This was my second purchase from Purestep;I was so delighted by my first order. The service was excellent, the product fitted perfectly and the shoes are so comfortable that I cannot imagine wearing any others. I have a chronic back and joint issue and this has improved whilst wearing Purestep shoes. I am elderly and I feel more confident walking as I can feel the ground. The shoes have gained compliments; indeed youngsters have asked where I purchased them!! I also purchased shoes for my sister and after a week she asked for another pair. I am a very satisfied customer and I am very happy to recommend Purestep .

PureStep is a very clever scam

PureStep is a very clever scam. Search Amazon for cheap barefoot shoes and you'll find the exact same models being sold by dozens of generic Chinese brands for half the price. PureStep buy from the same factories, list the shoes on their fancy website with hefty discounts from artificially over-inflated prices, and use misleading marketing practices like fake reviews and 'as seen on The Sun (no trace), The Wellness Magazine (doesn't exist), and Good Housekeeping' (no trace). They also list their own shoes in fake 'best barefoot shoes' articles and flood Trust Pilot with more fake positive reviews. If you want to try some cheap barefoot shoes, go ahead, but don't expect any support from PureStep when they fall apart a month later.

Shocking response to split shoe

Bought Barefoot hiking shoes from Purestep. They were nice to wear. Then after one month of light use (mainly pavements) the left shoe split. I sent a comprehensive set of photos asking for a refund. Purestep’s response was that there no issue with the shoe. Well Purestep, I hope other customers have a better experience of your product and your customer service than I did!

Purestep barefoot shoes

The shoes are exactly how they are described. Very comfortable and durable. The first week of receiving the shoes I wore them on a 10k hilly off road hike and they did a fantastic job over all kinds of terrain. No slipping and my feet felt fine. Very versatile as can be worn as normal shoes aswell as hiking shoes. Delivery did take quite a long time though but well worth the wait!

Felt the sizes are incorrect

Felt the sizes are incorrect. I measured my feet in the way described on the site but when the shoes came they felt a bit short. They are wearable but only for short periods, and not suitable for hiking. Because of reviews stating that returns can be difficult and expensive, I decided to just keep them as occasional shoes and not for hiking.
