I bought a new car recently and scoured the web to try and find a new private reg and came across Primo, who appeared to be the cheapest online. After deliberation I placed an order and submitted my ID as requested, and received my new plates two days later, and a week and a bit later (today) received the certification to put the plates on my car. Slight delay in receiving certification appears to be down to postal strikes, so aside from that it was a very quick and easy process, and whenever I rang the main office they were very helpful, despite my impatience to get them on the car! I was a bit concerned with some bad reviews whilst waiting for my certificate to arrive but happy to say my experience was far from that. Glad I went with Primo :)

Extremely easy process, explained every step of the way and really great prices, much cheaper than gov website. Called to check a few things before purchasing and answered straight away, knowledgable and helpful. Plates came in a few days on standard delivery, well packaged and at a great price. I am so happy with my private plates and I’m amazed how it came with my name I couldn’t have wanted something better. If there was a promotion for buying 2 or more it would have been amazing but I am very happy with my private plate and it looks amazing on my car and very affordable prices!!!!!!! Don’t wait rush to buy from primo registrations!!!! You won’t regret the decision!!! I bought two plates. Wanting to buy more but waiting for any promotions.

Excellent service & comms. Would definitely use again

Designed to be an internet friendly company. I have one major complaint. The private number that I had chosen & paid for was not available. I received a phone call from Paul an hour or so after completing the transaction to be told it had already been sold. I was offered alternatives and accepted one. However, I needed a private plate and decided to accept the alternative. The process after this point went without a hitch and because I had done everything electronically the process was so quick that I received notification that I could put my plates on the following day.

I was very pleased with the service I received. It was straightforward and easy to do. Once I gave all the documents required the rest is done for you. Thank you to Melanie for getting everything sorted so quickly and prompt payment.

just purchased a registration that primoregistrations were advertising only after i had made the payment to get a call from an adviser stating they don't have it. and that the funds although hadn't been taken would now be unavailable for 3 days. customer service advisor then asked me to suggest a way to release the funds and said if i expect him to take the funds out his account "he wouldn't be doing that" absolutely shocking couldn't understand why i was annoyed that they were advertising something that they didn't own. never mind allowing me to pay for it. stay away from these guys

Service in relation to purchase of plate excellent. Disappointed with plates, no border as ordered and letters/spacing not as shown on preview.

Absolutely useless. How can you sell something, take the money and then say you don't have it. Raging.

A good company to deal with, the cheapest price i could find and was updated by text and emails regularly to keep me informed.

I paid 400 for my private plate only to realise they are going to hold my v750 hostage that I need to pay them back again after 10 years instead of direct to DVLA THEY wouldn’t give me my v750 which they didn’t explain from the outset. I don’t know how to reply to the comment. Why on the purchaser your name is still there I couldn’t add it to my account on DVLA you even confirmed via phone that in ten years time I have to pay you again. DVLA charges 250 and one can go directly to them to renew after ten years without having to pay you again.

I believe my purchase was good value for the money, compèred to some of the other sites. Regular updates given with a fast and helpful service.

Buy or selling a registration plate I can not fault Primo Registrations , the process was so easy . Melanie was absolutely brilliant from start to finish .
