I have a few underlying health problems, although not life threatening they made getting life insurance a little more difficult, but the customer services representative went out of his way to get the right deal for me for what I could afford to pay each month.

I would recommend Protected to anyone considering term assurance, particularly in you have any existing medical conditions. Their service is professional, competitive and saves you the general hassle of trying to source the best quotes yourself. You are continually updated with the progress of your quote and if necessary your doctors are contacted at no additional cost to yourself. I didn't feel pressured in anyway at any stage and wouldn't hesitate to use Protected again.

They were calling me constantly for 1.5 month

Firstly can I say thank you for your feedback. I would like to apologise for the service you have received and say sorry for any inconvenience caused. The last thing we want to do here at Protected.co.uk is to provide anything other than an excellent service to our customers.
I can confirm that I have looked at the amount of times you were called by one of our Account Managers, and can see that three numbers were used to call you; the first was our local area code, the second our mobile number and thirdly a withheld number; not six as stated in your Trustpilot review.
You completed an online application for life insurance directly through our website on the 7th December 2015 and we called you, as we stated would happen on our website. Unfortunately we could not get hold of you until the 22nd January 2016. This is totally unacceptable on our part and we should not have called you for that period of time.
The initial quotes you see online are based upon your age and smoking status. To get an exact quote, we do need to go through some health and lifestyle questions with you over the phone.
When we did speak to you, you went through the health and lifestyle questions with one of our Insurance Specialists and once we gave you an exact quote, you stated that you were happy to start the policy on the very same day.
I understand that you expected to buy the life insurance online directly and not speak to anyone over the telephone. We apologise if there was some confusion regarding this process.
Just to confirm, it is incredibly important with life insurance policies that our customers answer all of the lifestyle and medical questions correctly, as failure to do so could mean that the policy might not pay out. We take our role in this very seriously and as such, have chosen a process which means we do check off with every customer to make sure that they have answered all the questions correctly. After this, an exact quote is given based on your answers.

They were very helpful
I spoke with them over the phone after filling in an online enquiry form, the customer rep was very helpful and made sure that I understood all of the information, I ended up taking a policy through them that was slightly cheaper than the original quote.
