as most others, ordered facia boards on 6/5/25 with delivery expected between 3-5 days. A week passes and an Email stating “delay due to suppliers, Could be 2-3 more weeks! Did I want a refund”?. No lets stick with you, after chasing again was told “we are having difficulties with deliveries, Might be another 2-3 week, Did we want a refund”? No we are patient and will wait. Chased again, no reply, follow up chasing them again to be told “we are still having difficulties with suppliers, we don’t know when this might be resolved ” Told them “I couldn’t believe that they were having these difficulties, and asked who the makers of the facia boards were” Decided that after a month of being fobbed off and messed about all the while with my money in their bank, that I’d had enough and would like a full refund”
Then what do I find Trust Pilot full, FULL of stories almost word for word the same. This company is either totally incompetent and needs to cease trading OR they are SCAMMERS and they need to be shut down. Safe to say after all the emails back and forth, a quick note to PayPal and my refund was back in my acccount witching 3 minutes. There are 2 morals to this story, 1) ALWAYS pay via PayPal, and 2) Read the reviews BEFORE placing an order. Thank Heavens for Paypal.

Stay clear!

Placed an order (roofing facia boards etc.) on april 21 which should be delivered in 3-5 days... By middle of May the order still hasn't been even shipped and I've been told it's going to be another 2-3 weeks before it's dispatched. Gave me the choice of either waiting or refund. I opted for the refund they sent me refund confirmation, 2 weeks later still haven't received it! Called the credit card company (luckily I've paid with CC) and they said there's no refund on their system, sent them emails across and got my money back this way.
I will never deal with them again and I'm not the only one having these issues... This makes me question how genuine their feedback is! Stay clear!

Avoid

The worst experience of any supplier I have ever had. Here is a brief outline of the timeliness of the experience I had dealing with them:
- soffit & fascias ordered on 8th April
- notified that order was dispatched 10th April
- chased after not being delivered within 5 days, informed issue with supplier will be next week
- end of next week, still nothing, chased and informed there was issue with delivery, will be next week
- no delivery next week, chased, delivery promised for 13th may
- an hour after delivery slot, chased, told there was another issue and will not be delivered today
- asked the for a simple yes or no, can you supply the items I have paid for.
- no response
- chased up, and told order had been passed to accounts for refund
- 10 working days later and nothing, I chased for my refund at 9:50pm, quoted my consumer rights and demanded payment
- within 30 mins a bacs payment notification came up on my account and I had an email saying the payment was showing as refunded... how convenient
- payment cleared two days later

Avoid at all costs. Not convinced this is even a legitimate company based on the fact trustpilot has had to remove lots of fake positive reviews - the only reason I opted for them in the first place.

Terrible experience with Plastic Hub

Terrible experience with Plastic Hub – avoid at all costs

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Plastic Hub. I placed an order on March 31st, totaling £797.65, and I have neither received the goods nor a refund.

Their customer service is virtually non-existent – no one answers the phone, and email replies only contain empty promises about issuing a refund. Weeks have gone by with no real action or resolution.

It feels like I’ve been completely ignored and possibly scammed. This company is highly unprofessional and unreliable. I strongly advise others to stay away from Plastic Hub. Based on my experience, they cannot be trusted with your money.

PLEASE DONT ORDER, YOU WONT GET ANYTHING

Same as most people placed a order, nothing arrived, I emailed them and they said supplier issues which seams to be there same response to everyone, asked for refund, 10 days now passed and still no refund, I can't believe a company with so many bad reviews can still be allowed to advertise on Google. I'm Gona try contacting banks fraud department to see if I can get my money back back

SERIOUSLY POOR SERVICE

My order of fascia and guttering products at near £500 was placed on the 8th April. I chased them on the 13th April for an estimated delivery, they confirmed back del would be on the 17th and apologised for the slight delay. I then contacted the company again on the 17th, 22nd & 23rd to be told delivery would be sometime the following week. I was offered a full refund and it was confirmed on the 24th. After 10-working days I had to contact them again ask where the refund was. Then on the 9th May they replied stating it would be a further 5-10 working days due to an apparent miscommunication with their finance partner Stripe. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE, POOR SERVICE IN ALL DEPARTMENTS.
I have LOST all TRUST in this shower and have referred this back to my bank who are now dealing with it.
Update: My card provider have refunded my account and are dealing with it as a disputed transaction.

Awful service

As a lot of others, I ordered some products on a 3-5 day delivery. Received nothing, I then contacted the company who told me there was a problem with the supplier. Gave them the benefit of doubt and waited, still nothing. At no point did they contact me first with updates. Finally, after just under 3 weeks of waiting, I asked for a refund which still hasn’t come through after nearly 2 weeks.

Edit: Refund promised within 5 - 10 working days. It’s been 10 working days and still no refund.
