Avoid this company at all costs. It’s shocking that they’re still allowed to operate with such terrible practices. Save yourself the stress, frustration, and financial loss. They are not to be trusted.

AVOID THIS COMPANY THEY ARE SCAMMERS BOOKED AMSTERDAM FOR ME AND MY FRIEND AND WHEN FINALLY GOT IN CONTACT WITH THEM THEY SAY THEY WONT BOOK IT WITHOUT EXTRA CHARGES!!! AVOID ITS A BIG SCAM THIS COMPANY DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING OR ANYTHING THROUGH WOWCHER WITH THESE!!!!!
Disgusting AVOID AVOID SCAMS SCAMS
Disgusting AVOID AVOID SCAMS SCAMS booked Amsterdam through Wowcher was told to go through prime holidays been nothing but stress! Told me I had to pay extra etc as the package isn’t available was told I’ll get better hotel and flight times . I did not ask for that I booked what I booked and was happy with that didn’t want no ‘upgrade’ options. They wanted £89 per person for the flights then £69 to another airport then £54 then £48 which I also mentioned that , it is not in the policy or fine print when I booked through Wowcher they don’t even listen they just repeat and repeat everything !! They told me to go back to Wowcher which. I did they said they cannot do anything as it’s been redeemed i don’t no how this company get away with this when it is fraud !! I am now waiting for the manager to call me back tomorrow and they said this will be sorted!! If not I am taking it the legal route and will be contacting the police . And small court claims EVERYONE PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! ALL THEY WANT IS MONEY THEY DO NOT LISTEN!!!
Purchased a holiday to be told the price had doubled
Purchased a holiday for specified dates, when confirming the dates and flight I was told the cost had doubled so I requested that I go on the flight time and dates I requested. I was then ignored. Complained to wowcher over whatsapp and was passed to prime holidays on wowchers whats app (showing that they seem to be the same company) Again they tried to force an upsell, I refused and requested the flights and dates I purchased, then initially agreed, asked for my details and then never replied with the booking confirmation. I kept on and on over email and whats app and have now been told I will get a refund. I hope it does get processed as completing a charge back is the next step. Prime offers holidays which sound great but actually often end up with terrible flight times and if you are lucky one full day at the destination and wowcher offer these deals and if you cannot use your voucher or forget to claim it in time the money is kept. I am amazed that they are allowed to continue doing business
DO NOT REDEEM THE VOUCHER!
DO NOT REDEEM THE VOUCHER!!
Me and my wife are still fighting this case with prime holiday because they are refusing to refund us.
They will offer you a flight that is in the same city but is so out of the way that you lose a whole day. Then when you thought it couldn’t get any worse, they urge you to spend more money with their array of hidden costs.
When I looked online for the flights they were offering, they were half the price that we paid!
It is a scam company if I have ever seen one and I am astonished that they have been up and running for as long as they have been.
Hopefully my bank will accept my request for a chargeback otherwise I will have to escalate this to an ombudsman.
Update…terrible experience
Update
So I previous wrote a review about how this company’s advertising tactics were misleading. After several emails to prime and also Wowcher I was ignored. I had phoned and was met by rude staff who were raising their voices at me and told me I couldn’t have a refund! I reported to the advertising standards agency and logged it as fraud with my bank. Who agreed and have given me a refund. This company should not be operating and I would advise everyone of you to do as above to make sure this awful, scamming company gets shut down for good
order No 50076152 They pulled a holiday…
order No 50076152 They pulled a holiday after i redeemed a voucher then tried to get us to take a different holiday that we didn't want and are now refusing to give us a refund even though it says the bellow in their terms and conditions .I will be taking this further its not on that a company treats paying customers like dirt 7. DO NOT BOOK WITH PRIME HOLIDAYS
DO NOT BOOK WITH PRIME HOLIDAYS
Bought a voucher via Wowcher for a trip to Amsterdam. Was told false flight information (flights didn’t even exist) and as I was directed to redeem the voucher codes to gain flight info, it then makes them non refundable.
They lie and tell you there’s nothing they can do, refer you back to Wowcher and no one has any answers.
Awful, dishonest company selling absolute lies! The flights we were offered didn’t even exist !
We were then offered trips to various other places other than the city we wanted to go to on the date we chose to travel.
Absolutely ludicrous !
They have stolen my money, refused to refund it, refused to provide what they sold to me (2 nights in Amsterdam) and refuse to communicate.
DO NOT BOOK WITH PRIME HOLIDAYS
Not trustworthy
This company promise you one price and then say that price has expired so they put on a supplement charge. They don't give you refunds even when they know the problem was that they can't live uk to their part of the deal so you have no choice to pay the supplement charge or they will just take your money and you are left with nothing. Don't trust this company because they give you rubbish deals and make you pay more.
They are scammers
They are scammers. I bought a wowcher that they refulse to fullfil. Do not deal with them!!!
They don’t deserve one star
They don’t deserve one star. Booked a trip to Budapest via Wowcher. Prime Holidays never contacted us as their email stated they would. So we chased them with phone calls and emails. On the times we got a response, it was ‘there is no holiday consultant available to talk to you, someone will call you back’. They never did.
2 days before we were due to go, still no contact. We did not know which London airport we were flying from, what our flight times were etc…. So nowhere to go. So we booked a holiday with a proper holiday company.
I now see that they only have two one star reviews and just wish I had read reviews about this company before booking.
Absolutely horrible experience! I feel scammed
Absolutely horrible experience. I feel completely scammed. I bought a trip to Vienna and Budapest via Wowcher for my mom and grandmother hoping it was going to be easier for them to have everything planned and booked but the whole thing is just such a complicated process.
It took days for Prime Holiday to call me. When I contact them directly, they are always busy and say they’ll call back in an hour. They never do, they kept me waiting for a call for almost 2 hours.
When I finally got a hold of them, they say they flight is set to leave from Manchester which is simple crazy… I never selected that. In fact, Wowcher’s website never gave me the option to select what airport to leave from. I assumed this was sorted with the holiday provider. I’m sorry but wowcher’s website is so terribly designed that it’s impossible to understand things.
Lastly, the agent calls me and tells me that the flight is set to leave at 10pm, which is also crazy. They would arrive there in the middle of the night and are supposed to get to a hotel, two older women on their own. Also, it’s really unfair and unethical to promote this trip as a 4 night, 5 days trip when I literally miss the whole first day. We only actually get to enjoy the trip and the cities for 3 days and that’s it. How am I supposed to visit Vienna and Budapest in three days, considering there is also a travel day between the two? 5 days would be enough, and that's what they promote it as, but that's not the reality.
Prime Holidays are terrible, so not helpful, and their system of having to call is just ridiculous. So time consuming… Why not email? It’s easier communication, easier to understand each other, and if I need something I can call… It feels like to me that they don’t want to email so there is no written proof of the things they say and do. I emailed to ask for the full itinerary before deciding to cancel, and didn’t hear back. Zoe Williams is the agent who talked to me and she has ignored every email I sent, so forget any written proof of anything, they only talk on the phone. She completely switched her manner and posture when I asked about cancelling, after I got frustrated about the flight from Manchester, the late flight, and waiting for hours for a call.
Now I contacted Wowcher, and it's this back and forth between Wowcher and Prime Holidays customer service, where they tell me to contact the other for any refunds. I just want my money back and never speak of either of these companies again.
Disneyland holiday
Booked a holiday to Disneyland via wowcher so we were given prime holidays automatically.
I couldn’t add passports to my booking, as only the booker (prime holidays) could do this. I called and asked them to either give me access or add our passport for us , the very rude woman on the phone kept telling me ‘I don’t see what your issue is’, after explaining at least 5 times I hung up the phone.
We were offered bad flight times and were told if we pay £360 we can change our flight times to better ones which we did. When we got to our hotel, we were told breakfast wasn’t included (it was in our wowcher deal), we rang Prime Holidays to ask what was going on, they said because we paid extra to have our flights change, we lost breakfast?? So we paid an extra £360 and lost our breakfast??? I wouldn’t mind but they really didn’t care on the phone and their attitude was appauling.
Avoid if you can!
Seems a tale as old as time
Seems a tale as old as time. Bought a Wowcher, it auto-redeemed, nobody contacted me so I made some calls. Offered a shorter holiday than the voucher we booked, or the holiday itself for an extra 50% "supplemental payment". Told them this wasn't acceptable, wanted my money back, they stopped responding to my emails. Use your credit cards with Wowcher or Groupon, use their guarantees. I'll be making a chargeback and escalating a complaint through every possible avenue.
Never use this company very bad experience
Never use this company, I booked a city break for my partners birthday which included hotel and flights for a certain date they took my money but only gave me the hotel with no flights for the dates they wanted me pay an extra £400 for the flights wen id already paid nearly £400 for the flights and hotel, very rude staff and not helpful at all, never going using them again and one last advice if you’re booking any holidays through Wowcher please check as they use prime holidays
Complaint Regarding Mismanagement and Possible Fraudulent Practices – Booking via Prime Holidays / Wowchercher Customer Support
Wowcher Customer Support
Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) – for flight booking issues
Competition & Markets Authority (CMA) – for unfair commercial practices
Citizens Advice / Trading Standards
Companies House – to report potential fraudulent business practices
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the handling of my holiday booking with Prime Holidays, purchased via the Wowcher website, and to request urgent investigation and remedial action. The conduct of Prime Holidays raises serious concerns about potential breaches of consumer protection law, unfair commercial practices, and deliberate misrepresentation.
Chronology of Events:
I purchased a holiday voucher from Wowcher for travel to Bucharest, Romania, for 3 nights starting on 26 October 2025. This date was clearly selected during the purchase process, and the voucher was redeemed for this date.
From the outset, I communicated repeatedly with Prime Holidays that I was not available in November or December 2025 due to personal commitments, specifically a family bereavement (to bury my father). I also stated that the holiday was a special occasion to celebrate a birthday, making the October dates essential.
Despite this, Prime Holidays initially offered flights intentionally unsuitable, including:
An outbound flight arriving in Bucharest at 22:00 on 26 October, making it impossible to access the hotel on the intended day.
Another flight leaving extremely early, reducing the holiday to effectively one day, and requiring payment of an additional £400 to make it feasible.
Prime Holidays also substituted my booked hotel with a poorly reviewed, distant hotel, different from the two hotels advertised on Wowcher, which influenced my decision to purchase.
When I contacted Prime Holidays to confirm my travel dates, they deliberately altered the booking to 26 November 2025, falsely claiming that this was the date I requested. When I challenged this, the staff became hostile and raised their voices.
Eventually, I was forced to pay an additional £79 per person for flights that partially aligned with my requested dates, under duress. I have reported the fraudulent process to my Credit card company for immediate action of the additional £158.00.
Impact:
Emotional distress caused by mishandling, misrepresentation, and the insensitive treatment regarding my father’s funeral.
Financial loss due to forced additional payment for flights and inability to use the original booking as intended.
Denial of the contracted holiday experience purchased via Wowcher.
Legal and Regulatory Considerations:
Consumer Rights Act 2015 (UK): Services must be performed with reasonable care and skill. Misrepresentation of flight times, hotels, and availability constitutes a breach.
Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008: Deliberately offering unsuitable flights, providing false information, and pressuring additional payments may constitute unfair commercial practices and misleading actions.
Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018: Travelers are entitled to the services as described in the booking confirmation, including specified dates and hotels. Altering dates without consent or forcing additional payments breaches these regulations.
Misrepresentation and Potential Fraud: Deliberately booking the incorrect date, claiming it was my preference, and providing substandard accommodation could amount to fraudulent behavior under UK law.
Requested Actions:
Full investigation by Wowcher and Prime Holidays into this booking, with a full explanation of why my requested dates and accommodations were ignored.
Immediate correction of the booking and reimbursement of all additional forced payments (£79 per person and any other related costs).
Notification to regulatory bodies, including Trading Standards, CMA, and Companies House, regarding repeated misconduct and potential fraudulent practices by Prime Holidays.
Assurance that Prime Holidays will adopt transparent, ethical booking practices in compliance with the above legislation to prevent future occurrences.
Enclosures:
Copies of all email communications with Prime Holidays
Booking confirmation and voucher from Wowcher
Any payment receipts for additional charges
I request a formal written response within 14 days of receipt of this complaint. Failure to address these issues adequately will leave me with no option but to escalate this matter to all relevant authorities, including legal action for misrepresentation, consumer rights violations, and potential fraud.
I look forward to your prompt attention to this matter.
Yours sincerely,
Olaide Ola
DO NOT give them your hard earned…
DO NOT give them your hard earned money!!!! Complete scam! I purchased a 7 night holiday to Tenerife for a family of 4 return flights from Manchester departing September 2025..
They passed me over to prime holidays as my ‘travel agent’ who emailed to say a booking would be arranged within 24 hrs! I have chased and chased for contact and received NOTHING! Emails bounce back, I have had numerous WhatsApp messages from Wowcher advising me prime holidays will be in touch. Nothing of use. My agreement is with WOWCHER, I expect WOWCHER to resolve this! I will NEVER use again!!!!
I received NOTHING!!!! No holiday, no flights, no resolution. I will now be contacting trading standards as I have requested a full refund on many occasions!
Absolute rip off do not book
This company was meant to provide me with a 2 night break in krakov. They didnt contact me for over a week once our voucher had been redeemed & then offered me ridiculous flights meaning we would only be in the city for around 12 hours. They wanted more money to upgrade our package & flights. They also suggested we move our dates which we could not do. No offer of refund after totally misadvertising this deal & have left 2 OAPs over £100 out of pocket
Scam
Don't fall for the scam that this company tries to sell by advertising these great deals that don't exist they reel you in then they hide behind fine print and fob you off this company is owned by wowcher don't be fooled they will rip you off
Misleading, frustrating, and not what was advertised
I booked a holiday through Prime Holidays expecting a great deal and a smooth experience, but it’s turned into one of the most frustrating booking experiences I’ve ever had.
After I purchased the deal, I was waiting to redeem my voucher when Prime Holidays suddenly introduced new date restrictions that didn’t exist at the time of purchase. This completely changed the terms of the booking and made it much harder to find suitable travel dates. It felt unfair and misleading — if these restrictions had been clear from the start, I never would have booked.
When I finally tried to book the trip, things got even worse. The hotel that was advertised as part of the offer, including being clearly listed as all-inclusive, turned out to never have offered an all-inclusive option at all. When I contacted Prime Holidays about this, I was told that the advertised hotel was “not available” and that they could only offer the backup hotel mentioned in small print. This so-called alternative was not comparable in quality or value, and definitely not what I had paid for.
Overall, the entire experience has been misleading, disorganised, and deeply disappointing. I feel like I was drawn in by false advertising and then pushed into accepting something completely different. What was marketed as a special deal turned out to be full of hidden changes, unavailable offers, and broken promises.
If you’re considering booking with Prime Holidays, I strongly recommend proceeding with caution. The deals may look appealing, but in my experience, what’s advertised and what’s actually available are two very different things.
