14 days without hot water and still none. 12 days without heating, outside temperature below freezing. 22nd in the telephone waiting list got to number 12 then cut off. No one in the organisation puts the head above the parapet, no one in the firm dare leave a direct contact number or email. You have one telephone number for emergencies same number for accounts,sales,complaints. How on earth this firm got the contract to service these properties is behond me. The telephone answer message recorded by the CEO tells us how the care and strive to provide a better service, what a load of rubbish, she has no idea what’s going on around her, she’s happy sitting in her warm office and drawing a huge salary, shame on you woman. I could go on and on but what’s the point I forget I’m dealing with a bunch of faceless tosses.

Calling on behalf of a shared ownership tenant and friend, who doesn't speak or understand English fluently.
1hr 15 mins on hold, started at position 17, now at 3. Was 8th in queue for 1/2 hour, suggesting only one person manning the phones.
No apparent way to email company either - I've had plenty of time to try this.
One star is the least I could leave. Zero is truer picture.

Customer service absolutely stinks. We moved out of our Platform house and they still took our rent...I have been chasing up for weeks now. Can't get through on phone as queue is 18 deep call back service not efficient, called several weeks ago nothing has been done....awful awful company. Rude .

Waiting since February for damp and mould to be addressed. Having to sleep in my living room again now as asthma and sinuses suffering again. Nice that disabled tenants are ignored and fobbed off most of the time. Lack of communication in this company from higher up. Lack of concern for the health and well-being of their tenants but have a pot of 1.4 million for charities to apply for funding for health and well-being in the community. Oh the irony. Please avoid this housing association like the plague.

I really didn’t want to leave any stars but I couldn’t comment otherwise. Platform housing are a joke,they have no interest in any of their tenants even the most vulnerable,the repairs are shoddy and our housing officer is totally inept to do her job. Steer clear of this disgusting company is my advice.

The Engineer came to my address to service the boiler last Friday he said there is nothing wrong with it Monday morning the was off had no hot water or heating I phoned Rooftop Monday afternoon after work platform came out yesterday morning they couldn't fix it so they had to order a part I have no heating just hot water phoned Rooftop today they said they will get back to me

So week 5 with no lift at jarrom court. No washing machines or dryers working so we are forced to walk to another property to wash our clothes which we have pay for. It’s very exhausting when you want to clean, take bins out or even wash clothes. I have problems with my back and having to walk up stairs everyday for 5 weeks has not helped in any way. Platform housing are absolutely disgusting. 1 hour on the phone to speak to someone. You never hear from them
In regards to repairs being made around the buildings ever but as soon as you miss a rent payment or you’re in arrears they are on you non stop and suddenly agents are available. I hate living in the Lenon building as it’s unattractive, smelly and no effort has been made to re paint the walls filled with shoe prints and dirty stains, the stairs are dirty and old, the lift is always dirty and breaking down every few months. I absolutely hate it here and would rather live in a hostel than this sh!thole..

I wouldn’t even give them one star! Terrible experience with them. I have had a on going water leak that they have come out a few times saying they have repaired it when clearly they haven’t, now my skirting boards and flooring has gone mouldy and the smell is horrendous and they still just keep sending different people out to take pictures wasting all of our time. We are currently left with a mouldy bathroom that we currently unable to use with 2 small children and told to strip wash our body in our down stairs sink for a further 10 days when someone apparently will come to fix the leak and repair the rotton bathroom. They shouldn’t be allowed to be landlords all the terrible reviews say it all really.

Not been in property for 1 year had to deal with a leak damp mold an the staff saying we will get the engineer to come out an check an nothing had to wait nearly 6months for them to fix my bedroom they said they coming to replaster the bathroom witch also leaked the staff are useless to say the least if anyone is thinking of going with platform Housing group stay away as they don't care about there tenants nor there properties.

Shocking. Lost for words to be honest. Almost a year has passed now and the same complaints are still ongoing. Offered a silly amount as compensation and even though it's been agreed nothing has been done,no refund has been offered for the service charge that's been paid over £20 a month for a year. Nothing has been done but they want paying for it? Lived with non stop noise and mess for a year on a building site. Not the decency to respond to the complaints raised that were supposed to have been discussed two weeks ago with the house builders Barratt. Not really sure what to add. Shocking!

When it used to be DeMontfort Housing it was great. I am working for a living and lost numerous days of annual leave because of not kept appointments. Because the rent is cheap I give 1 star but you might consider to do your own repairs or get a contractor to do it for you as it is Still cheaper than private rental properties. Depending on your contract you may be charged furniere charges. I have paid approximately £4.000 over the last 10 years and needed one fridge with £170 so it’s definitely not good value for your money. Make sure tenancy agreement doesn’t have a furniture charge.

absolute Joke of a company, I have lived in this house since 2011 and I have a list of problems as long as your arm that need resolving by Platform and they never get resolved, usually because they send the wrong engineer for the type of job or they never follow up on a job.
1. Gas Boiler - during heavy rain storms water runs down the external pipe through the boiler and drips Muddy brown water on the work surface. I now have plastic tubs underneath the boiler in case of rain. this has been an issue since I moved in and they still have not been able to resolve the issue. One of the engineers sent to look into this issue was a roofer who wasn't gas certified so could not deal with the issue.
2. Mould in Windows and ceiling of my Sons Bedroom - the UPVC have mould growing on them, I clean it off and it comes back within a few days Platforms solution was to send out a leaflet about opening windows and to monitor. when an engineer did attend he was a carpenter who had no knowledge about UPVC Windows and couldn't understand why he was given the job. now booked for a roofer to attend as suspected issue with roof tiles and in the loft. but no one available for 4 months and they need to arrange scaffolding.
3. Cannot use the electric shower whilst the washing machine is on as it makes the water scolding hot.
4. Kitchen sink back fills the washing machine due to how the waste pipe connects to the Sink trap.
5. Light fittings in bedrooms are situated just in front of the windows so create dark areas inside of the bedrooms, Platform will not relocate the light fittings.
There are still others but that is enough for now.

Radiator Valve stuck closed so no central heating took a month to get the part as it was a "Special Order Part" when an identical valve was in stock at Screwfix and could be delivered the next day I even offered to purchase the part myself if they would send an engineer to fit it.
2 weeks without Central heating during the winter of 2018 house was so cold that my children had to stop with their Grandparents and I moved in with my partner whilst waiting for them to get parts and fix the problem.

Would give minus 10. Shocking from day one on so many levels.Don't answer complaints. I were dubious in accepting an housing association property due to bad experiences previously but needs must at that time(only be in the property 6 weeks) but hindsight taught me one thing as soon as I can get out of their property the better. I will never trust housing associations again. They are not for people like me who work 7 days a week and just want to come home and relax. And then have the nerve to increase rent so I paying extortionate money to have no good customer service and a upstairs neighbour whom either has elephant charging about in their flat or just can't walk about without banging 24/7. Local authority and now police informed.

They must improve service & call center. They are very slow to do the jobs done and lot of inexperienced people are working with them and that's why job's don't get done in the proper way and you have to report the same issue again & again.
Finally person called Steven lloyed from Platform housing a well experienced & multi talented plammer, who knows what he's doing👌👍. Did a fantastic job and can't praise enough👍. We had thousands of plammer for the same job, but unfortunately issues were remained the same, till Steven lloyed came & found the issue straightaway. We need plammer like him who can finish the work smoothly with a satisfactory result🙏👌. Bless you & best wishes for you forever🙏.

Turned up at my house on the day after I cancelled my appointment with platform offices.. obviously I wasn’t there because I cancelled..
they capped my Gas off and left me and my 6 year old vulnerable child with no heating & no hot water! and won’t put it back on until they make an appointment to service my boiler! Past from one person to another! Promised call backs never received! The Guy from platform care ( now that’s a total joke ) went home!!

Only been in my property a few months and had nothing but trouble always needing repairs done my wet room is leaking me and my 2 year old son have been left since the 27th of January with no way of washing due to not being allowed to use the wet room and I am still waiting for a repair date just keep being told the planners will be in touch
Dont waste your time
If you ever have a complain about one of there tenant go through your local council because they will do nothing to help someone who is private owned and live next to a platform tenant. Had so many problems with one of there tenant who was allowed to do what they want, when they want, they wonder why so many bad people occupy there houses because they dont want to deal with them and evict them or put a strike against their tenancy, to much of a jobs worth. I dont see the point of even having a housing officer because they are just as bad and do nothing because it would mean them doing their job and doing what they are paid for.
7 months pregnant and they are rude
Shocking I am currently 7 months pregnant and because they are still building the drains have all blocked and they hung up on me after me sitting on phone for 2 hours
