I ordered a laptop for my son for his birthday from powerimp electronics LTD. The tracking number they gave me was not a valid tracking number and I could not track my item. I contacted them regarding this matter and was ignored. I waited over 2 weeks to recive my sons laptop, I had been constantly reaching out to powerimp electronics with no luck untill I said I am getting the police involved. Then I received a email saying they had been in a accident and was in hospital but he has said this to other people in the reviews. When I did finally recive the laptop it was boxed and wrapped horrible, and my son tried to play a low graphics game on this laptop was a gaming laptop acer predator and yet it was struggling playing this low graphics game called Re:Legend. The GPU that is supposed to be in this gaming laptop either broken or is none existent and he is refusing to give me a refund for it saying the returns has run out. This is still an ongoing situation as I type this, I would completely avoid this site and run to the hills so you dont have to go through what me and others have gone through.

I appreciated how straightforward everything was. The laptop was in excellent condition, set up properly, and didn’t come loaded with unnecessary software. It’s working exactly as expected for daily tasks and light work.
Customer support stood out the most for me. They answered my questions clearly before purchase and were just as helpful afterward. It’s rare to find that level of honest and patient assistance these days.
Great option if you’re looking for dependable refurbished tech. The laptop performs well, stays stable under regular use, and arrived quicker than expected. Overall, a practical and cost-effective choice.
Happy with my purchase from Powerimp. Highly Recommeded!
AVOID: Also, as this company will no doubt try to soften my review with the usual responses, I have digital and photographic evidence of everything should anyone wish to see it, to show my review is accurate and fair.
This company are appalling.
25th Feb: Ordered a Dell G15 i7 laptop and paid extra for upgrading from 512GB SSD to 1TB plus extra RAM from 16GB to 32GB.
28th Feb: The laptop should have been received by now (according to their website) but instead I was only now being graced with a Yodel tracking number.
5th March: After still not seeing any movement via Yodel, I finally get a communication to say (and you'll never guess...) they had been in hospital...just like other excuses given to other reviews left at entirely different times. Was advised my laptop was on route to the post office.
6th March: Yodel still showing as awaiting parcel from sender. So, I contact Powerimp to clarify how this was the case given it was on route to the post office the day before. I also queried that the upgrades above have been made. The response contained nothing about the "on route" point, and simply said yes that the 1TB SSD and 32GB RAM upgrades were done plus a "an extra present"
9th March: (12 days after ordering) I finally received a recycled tired looking box and the laptop. I have photographs to prove what im about to say: Imagine my concern when I opened the laptop and saw i5 sticker. Thats odd I thought, I bought an i7. So I went in to check and sure enough, an i5. Next, yes the 32GB RAM was complete. But, the SSD was only 512gb and I verified this. Here's the best bit, the extra present was a 128gb SSD. Still only tallying to 640GB far from the 1TB I paid for. And yes, I checked to see if two separate SSD's or split ones, but no. I write to Powerimp detailing my disgust at my experience
10th March: Response from Powerimp stating that their health is the reason for the poor service and the sending of the wrong laptop. They offered £10 for me to return the laptop, however knowing I was dealing with a sub standard company, I had already paid £80 for a fully insured and tracked, signed for, return of this laptop. I promptly advised Powerimp of this return and that they will receive the laptop before Friday 13th March.
The response to the above, was to offer me a £100 refund for the i5 vice i7 and that they didnt understand what I meant by SSD not being 1TB
Again,I advise Powerimp that I need to be crystal clear in that I've returned the laptop.
11th March: Powerimp respond by saying "Sorry, is it only 512GB in the laptop?" Further advising me to open "My computer" and send him pictures. Pictures that I already attached on 10th March.
I respond by asking if he is actually reading my emails...I have sent the laptop back 36 hours ago, by this point.
The response from Powerimp??...."Type disk utility in the windows search....." Yet again, proof my emails aren't being read
Then I get another email with nothing but a mobile number. I ring them within 15 minutes. After a quick summary of "I dont have the laptop, its on itd way back to you" I get them to confirm that my full refund of £1126.99 is going to be paid. He said yes, as soon as he receives the laptop back. By this point that should be within the next 48hrs.
12th March: I receive confirmation of the goods being received by Powerimp so I write to advise of this and that I look forward to getting my money back now.
13th March: After no response, I ask for acknowledgement of the above point and again for my money back. No response received
16th March: I send another email this time advising of a final notice before action and that under Consumer Rights Act, I am entitled to this money, and failure.to do so within the next 7 days will result in starting formal action via my bank, Trading Standards, and County Court Claims.
No response received.
23rd March: Deadline reached and start a chargeback process via my bank.
27th March (Today): Have written one final email to advise legal action imminent to get my money back and strongly suggest Powerimp resolve this within 48hrs. I have also advised Trading Standards and will be starting a county court claim by Tuesday 31st March if nothing received.
This company are appalling. Clearly a one man outfit who cannot have the capital to refund customers. As I say, I know they will try to soften this with whatever on their website etc etc. All Ill say is, I have video and photo proof and digital evidence of everything I have said and I am more than happy to share it.
Absolutely disgusting service. I feel so strongly about this that this is my first ever review as I dont normally do this. But please, take heed and seriously consider if this is the sort of company you want any dealings with.

Excellent computers and great service. Always ready to help if anything goes wrong. Highly recommended.
Day 1 (Feb 20)ordered Laptop
Day 2 Checked on delivery schedule 2 business days
Day 4 Followed up on delivery - advised I would receive a tracking number the next day
Day 5 Tracking number received - Checked and order not scheduled to be sent via Yodel until the following week.
Day 12 4th March Laptop delivered, upgraded spec but missing ordered 1tb ssd drive plus one of the keyboard keys was faulty. Requested a refund. There followed an email conversation of the company trying to convince us to keep laptop, to the point of offering us an insulting amount of cash to keep it. Advised them no, we want our money back.
Returned laptop with Tracking number. Day 24 not heard a peep from them. Please avoid
Update 26/03/26 01:23
Ten days after the laptop was delivered back to Powerimp and after this review I received an email from them apologising for the delay and citing personal reasons for the delay. It also said the return had been received and will be completed shortly.
This was followed up by a second email the next day saying the refund is being processed and will be completed shortly. (Also could I remove the review)
I left another more detailed review on Google and the next day a third email followed disputing all the information in the reviews and also announcing that there was damage to the laptop screen that was identified after it was received.
There followed an flurry of emails with no positive outcome. I've kept images of the laptop before sending it back and all correspondence. I will wait with baited breath to see what happens next.

I used their services and was successful experience.
Was bit nervous buying refurbished laptop but experience was good. Laptop works fine, no hidden problems so far. Description matched what I received. Value for money.
I had a few questions before buying the laptop and contacted customer support first. They were patient and took time to explain everything in a simple way, not rushing me or pushing to buy. This helped me decide what model would be best for my needs. The laptop arrived in good condition, well packed and ready to use. For a refurbished unit the battery health was better than I expected, which was a nice surprise. Overall the laptop matches the description and works as it should. Based on this experience I would use this shop again and recommend it to others looking for refurbished laptops
Purchased a PC for home use and light gaming. Everything arrived set up already, just plugged and used it. Performance is good for the price. Had one small question and support replied same day.
Bought a refurbished laptop for work and overall very happy. Laptop came clean, ready to use and exactly as described. Delivery was faster than I expected. Support answered my questions before shipping which was helpful.
I left detailed delivery instructions to the courier on where to leave the package. My flat in on the third floor, all they had to do was ring the buzzer and walk up the stairs to leave it at the doorstep, but instead they chucked it on the ground at the bottom of the stairs where anybody could have just nabbed it. I was very lucky to have it delivered on a Saturday, as it would have likely been stolen if I hadn't been home. The delivery also takes much longer than the website specified.
The laptop itself works alright, it was a hassle to factory reset it to get the Powerimp profile off of the laptop which was stopping me from signing in. Aside from that, it seems to run alright now.
I'll give this two stars because of the laptop alone running very decent for the price, but I would not recommend buying one if your housing situation is similar to mine, as the delivery could easily be mishandled and stolen.

Fantastic service from Powerimp Electronics Ltd. They were really understanding of my situation and went out of their way to work around me being away with work. Communication was clear, the service was reliable, and they made the whole process easy and stress-free. It’s rare to find a company that’s this flexible and accommodating. Highly recommended!
The laptop arrived 2 weeks late which was frustrating. Although I was sent a mouse for this delay.
I paid extra for a hardisk ssd 1T but received only half the storage.
I was compensated 40 pounds for this Although I would have preferred the storage which I paid for.
The speaker sizzled and make crazy noise when volume goes more than half. I was offered a remote session to fix this, but I got this sorted elsewhere in the end.

This review is based on my experience communicating with Powerimp on behalf of my partner, who purchased a laptop from them. I support her as her carer, and she relies on me to handle stressful communication. That was made clear to the company early on in the process.
A key issue arose regarding the laptop’s storage drive not matching the option selected at purchase. When I raised this, the discussions became difficult and prolonged. In my view, the process to resolve the issue felt more complicated than it needed to be. I had hoped that the situation could be handled in a straightforward and supportive way, particularly because returning the item would have caused inconvenience and distress for my partner.
When further communication was sent to my partner directly, after it had already been explained that such contact caused her medical stress, this resulted in significant distress for her. That incident, for us, was the point at which dialogue broke down entirely.
From my perspective, the overall interaction did not feel constructive or supportive, and it caused us both a considerable amount of stress. Because of this, I am leaving this review so others are aware of our experience. All emails and communications are retained and can be provided to Trustpilot if required.
The company’s response does not reflect the documented correspondence from December 2023 to November 2025 or the issues I actually raised. I have already provided my final response directly to them following their formal letter, and I will not be engaging further on this platform.
Clarification:
This review concerns my direct experience of communication with the company on behalf of the purchaser, including the impact of that communication on a disabled individual. It is not intended to determine commercial terms, refund policy, or technical specifications, which remain disputed and documented separately.

Let me preface by saying that I bought a laptop from this company in December 2023 as a gift for my partner and frankly, I am very fed up with them at this moment in time!
Since purchasing the laptop, my partner did have personal correspondence back and forth to try to resolve the issues between themselves, which is fine. He was the recipient of the gift, I was just the one who bought the laptop for him for Christmas that year.
However, here is where we have an issue. I received an e-mail of a review my partner left on Trustpilot last year, completely unbeknownst to me. I had zero involvement with the company other than purchasing the laptop for my partner! So I received an e-mail in July last year, probing for information about my partner. They were complaining about his Trustpilot review to me (which has since been revised to appease this company) and then followed up by asking for personal information regarding my partner. They asked "Are you related to (insert partner's name here), and are you involved in all of this? Is his full name (insert partner's name here)? Where does he work?"
I found this e-mail highly distressing and as I am a disabled and vulnerable person, I forwarded it to my partner to deal with. Due to this distress stemming from a review, my partner wrote them an e-mail telling them they should not contact me again regarding the review and any issues regarding the purchase, which I now regret as I'm extremely unwell because of this!
Then on the 4th of November 2025, my partner and I were sent an e-mail that started with "This correspondence serves as a formal notice from Powerimp Electronics LTD regarding the defamatory and misleading statements published by Mr (partner's name) on Trustpilot concerning our company and its staff." It went on to state that my partner was not the purchaser of the product in question and that the transaction was solely between myself and the company and therefore my partner "does not hold the legal standing to make claims or publish reviews purporting to be a consumer experience."
This is completely untrue. Anybody who has had a genuine customer experience with a company can leave a review of them. As per Trustpilot themselves, they state under their "who can write a review" page (and I'm quoting the particular parts that are relevant to my situation:
"Our Guidelines for Reviewers set out that you can review a business if you're over 18 and you've had a recent, genuine experience with the business. It could be:
You had a phone conversation, email correspondence, or online chat. Example: You purchased a TV. After 14 months, the TV breaks, and when you call the company you bought it from to get it fixed, they refuse and say it's the responsibility of the manufacturer. You can write a review of the retailer about your experience with their customer service.
You used a business's products or services. Example: You received a bouquet of flowers as a gift from a friend, and the bouquet was delivered to you. You and your friend can review the florist, the flowers, and the courier."
Suffice to say, my partner was completely within his rights to leave a review based on his personal experiences of the company and I should not have been dragged in to the mess between them both.
The aforementioned e-mail stated that my partner needed to:
"Immediately remove or retract the Trustpilot review in full;
Cease from making any further false or misleading public statements about Powerimp Electronics LTD or its staff;
Confirm in writing within 7 days that these actions have been completed."
And that:
"Failure to comply may result in formal legal action being initiated, including but not limited to a Defamation Claim, submission of a Cease and Desist Order, and notification to Trustpilot’s legal team for permanent removal and account restriction."
I was sent this e-mail. I have had absolutely no conversation with this company since I purchased the laptop in question in December 2023. This was an issue between Powerimp and my partner, the person who used the product that was gifted to him.
They were told to leave me alone. I only purchased the laptop as a gift and I got dragged in to their mess as they wanted information on my partner and it is incredibly stressful and unfair and frankly I have had enough of it now. Stop. I am extremely stressed, I am a disabled and vulnerable adult and I was just trying to buy my partner a Christmas present. I read the reviews at the time and I thought they were okay. I was trying to save a bit of money and do something nice for my partner. However, nearly 2 years later, I have been e-mailed by this company.
Based on my personal experience, I found dealing with this company extremely stressful and I wouldn't recommend them

Just bought my Levono all in one pc, took a tad longer to arrive than expected, but was kept informed all the way, first class service and a great product, works perfectly.
Would highly recommended.
The laptop has finally arrived and all is well, upgraded the GPU which was very nice. Good price but slow delivery took nearly 2 weeks to come.
