Post Office Pet Insurance Reviews 

I searched for a good insurance company for my 2 dogs and after seeing their reviews I went with the post office insurance group.
13 days after taking out our insurance one of my dogs became really ill so we took her straight to the vets to be told she has lymph nodes cancer and she had to sadly be put to sleep, my baby was only 6yrs old and had never been ill so we were absolutely devastated. I made the claim and thought it was all sorted HOWEVER, we was told the claim had been rejected as you can not claim after 14 days and we claimed 8hrs to early.
I have begged and pleaded that if they could possibly except the claim as when I took it out I had absolutely no idea that 13 days later I would lose my dog, the vet even wrote to them but they still refused and not answering any of my emails and now we have a £900 bill and no help.
I can not believe that 8hrs had made this much impact and they have refused to help with anything, we are truly heartbroken losing my baby girl, stressed because we have to try and find that money and very angry how we have been treated. I will be looking for another insurance company yet again

Post office pet insurance is a scam.
After paying 3 years,they refused my claim.You need that your dog to be vaccinated with substances "aproved"by them.
Probably a mix of holly water and virgin blood.As i said,pure scam.

Quick easy and very good price

The online claim was very straightforward, all questions were easily answered including details of present vet AND previous vet. However the claims department failed to communicate with the previous veterinary practice properly so I received several messages and letters saying that the claims department could not get treatment information from my previous veterinary practice. They failed to explain to them that I was a previous client. That vet had no existing treatment information because they, of course, had filed me into Previous Clients. This led to weeks of delays before the claims department paid me. Basically they need staff with a bit of intelligence who don’t just follow the “ procedure “ I won’t recommend them to anyone!

Stupid amount of emails , bombarding you almost everyday!! I’ll contact when I need you that’s how insurance works! You don’t need to keep telling me you’re there!

I was surprised how easy it was to ly insure my 2 cats and a very reasonable price monthly, I did have insurance for them but the post office is a lot cheaper, so I am very happy that I decided to switch

The service we recieved was second to none and the price was extremely good for the package recieved. The price was in line with meeting the needs of our pet. Thankyou we would recommend the post office pet insurance to anyone the price was very good and met the service we needed at the time .

First class experience; claim paid within 10 days after our lovely dog Cora ate a toxic plant, she is much better after the treatment from the emergency vet.

The settings up was straight forward and easy to follow. Very pleased so far.

Nice and straight forward, and good price.

Honestly really happy with the service, my dog got hold of my inhaler and got poisoning from this needed emergency vets anyway couple grand down and all paid paid within 2 weeks, they never caused me any problem was straight forward. I don’t know if the process differs with larger amounts but they was really good with me personally

Exactly as insurance should work. My dog went down with sudden onset vomiting and rapid dehydration, requiring a couple of nights at the vet hospital. I paid the bill, informed the insurance company, and 5 days later the money was back in my account. You could not ask for more.

Easy to use, easy to apply. Great cover for an equally great price.
