Really disappointing

I was super excited to order this makeup, as it looked absolutely beautiful. Sadly, it never arrived. I got an email saying I received a refund, which was weird because they never gave a reason why they weren't able to send me the products I'd spent a long time picking out- felt like a heap of time wasted there.
Worst of all, I never got a refund either. I sent them an email asking about it, plus a message on Instagram, but they never replied.

Not received my order

Item took a while to ship so I emailed in to get it sent. I received a reply where they said it would be shipped and arrive by a certain day which it didn’t and on the shipping label it hadn’t even been sent to arrive by the date they told me (it was PLC fault not Royal Mail).

Once the palette did eventually arrive I realised that 6/9 shade were not the ones I ordered. I have been emailing them for almost a month with photo evidence and I have not received any help whatsoever. I would appreciate receiving the products I have paid for. At this point it just seems like a scam as the customer service has not made any attempt to resolve my issue but have happily taken my money.

Customer service has been terrible

Customer service has been terrible, waited over a month for the order in the first place and half was incorrect. Then was told I’d be sent a replacement, and it has been another month and no responses via email. In that time, the rest of the glitters have dried and crumbled and are no longer useable.

Great products - poor and slow service

Ladies! I love the products. But I waited a month for my order to arrive :-( then when I got it - 2 of 4 items was missing from the order (the flat brush and a chrome liquid eyeshadow)
I have emailed twice and are getting no answer…. Please - it is not okay.

HORRIBLE

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE BUYER BE WARE!!! To start I made my purchase at the beginning of December, order the customisable palate, ordering 9 shades and their flat brush... they use the slowest carrier service ever. Finally get my package 2 days before Christmas excited for my gift to self, to find I had a couple of the same colors and no brush. I immediately send a email and a picture to show these colors aren't as vibrant and received as the same colors, they also aren't as vibrant as seen on the site or Instagram. They respond a couple days later (being understanding due to the holiday.) When they respond back they apologized and asked if I wanted a refund or the correct merchandise I said my correct merchandise, I said the merchandise. It's now 1/19/24, still no replacement products and the communication is poor, when they do respond they act as if your bothering them when you (meaning them) have my money and I don't have what I've paid for. I keep asking for a tracking number so I no longer have to deal with them still haven't received it. It's simple right if you've sent something provide proof. This company is a sham, I'm also going on every complaint site and the BBB. As a business owner my self... your only as good as your last happiest customer and they are horrible.... Do your research there are other companies you can spend your money with.

SO AWFUL IT’S COMICAL

MY ORIGINAL REVIEW WAS DELETED!

Do not EVER order from this company. The glitter is SO overpriced and cheaply made. I ordered a custom 9 palette with the application brush. 3 of the pallets were broken and the brush was not included.

But sadly that’s not even what bothers me HAHA

I waited WEEKS for an update on shipping. I emailed them numerous times, sent them so many IG messages and then finally contacted my bank. But, I kept sending PLC emails and IG messages hoping to get a response. Eventually, I started spam commenting on their IG posts because I didn’t know what else to do. And hey, guess what?! It worked. I got a (nasty) response through DMs.

Their response and how I was treated was SO AWFUL! They gaslighted me, straight up lied, laughed at me, told me they’d dispute my bank, etc. They sent screenshots of emails that were sent to my “spam”… but I never received those emails and I told them that immediately. But they didn’t listen. They didn’t care or even try to understand at all. It was just all my fault 🤗

Here’s their response to me through IG DMs to give you an idea of how this company treats their customers. This is after I sent numerous emails, 9 DMs and finally made many public comments.

PLC: “Hi, can you please check your spam mail as you’ve been sent a number of emails.”

ME: “I need the tracking number. I have sent multiple emails and have not received a response, so no… I have not been sent “a number of emails”

PLC: “Yes you have. Your tracking number has been sent to your email. You’ve been sent over 4 emails in total.”

ME: “This has been an awful experience and y’all have terrible customer service. I will not be buying from you again and have reported y’all to my bank”

PLC: “How is the customer service terrible when you have failed to check your spam mail? Glad we sent your order tracked so we can dispute this with the bank because that is extremely fair if you failed to check your spam box.“

(PLC then sends a few screenshots of email delivery - but like I told them to begin with, I DID NOT RECEIVE THEM. Not my problem y’all bounce! I’m in SaaS sales so I know how that works and how to check my spam)

PLC: “You need to check your spam box and can’t blame a company for “terrible service” when you have failed to check your junk mail.”

ME: “ Are you seriously going to argue with me right now? I emailed y’all weeks ago and have sent numerous DMs. It took me publicly commenting on your page to get a response. It IS terrible customer service because of that. And also for how you’re handing this situation right now. And never have I ordered from somewhere that makes me pay for the tracking number 😂 No more needs to be said. I’m done with y’all. Have a good day“)

PLC: “ No it didn’t take for you to comment. We have been going through dm’s and yours just came through again. Definitely not terrible customer service but you’ve got tracking details and clearly you can see your emails have been replied too. We’ll deal with your bank once it comes through to us. Well when you order from the UK tracking systems are a little different 😂 not everywhere is the same. Have a lovely day 💕”

The package finally arrived after a couple weeks so I called my bank to cancel the dispute, even though my order was all kinds of wrong and my experience was terrible.

I didn’t even care to ask for a refund. Dealing with them is a nightmare. Basically I paid $60 to avoid them HAHA

So unprofessional, stuck up, unhelpful and egotistical. Mean girl company.

Respect yourself and just stay away 🫶

1- glitter/product is 10/10 ❤️ gorgeous, applies as shown, 100% would buy again
2- customer service is 3/10 💔 somehow mad at me for their mistake, sound young, needs more work on problem-solving

Super annoyed that I’m getting zero responses from the company. I got sent the wrong palette and they said they’d send the correct one but it’s been almost a month and no item. No tracking. No confirmation it was sent. Like, I don’t understand how I get an answer. I emailed Monday, waited until Friday morning to email again… I’m so disappointed. Would change review if I could just get an answer! The products are awesome… which is why I’m so sad.

Edit: the reason for the review was to get action. There is no email ladies. I’ve checked every possible folder. I’ve replied yet again to the original email where you said you’d ship the correct palette. I love this company. I’m just not pleased with what’s happening. Please rectify the situation otherwise the 2* for being able to contact/receive replies will stay. It’s fair when I haven’t received a product since you said you’d ship it Dec 20th/23.

Not worth it

I was actually very surprised to have received my order from dec. 15th. I didn't read all the bad reviews beforehand, so I was a bit nervous about it after I already ordered. Today I received my palette and there are a few things to be said. I ordered a palette of 9 shades I customized myself and a brush. Unfortunately I only received 8 shades and they also forgot the brush. Another thing is that the glitters were a bit cracked and smudged on the plastic package, which was unfortunate. However, I'm actually quite happy with the quality of the glitters so far (haven't tried them on yet). You may need a big scoop to make it completely opaque. You have to be careful though and not hold them upside down by mistake, because they're quite lumpy and loose and may fall out (happened to me). 

I just mailed the customer support about the missing products, so I will wait patiently for a response, I and might even come back to give them a higher rating if handled appropriately:). 

So in my opinion: yes, the brand is real, the glitters are quite similar (not every colour is exactly the same) to the colours presented online.

I've received a very fast response which said that I may choose between receiving the missing products or a refund. I chose the first option, so now we will wait.

I haven't received my missing products, as predicted by many other reviewers. I've used the glitters in the mean time and honestly, it's not worth the money. It's impossible to transport since the glitter falls out and get mixed up. It stays on pretty okay and looks good, but it's just not worth the headache.

Never received order

I ordered in November and it shipped December 3rd. I still haven't received it. Customer email support was replying back to me at first, saying "I would definitely get it the following week" but that was 1 week ago and still no. Customer support is now not replying to me. It's been more than a month since I placed my order. I guess I'll see if I even receive it, I was looking forward to the chunky pallette.
Came to edit with an update: I did finally receive it after trying to get a refund. I had to go through my bank since customer support ignored me for weeks. When they finally replied, they said "if I wanted a refund I should have just asked and didn't have to go through my bank." They were rude and I told them I had asked for a refund several times with no reply. So- order was 2 months late, they are rude, I won't be ordering from them again unfortunately.

Not a great experience.

* update* i have now sent a further email after still not hearing back, and after submitting my information and order number here. 09/01
I ordered two glitters and a body pigment in august, the order initially was about three weeks late, when I tried to contact them to find out where my order was, didn’t receive a reply. When the order turned up, it was missing the body pigment. (The glitters are really nice but definitely not worth it for the experience I’ve had) I reached out and did receive a quick response apologising and offering a refund or to send the missing item, I asked them to re-send the missing item. It never turned up. I’ve emailed again…to now ask for a refund for the body pigment on the 17/12 and have heard nothing, even though they have an auto response saying they’ll reply in three days…

ANOTHER CUSTOMER IGNORED

Doesn't take a genius to scroll down and read all the negative experiences to know that this company gives zeros about their customers & how they run their business. Just take a look at their replies, not taking accountability & going back at customers. I placed 2 orders in September. Paid express international shipping in Aus, never arrived. never received email replies after multiple emails, fb, ig msgs. Then got a rude short reply with no sorry, no tracking and re assurance the other order was sent.

The first order finally arrived in late november and GUESS WHAT! the entire order was wrong... I received 5 palettes that were not what I ordered and I ordered 8 palettes and the brush... Oh not to mention the second order has still not arrived... And also GUESS WHAT its been over a month notifying them of the mistake and GUESS WHAT.. NO REPLY WHATSOEVER! this company is by far THE WORST ecommerce business I have ever dealt with. I advised initially that I will lodge a dispute with my bank as I has no response from them for weeks after trying and once I received a snarky response saying they will fight the dispute... no sorry for the delay, nothing. seems to be a reoccurring problem for customers. How owners of this company sleep at night is beyond me, knowing they treat paying customers like this. How embarrassing really....

DO NOT BUY

Would give 0 stars if I could. This company is so unprofessional. Ordered in May, nothing arrived, constantly emailed and messaged to get an update with no reply. Eventually in NOVEMBER got a reply saying it’s been lost and they’ll refund me. 20 days later no refund, I message them again…no response. Get back to me a week later telling me they’ve refunded me even though they haven’t and start being rude and unprofessional. AVOID

I normally don’t write nor want to…

I normally don’t write nor want to write negative reviews. But I’m writing this as I am frustrated and want to share my experience. Hopefully this company can improve their service for new customers.

After numerous attempts reaching out to this company I still have zero response. I tried e-mail and IG. Via e-mail you get an automated response about that they are really busy and wil respond within about 3 working days. I have ordered in september (issue: missing a lot of items in my received order), contacted in oktober and november and still no response. So the promise/message of responding in 3 working days is unfortunately not true. So I thought; let’s try IG! They are very active on IG, posting several times a day. And this is the easy medium to stay in contact with your customers if I say so myself. Then they must see or respond to my question about my order in september… nope still nothing!

I am very disappointed about this. I understand that mistakes can be made concerning an order. No problem at all as long as you try to solve this with your customer by listening, helping and communicating.
But none of these traits are existent in my experience. I am starting to wonder if there even is a customer service. I hope you can improve this for future customers…

Disappointed, Frustrated, and Empty Handed...

Disappointed, frustrated, and empty handed is how you will feel if you order from Pretty Little Cosmetics.
I'm not sure if this business is a scam or just terrible at their job.
I placed, what I would say, was a fairly large order (order #4343) on September 29th. The eyeshadow was for my daughter's birthday party that we were having at a rivalry soccer game. My daughter and I were so excited for the product, and it was going to be perfect for all the girls to wear to the game. The party wasn't until October 23rd, so I figured that would have been plenty of time to receive my order.
Well, the product didn't show up in time for the party, so I thought that we would at least have it for Halloween.... NOPE.
It has now been 28 business days, and I still haven't received my order, or an email reply from Pretty Little Cosmetics. I don't know what I'm going to do with all the purple, blue, and red shadows at this point, but I wish I wouldn't have ever ordered from this business.
Maybe it will come, maybe it won't. Maybe I got scammed, or maybe we'll get our order by my daughter's next birthday... who knows, but if you're considering ordering from Pretty Little Cosmetics, don't expect to receive your order anytime soon, or at all.

UPDATE:
So my "order" did come in today (36 business days later).
I did NOT get everything in my order. I had ordered nine items and I only got five. Two of the five colors that were delivered, I hadn't ordered even though it has what I paid for on the package it was delivered in. The product I did receive must have gotten wet somewhere in the 8 weeks it took to get here, and it was not properly packaged, so I don't even think I can use what I did get.
