disappointed

I was so excited when I ordered this product, when I finally got it almost 3 months after I placed the order. The first time I used it I was disgusted. It didn't do what it said it would do,the lid popped off during cooking. Very dissatisfied.

Pressure Cooker OK, Customer Service not so good!

I don't believe that I received the Pressure Cooker I ordered. It doesn't look like the one I saw ot TV. Also the books that were advertised were not shipped customer service reply was that they don't have them any more and cannot supply. The manual is not very well written and when I asked for some help from customer service to use the pressure cooker, they were unable or unwilling to give it. The pressure cooker itself works ok but the transaction in which I bought it was not very good.

Received wrong product

It's hard to give a review when you didn't get the product you bought. I did not receive the XL. Haven't even gotten it out of the box.

Definitely NOT what they advertise but an okay product.

1st of all it is MUCH smaller than they lead you to believe. I spent over 30 minutes on the phone to place my order because they kept trying to sell me every upgrade, magazine subscription, this special, that special, everything they could think of to try and sell. It was VERY ANNOYING! Then the product came. It is pretty small and can only hold one good size rack of ribs cut in pieces. Definitely not two full rack of ribs like advertised. Also, it is very difficult to get it to seal properly and usually takes three or four tries to get it sealed correctly. It can NOT cook a roast to tender and juicy in the time advertised. I tried. It was tough and dry. Even when I tried to double the time it did not come out as described! I thought it would be great and I would use it all the time but I used it a few times, saw that it didn't work like it said and put it away in a cupboard and only use it maybe once a month. WOULD NOT WASTE THAT much money on it if I had know the truth.

This thing does not work and there is absolutely no support to get help!

Received the unit and set it up. Cooked once without a problem and then each time after that the unit simply does not function the way it is supposed to. Tried calling the company to get support, but only got their sales office and it's not eveb a live person. Absolutely no way to get in touch with these people. Now I'm left with a very large paper weight.

Still missing pieces of the cooker after more than 90 days since delivery

I purchase the cooker in April. When it was delivered several of the parts were missing (the instructions guide, measuring cup, and accessory kit), so the product is unusable. I've called 3 times to inquire about the additional parts and they said they are backordered. It's been more than 3 months and I haven't been able to use the machine. I will never order from this company again.

Still haven't completely decided if it is the best!!!!!!

My one option that I could say would really help would be additional recipes that will help to determine if it is the best thing since sliced bread. So please start a web site that will give additional fun recipes for future purchasers of the cooker.

Then maybe!!!!!

I Love this Cooker!

I love this Cooker! My son made a "Thanksgiving Feast" last night for dinner in about 40 minutes start to finish. That included infusing the turkey breast with herb butter as well as all of the sides. Everything we have cooked is done rapidly with none of the flavors lost. I can't wait to use if for canning later this summer.

Terrible customer service!

I ordered and received the Power Pressure Cooker in April. I have called the company numerous times because I didn't receive the cookbook that was promised to come with the cooker. They keep telling me they are sending it but it never comes. I am going to have my payment reversed and see if that has any affect on their lack of customer service. I have not used the cooker....I don't have any instructions either. They had the nerve to tell me to copy it on line. Why would I do that when every other appliance I've ever bought comes with it's own instructions!! I've been a very unhappy customer! The cooker may be wonderful but until I have instructions and recipes I won't know.

Our Family is in love...with an electric pressure cooker!

Can one fall in love with an inanimate object?
This is a philosophical question for the ages.

Having come from a home where a stove-top pressure cooker was a common sight, I had always been intrigued by this object: the sound of the released steam, the perfect tender pinto beans which emerged from it year after year, and the little bobble on the lid that seemed to dance much like a hula-girl---I was an imaginative child.
My older brother is a stovetop pressure cooker aficionado and has earned a place in my heart by making velvety mashed potatoes (in minutes) every Thanksgiving. He bought his flame-propelled unit from a European company. It cost him nearly $300. When I told him about the purchase of my electric pressure cooker, and the price I had paid [ under $200], he said if it worked it was a true deal.
I'll admit it. When I first pulled the cooker out of the box, I was a bit intimidated [ this is a common initial response I have to all electronics]. My daughter even captured the moment on her smart-phone and added a caption to her social media site, quoting me: "The man just kept cooking, and the woman just kept eating." This was in reference to the infomercial [ that I had recorded to show my husband] which had convinced me that this pressure cooker would be a culinary asset in our home.
The first recipe I tried was chicken and potatoes.
I did not cook them long enough.
I repeat...I...did not cook them long enough...I am embarrassed to admit it, but I had not correctly learned to input the cook time, but went forward anyway...this was easily remedied BY AFTERWARDS READING THE INSTRUCTIONS MORE EARNESTLY.
Yes, this was not a good first impression, but as it often goes in relationships, the first impression is not always the BEST impression.

We gave love another try.

My husband made his father's beef stew.
Our entire family swooned.
Next, our 16 year old son made his grandfather's beef stew!
It was as if the floodgate of love opened within our souls.
After vowing to actually read the instructions carefully, I tried my chicken and potato recipe again.
PERFECTION!
Lasagna was the next recipe on my list...The entire contents of the pressure cooker inner chamber were gone BEFORE I COULD HAVE 2nds! Note: We only have 4 people living at home right now. It was really REALLY good!
In short, our family is IN LOVE.
This was indeed a wise purchase.
We're looking forward to many years of happiness in a relationship with this new appliance and the gastronomic joys which will inevitably unfold!
