UJust received order this morning and the date sugar package is damaged, it definitely looks like it might be a rat or mice infestation in their warehouse as it clearly looks like rodent bite marks.

Saw on Dragon's Den and decided to take a look. I follow a KETO lifestyle so 'carb content' is essential for me which usually means expensive sugar substitutes. I have just received my first order... See more

Unfortunately, the product does have an acquired metallinc bitterish taste and isn't any better than other sweeteners. Besides, it isn't 70% sweet compared to sugar but rather 50%. The only advantag... See more

BRILLIANT PRODUCTS!

I saw your products on Dragons Den and they definitely fill a big gap in the market. I ordered two of the items immediately to try as I have recently been diagnosed as pre-diabetic and have changed my diet accordingly. I ordered the Mayple syrup and the Hunee and they are both unbelievably good. I have since ordered items again and will keep ordering in the future.
Ordering is quick and easy and delivery on or before the estimated delivery date.
Thank you so much for a guilt free treat!!

This isn't as sweet as sugar and you…

This isn't as sweet as sugar and you have to use more than they suggest. It does have a faint taste to it but nothing compared to the others iv tried.
When I first ordered this I found the replys to my messages on social media to be somewhat grumpy /curt. But I will continue to use it its a good product.

an excellent substitute for sugar

This is proving for me an excellent substitute forsugar. I find that other alternatives like aspartame have a bitterness and an aftertaste. Pure sweet doesn’t give that.
The service is excellent.

Very efficient service

Very efficient service but most of all very good products. My wife in her childhood would have brown sugar on toast but since becoming diabetic that was a no-no. With your product she is back to her childhood, many thanks.

Now subject to Trading Standards investigation

The product might be good (erythritol, a naturally-occurring sugar substitute), but I recommend buying one of the competing products. "Puresweet" is just the brand, the manufacturer behind the puresweet.co.uk is trading anonymously and therefore illegally - the company, The Easy Health Store Limited, registered in England number 09681543, whose registered office is at 23 Atlas Business Centre, Oxgate Lane, London, England, NW2 7HJ, has now been reported by me to Trading Standards for non-compliance with consumer protection legislation. It failed to respond to any messages pointing out the failure to publish its identity on its Web site as required by law.

Update: the company has updated its Web site without having responded to any of my messages, but when a purchase was made, the product packaging did not display any identifying information whatsoever apart from a generic postcode on the "batch number" label stuck on the packet.

Response to The Easy Health Store Limited: As you are well aware, this review arises from non-response to any of my messages through your Web site and e-mails to you, each of which gave a valid e-mail address for your response. As you are manufacturing a food product, you should not trade anonymously or have anything to fear from Trading Standards officers visiting your premises. It's important that the quality of food products is maintained so that there are no risks for purchasers, and compliance with hygiene and consumer protection requirements is of the utmost importance.

However, it would seem that despite featuring on Dragon's Den, you chose not to comply with the basic legal requirements for running a limited company in the UK, which make trading anonymously a criminal offence.

Hi Mr Crorie,

We understand that you have taken it upon yourself to police our company, we are unsure why this has seemed to become your mission! We are fully compliant with all food hygiene rules and local authorities, but we keep on receiving harassing emails from you telling us what to do with false email addresses that have our company name in it, we find this odd and hope you find something better to do with your time,

Kind regards,

The Puresweet Team.

Allergic reaction.

Hi, The taste is great, but unfortunately I had an allergic reaction after using just 1 teaspoon of this product, it was quick, only 15 minutes, and my lips were tingling, at which point I took an antihistamine tablet. My lips did swell up as well. It took over 4 hours to swelling to decrease, however my lips continued to tingle for another 3 hours. It is a shame as it was great tasting. I will not be buying it again, sorry.

Regards Sharon
