This review is specifically for Ivo who came to service my alarm yesterday. He was diligent, super helpful and very thorough. He made sure everything was perfect before he left and even picked up on a couple of issues that the admin office had missed. Thanks Ivo!
Great service
Lovely friendly gentleman (Richard), serviced the burglar alarm thoroughly. He arrived exactly when expected. I could not have asked for better.

Dreadful, pointless, clueless.
Dreadful. Truly dreadful. An alarm they installed has a serious fault, I’ve been calling all week as the alarm continues to go off and nothing.
Don’t expect any support with their 24 hour phoneline either.

I have just had a visit from Engineer Thomas at my property in West Lothian. He is extremely polite and friendly and is super efficient at diagnosing problems with the system. He has come here since 2019 and is such an asset to the company. I have total confidence in his abilities and it is such a pleasure to welcome such a polite young man. Well done !
This company is absolutely useless
This company is absolutely useless, they never answer the phone and when they do it is just a 3rd party answering service. They never return any calls.
my alarm has been broken since the middle of December, you wait a month for an engineer and he makes it even worse, you then wait another month and the engineer is not even trained on the model of alarm

Cant get through, eventually got resolved
Same as last reviewer, not had a service for two years but pay monthly subscription, rang Monday and was told someone would get back to me, sent an email but no response. Phoned twice today, kept hanging on for 30 minutes. Listening to music with messages saying how important my call is to them. Going to cancel DD, as clearly going down the tubes. Update 1/3, spoke to PMP who apologised, appointment booked for 9/3, engineer Ivo arrived alarm now serviced and back on track. Thank you Ivo. Have reinstated DD.

This company is going bust I suspect
This company is going bust I suspect. I booked an appointment a month ago for an engineer to fix my alarm which hasn’t been working for three months. They cancelled my appointment a few days ago. The standard of service is non existent. Does anyone know of another company which I could switch to?

We have been with this company for many years to support our monitored burglar alarm. Their service is prompt and the service engineer (Tomas) is invaluable, he reminds me the purpose of the emergency keys etc and carries out a thorough service. Nothing is a bother and he is very polite.

Tomas
Tomas, engineer from protect my property visited our property this morning. Totally satisfied with his knowledge and work ethic. Feel reassured that our system is in perfect working order. Plus a very pleasant experience. Would recommend him. He went above and beyond to ensure we were completely satisfied with work carried out.

This is my second review of this…
This is my second review of this shambolic & appalling company. We gave them a second chance after a string of issues and errors before but no more. We have not had a functioning alarm since August 2022 -it is now February 2023- despite paying for it. Finally, an engineer was due to come out last Friday but cancelled in the morning. The visit was rearranged for today, Monday, and so once again, I arranged with my work to work from home. At 1335, the engineer called my mobile saying he would arrive in 5 minutes. At 1345, we received a 'sorry we missed you, we called today when you were out' card through our letterbox. Four of us were in my house!!!
I have been calling the engineer on his mobile solidly since and he will not pick up. He is clearly dodging the job.
I have called Head office and they have tried to contact him but he will not pick up for them either. He has now turned his 'phone off. It's a complete joke of a service and clearly a company which cannot manage its own staff or, worse still, look after its customers properly. We will now leave this company and urge any prospective customers not to go near with a barge pole. Those 5* star reviews cannot be true!!!

Awful - complete failure
Just awful - I had been a happy customer for around 10y but not now - current service is hopeless. My contractual 6m service was not done last year - so no surprise when started having battery failure issues (main battery and then CO detector). They booked a service in (had to wait several weeks) but then cancelled on the morning (engineer in Norfolk and wouldn’t get to Surrey in time!! ) and a second appointment cancellation an hour before end of day when I rang to be told “sorry your engineer’s on holiday”. Someone finally came on 7 Nov - but didn’t reconnect the CO detector and put an old battery in back door - so a week later that failed too, At this point was advised - no appointments before Xmas so only option was to turn off alarm at back of house. “Someone would contact me to book me in” - no one has. In fact no one has EVER called me. So now it's Feb - have rung 3 times and been promised callbacks to book in the appointment 3 times. Have escalated as a complaint twice - NOTHING!!!!!!! Why am I paying money for this? I can’t use my appliances that require a CO detector and can’t alarm back door. Oh - and my house insurance may not be invalid as it’s no longer to standard!!! Avoid like the plague. I'm going away at end of month and just like at Xmas will not be able to secure my house.
UPDATE: Still no response from customer services or the complaints team... but having rung everyday for a week now and have been given earliest appointment of 10th March. Better late than never assuming they turn up.
UPDATE: so engineer turned up on 10th March. Ensured CO detector activated on the system and replaced door contact. Sadly over the weekend the new door contact would randomly lose comms with the alarm panel - so once again can't alarm the property.
Second engineer attended on 13th March and replaced contact again - but within a couple of days this device also loses contact with the alarm panel. So once again cannot use alarm.
30th March - earliest I can get an engineer to come out again. He calls for advice and after checking the alarm events he discovers it's a tamper issue and that the door contact he fitted isn't sitting flush - hence the issues (allegedly). Fits yet another door contact - 4 days later the issue is back and I can't alarm the house AGAIN. Have called the technical team for help - currently holding (29mins so far). Holiday in 3 days and I can't alarm my house! Going to put a hold on my DDs as this is a breach of contract now. p.s. just received a letter saying the price is going up! Laughable !!

Poor Service
I don’t write reviews as a rule but felt compelled to do so on this occasion. I have been a customer for over 15 years and PMP service has declined drastically over the past 12 - 15 months (post covid). Tried to get some fob’s sync’s on the alarm system, took over 20 calls over 2 months to finally get it sorted (which took 10 minutes over the phone). Whenever you call them, calls are routed to their overflow company who have no access to management to escalate and can only send emails. Whether you need a reset on alarms or something else the service is so poor they can not be trusted to do what they say, “protect my property”. Steer well clear (should be no stars)

Excellent Customer Service
Richy contacted me to let me know he was on his way, which is very helpful. From start to finish Richy was professional, courteous and efficient. Richy explained what he was doing all through the service. The added bonus was explaining the app, which I had given up on when I first had the system installed.
