I had a very positive experience with Diana Javier Castro. She was professional, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire interaction. Diana listened carefully to my concerns, responded promptly, and made sure everything was resolved smoothly. POD Point installation

Overall a good experience, however there is room for improvement regarding customer service, communications and the pre installation survey process.

Communications via e-mail were at times slow prior to installation and the original installation was unsuccessful due to additional remedial works being identified by the engineer prior to installation which were not recognised during the original survey and had to be completed at my own cost - this could have been identified earlier by someone surveying the property in person prior to the install rather than relying on a video survey which I was requested to do myself and send to the team at Pod Point prior to an installation date being booked. The suggested solution from the video survey (which also resulted in an additional charge for
materials/labour) was not suitable due to the wiring of the main fuse box, which was only identified by the engineer on the original date of installation. This led to the installation having to be rebooked at a later date, for which I had to wait a further six weeks despite me promptly having the remedial work undertaken and completed to the required standard.

There was a delay in the engineer arriving on the day of the rescheduled installation which was two hours past the original appointment time provided and was unhelpful given I do shift work (I’d come off a night and cut my sleep short expecting them earlier) but once the engineer arrived, the work was completed promptly and to a high standard. The engineer (Aaron) was also very helpful running through the setup with me and how to control and schedule the charger from the App.

Could not log in to the pod point app.

I phoned Pod point as I could not log in to the App.
Diana Javier Castro answered the call and could not have been more helpfull! She was very patient with me and solved the problem very quickly. First class sevice!

Good customer call handling

Good customer call handling. Am yet to get my podpoint issue resolved, but the agent understood the issue and was able to access their internal diagnostic info to help progress matters. Happy so far!

Generally very good

Generally very good. I have two niggles. One is that it took so long between first contact and payment, and installation. The second is that while the installing engineer was very good, he left without connecting the pod point to the app for us - or even explaining that he hadn't done it.

We had issues getting the car to charge…

We had issues getting the car to charge after a change in WiFi provider. We had to call the out of hours number but the call was answered and dealt with quickly. Apart from this one issue. Not had any other issues with my charger.

Outstanding Customer Service From The Help Centre

My review is specifically regarding a customer service experience, though I have to also say I've been very happy with Pod throughout my interaction from them when I first purchased a home-charger four years ago.

I phone the helpline with a relatively minor query and I was hugely impressed with the service I received from the customer support staff member, Jamella. She took the time to hear my issue and went out of her way to give me both a short-term fix as well as to escalate the matter to the relevant team for a long-term solution. Above all, she was warm, friendly and didn't give me scripted responses.

Not great communication

I emailed to ask to move my installation date because we had booked a last minute holiday. Recieved a response saying the installation had been cancelled and someone would be in touch to re-book. Then got a reminder for my appointment on the original date so had to arrange for someone to be at my house on the day in case they came... which they did. The installation itself went fine and the guy was really helpful.
