Nice samples but the final product was not so good.

The samples we received were nice so I went ahead and ordered 2 different products. On arrival 5 out of 35 of the first product were missing and 29 out of 37 of the second product were obviously damaged.
The damaged products had been sent from the factory in that condition and not damaged in transit. It would have been preferable to have been notified of the damage prior to delivery so I could have made a decision as to whether to proceed with the order or not.
No replacement could be offered as all remaining stock was damaged too. A refund was offered for the damaged items however as I had already paid £75 + VAT for delivery, taken time off work to receive it and would have had to take more time off to pack and send it back it made more sense to keep it and accept some extra damaged stock (along with the missing sheets) which I will now have to cut and fit together to get what I need out of it.
I feel I've been lumbered with damaged stock because of this and will have to spend more of my time fixing the mistake Puretree made in sending out damaged goods.

The person that I spoke to on the phone was very friendly & polite, gave me the information that I needed & after ordering online the cork arrived on time and is the high quality product that I needed to finish an aspect of my kitchen. Thank you Puretree!!

Poor customer service

Order arrived fine but after that customer service has been really poor - I'd be very wary of buying from them. I raised an issue with flooring I bought from them back in October and other than one abrupt phonecall have had zero communication or resolution. If you can get the product you want from someone else, I would.

Great Pre-Sales Service, None-Existent After-Sales Service

The product received is clearly of a good quality.

The service provided prior to payment was helpful and flawless. As a small ecommerce business owner myself, I could not ask for any more.

However, the Saturday delivery (which I understand is not guaranteed) which I paid £66 for was not what Puretree paid Parcelforce to do. They instructed them to do a next work day AM (Monday), so I was sat at our warehouse unit for 2 hours wasting my time watching the tracking.

If it was Parcelforce's fault, I could accept that.

Since that mistake they have ignored countless emails for over 7 days, including return requests (because it was too late for our decorator to use).

As I work in ecommerce I like to think i'm pretty understanding that human errors happen and nothing is guaranteed, but the ignorance shown after the sale just feels like contempt for their 'customers'.

I only gave 2 stars, rather generously, because of the quality of the product. They won't be getting any business from us again, and we'll be initiating a chargeback.

Even writing this review is a waste of our time.

Very disappointing.

UPDATE - Tuesday 13th August - STILL NO REPLY. Downgraded to 1 star.

I've sold the products on to someone who really wanted them, at a loss to me. What a waste of time this whole order was.

It felt like a mission to get it laid but it looks fabulous …

I saw this product a few years ago and it took me sometime to find a local flooring contractor who would lay it. It would be great if Puretree could look for recommended flooring contactors further afield than Exeter. Delivery was delayed because they hadn't taken all the details they needed and then didn't explain the delivery instructions. It would be helpful to be able to track delivery. That had a knock on effect of delaying the flooring contractors and costing me more on final invoice. When the cork came there were quite a few damaged planks so you need the extra. Saying all that my floor looks great and I am really pleased with the finished effect. As cork is such a sustainable product I think it needs to be easier to buy and install. Hoping my lovely new floor is now going to stand the test of time.
