Issue 1. Toilet plumbed through air brick waste going onto front garden.
Issue 2. New wide skirting board fitted in living room over existing small skirting packed out with blue paper roll and newspaper and gap filled with filler!! That became very obvious once wet n soaked from flood!! Photo evidence available.
Issue 3. Rubbish plumbing in roof new pipe work joined to old pipework all fitted above insulation in huge roof space not lagged... Whilst in hospital with a brain anerysm all ceilings came down... Cock up after cock up four months out of property uninhabitable! before moving back in living in one.

Told to claim via their insurers for the 4000.00 spent in replacing my items that were damaged.. To be advised today they are only just beginning to look into case and doubt I will be reimbursed... Public naming and shaming I feel may be the way forward.. Decent tenants paying alot of rent should not be out of pocket and suffering such stress, just to get back what they have had to spend out of their hard earned money to replace their belongings... When none of the damage done was through any fault of theirs. Shocking shocking shocking!!!!!

I am making enquiries into whether there is a Government body, or other, that will investigate a housing association for possible fraudulent activity. Such is my fear and distrust of this company.

If I could leave zero stars then I would. Absolutely appalling company. For them to have ‘retirement properties’ is an absolute joke. Unfortunately my grandad lived in one of these properties and he had several ongoing problems. My mum had tried to contact them so many times you either get put through to a useless machine or your stuck on hold for hours on end and then nothing. I even wrote emails complaining but they literally don’t care. My only advice to anyone thinking of renting a property from this company is don’t! Avoid if you can!

Rang twice each time over 40 minutes on the phone no action has taken.
Their contractors turn up at 6am in the morning to demolish bathrooms in next door very noisy workers up to now three days i lost my sleep also their van is on the grass parked in front of my house.

Honestly the worst organisation I’ve ever had to deal with. They arrange appointments and don’t turn up and also don’t let you know. They DO NOT deal with antisocial behaviour, they will literally keep shutting you down so that you drop it. They’re absolute cowards. Tenancy agreement May as well be null as the antisocial section seems to not apply to my neighbours - oh we’ll talk to them, they’ve been spoken to so many times! They DO NOT get back to you, so then you spend hours and I’m not exaggerating, I mean hours on the phone trying to get through to the call centre. If you want to speak to someone specific, you have to book an appointment literally weeks in advance and guess what, they never call! Or if they do, it’s on a day that was not mutually agreed and then you start the call centre process again 🙃
I’ve had no neighbourhood officer basically since I moved in, so no one deals with your issues. I know times are hard when it comes to renting but please rent from another housing group if you can! I’m not sure what platform workers do day to day but it’s not help it’s tenants, that’s for sure. Currently waiting for the housing ombudsman to reply so I can instruct a solicitor. They replied on google to contact them and let them know about the ASB, I HAVE MATE, BEEN DOING IT SINCE 2020!
43 year old kitchen still waiting for a new one even won’t pass the fire hazard
I moved in 2020 when I sign the agreement was told I would have a new kitchen . 18 mths later still no kitchen . Rang up yet a again told it will be another 18 mths .. then last year I put a complaint in etc a bloke came out said oh yes you need a new kitchen my kitchen been in 43 year now .. he went away rang me back after a hour and said I would have a new kitchen by the end of the year .. I let ringing to find out what was happening heard nothing . Sent a complaint yet again
Told I’m not on the system to have a new one now til 24/25 .. the person who wrote. Ack to me asking me to provide details of the person who came round and name n number I was like you got all the details right in front of you who came out .. I sent her the number and name I said mick .. then she replied you got the name wrong it is Mike that was very rude of her .. then to be told I’m not having one now and please accept £100 as sorry .. my kitchen will not pass the fire hazard and on the gov . It says by law kitchen much be replaced after 25 years well mine haven’t … the amount of phone calls and emails I’ve been sending since I’ve moved is is really bad .. they don’t ring you up to let you know what’s happening at all . But you one day late on your rent you get a phone call text and a letter within the one day … they have not fellowed to the agreement what I sign when I moved in yes ok Covid happen .. but you can’t make me await another 2 years and might be more than that .. so this matter isn’t finished . Think they can just give you the money and it be the end of that

Shame I had to put 1 star. This is the most disorganised company I have ever had the misfortune to have to deal with. Thankfully I have moved out now. The rent is extortionate. Nobody fixes anything. The warden puts leaflets through the door to say she has called but doesn't even knock the door. You cannot get hold of anybody in accounts but they will call to say I owe rent which I don't...and can prove it. Shambolic disgrace. I am still getting stupid messages from them now , even though I left at the end of last year...which shows how ridiculous the company is.

Absolutely AWFUL! This is the second time this year my boiler has broke down, once in the winter where they left us for weeks with no hot water or heating in the middle of JANUARY with three small children one of which has a high needs autism. I call today because once again my boiler is broken and being it’s a Sunday I call up out of hours, to be told because it’s the summer months it’s not an emergency?? To then be told I have to boil my kettle in the middle of a cost of living crisis? They DO NOT CARE, completely rude, incompetent and cannot fathom the idea of communication.
The engineers are top tier!! One engineer refused to go to the next client until my boiler was sorted and couldn’t believe how they had left us!
Friendly Staff, Long Waiting Times
The staff behind this company are always very polite and nice when they come out, the time it takes to get anything done is their downside and you can't really trust appointment times as they chop and change. Every experience I've had with a person otherwise has been wonderful and the work carried out has been excellent!

I have been a tenant for over 6 years and never been so miserable in my entire life, mental health of myself and lots of my neighbours has declined massively since living within one of these properties ... repairs take months and months to assess and complete. Disparities of over £100 per month for exactly the same house, and when questioned were told "you can't discuss your rent arrangements with each other" ???? We can absolutely discuss as we please thank you Platform. I and many others have been racially abused, harassed, received damage to properties by teens that are left to run riot on the estate, which we've reported to Platform, Police, Council etc... So many lovely tenants have had to abandon their homes to get away from this harassment, but Platform are based so far away they do not visit unless pushed to do so by the police and they've done zero to assist in when anything is raised - I don't even know who the housing officer is as they simply don't communicate with you at all?! If you are seeking trauma from your living arrangements, accommodation and landlord, then I highly recommend this housing association, otherwise I beg you to stay clear of these money grabbing monsters.

Consider also since the lowest score you can give is 1 then in reality they score 0.6 out of 4, not 1.6 out of 5.

Recently had the misfortune of my housing association house being sold to Platform.
They tell me I am in rent arrears - I am not and never have been.
Letter I receive tells me to go to their online portal to set up my rent payment for which I need a tenancy number. Have they supplied a tenancy number? of course not
I try ringing and am number 48 in the queue, so select the option for a call back. Do I get a call back?? of course not
I email and never get any response.
Find an email for an actual person, 4 days for a reply
Get a letter advising they want to visit, letter arrives the afternoon before the morning visit. Does it cover the legal minimum 24 hours written notice?? does it heck
Day of visit, very nice staff member turns up and agrees with all my complaints. While he was here a second staff member turned up to do the same visit
Next day I get an email advising they want to visit in two weeks, the same visit I had yesterday. I refuse this visit as its a total waste of my time
Their administration systems are appalling and they are impossible to contact.
Absolute shambles of a housing…
Absolute shambles of a housing association. I've had an on going mould and damp issue for years to be continually fobbed off and told it was what I was doing at home. Until 1 guy that worked for platform told me it's the exterior of the building. I had appointments booked for roofing and wall insulation that these people didn't stick too. I've had to replace carpet and throw out out bedside tables that got caught up in the mould growth. It's been a constant battle and a strain on my mental health. Avoid at all cost!!

This company could have ended my life....To be brief, whilst doing Major refurbishment of my property they caused a gas leak by someone putting a nail through a gas pipe, Gas was leaking into my loft for 7wks. This was the time when a boiler service was due, when the gas fitter done the pressure checks he had a full drop on his meter and came running in and asked if i had got the cooker or something on, I said no the only gas is for heating, He then said you have a major leak and that he would have to cap the gas meter. I was left in the cold for over a week. I am currently going through the housing ombudsman. This happened in oct 2021 it is now feb 2023 and still going on. they also damaged light fittings and ceiling ripped all the loft Insulation up to find the leak and is still piled up in the loft and my heating bills are getting higher. plus much much much more and they do not give a damn.

Had a letter to say my kitchen was finally getting refurbished. i was given 1 weeks notice to get everything out which i did while holding a full time job with 3 children at home work was to start Thursday 9th Feb i waited all day no on turned up i rang and they said someone would still be coming, Still no one turned up got a call 5pm to say they now would come the Friday which they did ripped the whole kitchen out then the following monday the electricians come and moved all my sockets (moved them behind where the cupboards would be going) so have completely messed that up and Since last monday no work no kitchen no means to cook wash clothes or anything i am normally a well minded person but this is taking a toll on my mental health booked time of work and wasted holidays, money on takeaways and thr not knowing from 1 day to the next if someone is coming is really getting me down i have had kitchen refurbishments in old housing association houses and never been left this long between workmanship being done i am absolutely disgusted and will be contacting the housing ombudsman tomorrow

I think even 1 star is too much for Platform Housing. They expect tenants to move into flats which are long past any updating and refurbishment. Mould in bathroom and kitchen and the sound of rats scurrying within the building. Absolute disgrace and a health hazard. Staff are totally disinterested in helping, that’s if you even get through. Avoid Platform Housing if you can, but if you are in need of a home expect the lowest of the low in quality and you will not be disappointed!!!

Platform has not been the best lately where repairs are concerned but on this occasion I have to praise the young lad that dealt with a problem on the “ online chat”. I am disabled and got no water and he went above and beyond to help. He called several times to see if I was okay as I was distraught. Platform you should be proud of your employee Jordan Smith you will never know how helpful he was, he’s a credit to your company.
