Smooth booking process

Web site worked well, process was smooth and intuitive. There was a choice to get a pdf ticket or a mobile ticket. I chose the pdf so I can't comment on the mobile option.

Great service, easy to use

Great service, easy to use

Only complaint is that while I was trying to book a trip from Basel > Amsterdam (1 connection option, Cologne) for late August, the system reported that my itinerary could not be booked, no error or reason provided. I tried booking it multiple times, same result. I had to book my trip directly through DB. Hopefully you can check on this

Extremely difficult to use website and book tickets. Especially trying to remove items from your basket. Also, telephone number field very dysfunctional.

The system doesn’t allow sufficient…

The system doesn’t allow sufficient time to book multiple tickets. I had to retry on five occasions to book four itineraries. I was about to quit completely and book through others. I know the scam given the fees you charge with separate bookings. It wasn’t about any attempt to save a few measly booking fees but more about convenience. I’m sure you follow and may do the right thing by extending the time to book and also don’t limit the time window to fill out the payment details only to lose the booking. Terrible.

As an authorised distributor of rail tickets for European rail operators, our website is connected directly to the rail carriers' ticketing systems. The time a booking can be held in your cart is set by the rail operators and isn't something we're able to extend. For this reason, we recommend completing the booking within the displayed hold time to avoid losing the reservation.

As a helpful suggestion, you may find it easier to plan your itinerary first and decide on all the journeys you'd like to book before starting the booking process. Once you're ready, you can book your trips one after another without unnecessary delays, helping reduce the chances of the booking hold time expiring.

Regarding our booking fee, this is a flat fee charged per booking rather than per trip. So if all of your journeys are added to the same booking before checkout, you'll only be charged the fee once. For your OBB journey, customers can select their seat preferences during booking, and the rail operator's system automatically assigns seats based on those preferences and availability. As the distributor of these tickets, we aren't able to offer specific seat selection for OBB services.

If the assigned seats aren't convenient, you can always speak with the onboard staff after boarding, as they may be able to assist with a seat change or swap if other seats are available.
