Utterly shocking service - thinking back when I made the booking, alarm bells should have been ringing -
Booking a trip to Krakow was easy enough, but I was then asked 3 times to rate on Trustpilot.
The problems really started before the holiday had begun - I had to phone the day before my departure to remind them to send boarding pass, it was a Ryanair flight so I assume they don’t book the seats until the day before. I had to do this again the day before my return flight.
Really, any traveller shouldn’t have to worry about this whilst on holiday.
Arriving at Krakow, it took 2 hours to get through passport control, by this time, my pre booked private transfer taxi had left. Plus holidays had booked the taxi for the time the aircraft landed. I got a private taxi outside the airport to my hotel, and after numerous emails (which go unanswered) and telephone calls, they have yet to refund the taxi fare.
Arriving at the hotel - Shalem Kamierez I should have been given a code to enter the hotel - Plus holidays hadn’t given the hotel my contact details. After numerous calls to the hotel and Plus holidays, I eventually got in.
I had also paid for a day trip to Auschwitz - with a pick up from the hotel. This wasn’t to be - I cancelled the trip because I had to make my own way to Auschwitz - a 90 minute journey from Krakow, plus the travelling time from hotel to bus/rail station. Again I am still waiting for a refund on this.
I have previously left a hotel review on Trip Advisor, which I have listed a few problems, safety on the hotel staircase, safety of electrical connections, the fact that the breakfast area was a cafe next door - where a top up of coffee wasn’t allowed unless extra was paid. The same goes when asking for orange juice with breakfast - pay extra, whether having coffee or not. I’ve never ever heard the like begire. None of these problems have been replied to when I emailed Plus holidays.
I would really advise anyone thinking on booking with this company, to seek another company, and certainly one that doesn’t ask for Trustpilot reviews to be given.
They only seem to be interested in getting the booking and payment.
Found us a great deal. Easy to use very helpful would definitely recommend and use again

My wife booked this holiday for us and for my birthday especially. As I write this I am in Krakow sitting in a Starbucks drinking coffee when I should be on the Aushwitz tour. All was going well until this morning the day of the trip confirmed pickup 10.15am. Just as a matter of courtesy we telephoned the tour operator to confirm the trip. They informed us they had tried unsuccessfully to contact us the day before to inform us our pickup time was rearranged for 3.30am. We did not receive any correspondence from the company as the email address provided was the Plus Holiday email address. Hence the email went to Plus Holidays who failed to inform us. We are currently waiting a response from Plus Holidays but I think its fair to say this trip is not going ahead as it is now 10.30 local time and my birthday surprise has now been ruined. Avoid this company at all costs if you want to do Aushwitz book directly through the Aushwitz website and forget this joke of a company. Update the customer services from Plus Holiday DID NOT contact us despite assurances they would by 11.30am. Please steer clear of this company.
Kralow with auswiss - DO NOT BOOK THIS TRIP. I am currently sat in krakow in a coffeeshop waiting for someone to contact me from plus holidays. We came here for a 3 night getaway with the tour and the time of our pick up was 10 am today. I called at 7am this morning to check the details and the lady at auswiss tours informed me that they had been trying to contact us all day yesterday via phone and email to tell us our booking time had changed to 3am. Yes thats 3am guys. And then to top it off I asked what number they had been trying to call and what email address and they reeled off the tour operators details which were the details on the booking, not my email address or phone number. We are devastated and nobody could help us in the sales team this morning but were available if we wanted to book another trip. Customer services does not open until 11am by which time half the day will be gone and no chance of the tour before we fly home. I am going to warn everyone to be cautious and have emailed trading standards this morning too.
Such an easy process with Justin, even when dates didn’t suit, it was no issue to change or amend things. Will book again!

I have a company voucher that I want to spend on this platform. I select some dates for 2 nights in a hotel close to a ski slope. There are some hotels available. I wrote to all 6 to ask for reservation and all said they don't have capacity. What a joke.
Everything was explained from start to finish and the advisor was very helpful he even went that extra mile so it was a no brainier not to book, can’t wait to visit Dracula’s Castle, just must remember the garlic!

Plus Holidays service was very good until the booking was made and deposit taken. After that there were ignored emails and calls not returned. When I said I wanted to clarify flight, train and hotel arrangements I was told "Madam you should have done that before" BUT....
There was no discussion about the proximity or quality of hotels - Plus Holidays simply booked whatever they chose and it told when we arrived to basic accommodation situated well outside the cities we were visiting. There was also no discussion about convenient train times.
Also my daughter was booked as a child with Easyjet despite me confirming in writing to Plus Holidays her date of birth making her 20. This meant I was unable to check her in online and had to liaise directly with Easyjet to rectify this. It happened again when I checked in to return home.
I question what value Plus Holidays provided to me - quite the opposite. I had to do more than I would have if booked myself. After this experience I will go back to independent travel without a doubt!

Booked my first solo adventure for later this year so I was feeling quite anxious. Chatted with Mike at plusholiday and he answered all my queries and concerns. He was very helpful and even got me breakfast included. I'm now very excited and hope this will be my first of many solo adventures. Would recommend plusholiday and would use them again for future adventures.
