I asked to have subscription cancelled and the responded quickly. They do a wonderful job with books for children on a variety of topics as well as ways for parents to help.

Sharon understood my problem and handled it quickly and efficiently.

I just found that I have been being billed for a subscription since April 2023. This is December 2023.
I called to ask what this was about; they could not
answer what purchase was made because they did not know. When I asked to cancel they stated that they can
only refund the past three months. A BIG scam because it is another aggressive marketing scheme to get paid for nothing. Their billing information on my bank statement says Puppy Dogs and Ice Cream Pub. Apparently when I saw the
charge in the past, I ignored it because we
do go out for ice cream and often the business's billing on our statement show a different name that is not on the business that we patronized. Tricky way to make a profit.

I love that my subscription allows my kids to use the Puppy Dogs & Ice Cream app too! Always prompt and reliable service and resolution too! Thank you!!

12/7/2023. When Paypal notified me last night that I had been charged $103.79 I panicked as I had not made a purchase and didn't even recognize the company name. I discovered that in Oct 2022 I made a $38 purchase from the company. In November 2022 I was charged $103.79 for a subscription service I did not authorize. I failed to notice the charge in 2022. The charge on 12/7/2023 was a renewal of a charge I did not authorize. I hope the company will refund both of the $103.79 charges.

With fabulous books for children and outstanding customer service, I can't say enough wonderful things about Puppy Dogs & Ice Cream...a grandmother's dream!

This company is SHADY.

I ordered some books from them and they proceeded to charge me $97 for a subscription I never signed up for.

This company is very shady. I ordered books paid for them and then a year later I’m told they are charging me for my subscription! Lo and behold they charged me last year … I missed seeing chargers my husband had surgery and I was not as diligent combing the credit card charges. I asked to have my money refunded as I never used their services…. They refused… Don’t buy from them unless you want charges a month later for a subscription you don’t wish to have!

In a world that is more AI than Real, where our conversation is by text rather than mouth and our lives are governed by unseen, yet controlling forces, I was delighted to find Puppy Dogs & Icecream. They are real people writing about real life and providing real books to give children a real understanding of a real life. And the cherry on top is their service. It is beyond every other service experience I have had in recent years. My email to customer service was answered within the hour. It was personable and understanding and included an action on their end that I thought I may have to fight for. They are the REAL Deal.

I was just billed $97.00 for a "trial" subscription that I canceled a year ago. I never knowingly authorized any ongoing subscription with this company in the first place and canceled it after being billed $97 in September 2022. I have accessed no content from this company in the past year. I live on a fixed income and cannot afford to pay for something I didn't order and haven't used.

By buying 2 little books for a friend, unbeknownst to me I “automatically” signed up for audiobooks to the tune of $104.73 a year!!!!! I considered their emails to be no more than advertising, and I didn’t want any more books.
If you are taking someone’s money, you should make sure they know it and for what,
Otherwise ITS A SCAM!!!

This company is nothing other than a bunch of scammers and thieves. I bought a book for my grandson and was then signed up for a bogus virtual library that I never wanted. They just decided to add me and charge me $103.16 in September, 2022. I noticed the charge again on October 2, 2023 and called customer service. I requested a refund for both charges as I never requested the bogus virtual library and they refunded the October charge but told me it was just too bad that I fell for their scam and wouldn't refund the September, 2022 charge. Do NOT purchase from them. They will rob you and sign you up for things you don't want, won't use and laugh all the way to their bank. A shameful way to conduct business as they prey on the unsuspecting.

Got charged for books and services or membership or whatever it is and never received anything. In over 200.00 dollars for nothing!!

I needed an refund and the customer service person was patient, understanding, and helpful!

I contacted customer service, and they solved my issue immediately!

I am not happy that I bought 3 books from PDIC & was offered a gift, but they are unable to fulfill that reward!! Every book that was listed on their website was SOLD OUT. When I reached out in a chat, I was told I could go to Amazon to purchase. My discount from PDIC would not be honored there, so what’s the point of claiming a gift for your purchases!?!?

I appreciate your customer service representative. I was overcharged because of a mistake that I made. It was cleared up immediately and I was refunded the amount that was charged.

The person was congenial and interested in helping me. He was able to reassure me that the problem was solved and sent me an email to confirm the solution.

Company replied the same day, were very courteous and explained what I had misunderstood. They were more than willing to resolve my issue!
