Easy enough to buy tickets, but very confusing about which train we wanted. Our seats are on the Golden Pass express, but our tickets are for the Panorama express. Turns out they are the same train, but it took several emails to reassure us that both tickets and seats are on the same train. Maybe all companies could call the scenic train by the same name…… just a thought. Customer service were fairly quick to reply.

Figuring out where to sit is a huge challenge! Bahnbonus status, pre-reserved seats etc are all very difficult to figure out without detailed instructions!

No contact number, no help and even though the train service offered us alternative dates there was no space for bikes. When I booked there wasn’t an option to add bikes so assumed it was ok as with the earlier booking. Now you email with your T&Cs and say no refund. You’re a totally useless booking agency without any service

As long as you enter the number of passengers on the first screen, the process is seamless, even though I only speak and read English. I didn’t specify number of passengers up front so had to backtrack in order to Purchase 4 tickets together. Overall, I highly recommend RailEurope.
