Excellent service
Excellent service. I phoned to book a skip. I was given excellent advice, and instead of a skip, was advised that 2 men and a van would be cheaper and more efficient. Within a couple of days, two men and a van had come round to take away all my junk. The men were pleasant, helpful and efficient. I’d highly recommend Proskips.

Initially good, let down on collection
Initial contact and booking was excellent. Happy to match the price of a cheaper competitor and arrived on time. It would have been a 5* rating however they let themselves down over collection. Arranged for the skip to be collected 4 days in advance but they never turned up on the date agreed, so we were left with a skip in our drive for our daughter birthday party! They didn’t answer the phone and couldn’t leave a message as voicemail was full.

Most upsetting, a company that knows how to fiddle you
Most upsetting. Ordered a skip from Proskip that arrived a day early. Was told the skip wud be collected on the Friday. Forgive my naivety but I assumed it wud be close of business. It was collected at 7:30am despite being half empty and the gardners coming in Fri am to finish off. Had to order another skip at 260 quid. Whilst well mannered on the phone this company know how to take advantage of you. Make sure you tell them to wait till your ready for your skip to be collected. When I initially complained I was offered a 20 quid reduction. A bill for over 500 quid is not fair.

To be honest I am sorry you are unhappy. I have just called you to try to re run through the calls we had with yourself when booking both the delivery and the collection with us.
We are an honest company first and foremost that pride ourselves in working closely with all our customers to give them what they need and when they need it.
When this was booked for collection we were not informed, at any stage, that you still had workers filling the skip on the Friday. Usually when a customer requests a skip to be collected on a certain day the skip has been finished with the day before our arrival. If this is not the case the customer will say, please do not collect the skip until the end of the day because....
In this case unfortunately you did not inform any of our team. We collect skips from 07.30 - 16.30 Mon - Fri and between 07.30-12.00 on Saturdays
We would advise any future customers to please share with us any specific time requests they may have. We will always do our best to meet their requirments.
Many customers in the above example, who had indeed already filled the skip, would have been grateful for the prompt collection of the skip as requested on the day it was requested.
I am sorry that you have felt the need to write such a damning review when from our perspective we honestly tried to do exactly as you had asked.

Helpful and efficient skip hire thanks
Two skips delivered and removed all as arranged, the second at short notice on a busy bank holiday weekend as more rubbish than expected. No drama, perfectly helpful and efficient.

Skip.was a day late and when it arrived…
Skip.was a day late and when it arrived it was the wrong type. I ordered an 8 yard skip but got an 8 yard with low ends so I couldn't fit everything it. Sent a pic and dimensions but was told it was the correct type. The driver who picked it up co formed that it was not a standard 8 yarder. Very disappointed.

I appreciate in your review the honesty of clarifying that the container we sent you was indeed an 8 Yard Skip. And that we had taken the time to check this with you both on your call and when the skip was collected. We have 1000s of skips predominantly spec’d directly by our team.
Due to the rush of activity with the lifting of lock down we have been working at maximum capacity across the whole of London. On this occasion a driver at our South London Depot selected one of our older skips, that although holding the same cubic capacity of waste, is not like our normal stock and wider with lower ends.
On lots of projects with heavy waste like bricks and soil this is ideal as it is easier to get into the container. Our apologies that it wasn’t ideal for you.
