While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Ridiculous procedures

Ridiculous procedures. They are not clear about the requirements (French/EU nationals only accepted) and complexities when a UK based business wants to setup a subsidiary. Everything is fine until you try to open a senseless Capital Deposit account, and it gets rejected after 2-3 days. They have this weird requirement to deposit even a 1€ Capital (SARL) into a Capital Deposit Account with a couple of approved online banks (Qonto,Shine, Finom), only to obtain a certificate to submit to the INPI and then get back the 1€ once the registration is completed. They also make it compulsory to place a paid advertisement about the planned opening of a company (as if anybody is bothered). Unnecessary procedures due to which opening a company takes forever. End of the day, they do not accept (though they do not say) any UK based element - shareholder, director, manager, passport, address - and just need a French national with French residency to start a company. On top of it, they speak only French and require all documents to be only in French, for which you are forced to use few senseless French company formation agents and pay them. Not sure how much they harass non-EU/EEA (Asian/African) businesses trying to establish in France/EU. It is hypocrisy that these so called Developed Western countries talk about difficulty of doing business in developing countries like India or China or African nations. Been over a month and am still going through the harassment and am considering quitting. Now I realise why UK is a preferred destination, where you can establish a company within an hour.
