I’ve held an Amazon prime membership…

I’ve held an Amazon prime membership for over a decade. In that it includes Amazon Music. Well sometime over the last year, they signed me up for Amazon Music unlimited. I’ve noticed a charge coming off my card and I called today when it came off. I asked him what is this. I was told I signed up for a free trial. I did not. They did refund me for today, but they haven’t refunded me for the previous five months that they’ve been charging my account. Stating that I signed up for a trial period, I assure you I did not 100% did not sign up for a trial Amazon Music unlimited. Anyway, I think that I’ll be cancelling my Amazon prime membership as the only reason I have it was for the music and maybe two or three orders that I make a year. So if you have an Amazon prime membership and you use the Amazon Music, then you should really keep an eye on your bank account and make sure you’re not being charged for both your prime membership and Amazon Music unlimited.

Amazon Alexa drops the ball....repeatedly

On December 28, 2025, I purchased an Echo Show device. During setup, I encountered issues connecting it to my existing Alexa app, which forced me to contact customer support.

Unfortunately, during that call, the representative made changes that severely disrupted my account. This resulted in the deletion/loss of key features, including my Alexa+ subscription (or enhanced features) and connectivity to my smart lighting system and water sensors. All of my prior smart home integrations stopped working.

Since then, I have made over 20 phone calls and spent many hours speaking with support staff. A month and a half ago it was confirmed that the issue lies with Amazon's side—not my equipment or setup. Despite this, subsequent calls have repeatedly resulted in the same basic troubleshooting steps that do not resolve the problem.

I have been promised multiple times that a technical specialist would contact me to fix this, but no one has ever followed up other than e mails with the same basic trouble shooting tips that have been proven to never solve the issue.

In several instances, representatives appeared underqualified for technical issues and even hung up mid-conversation when I attempted to explain potential solutions. ( I was always polite)

Within the first two weeks of this unresolved issue, I requested to return the Echo Show. I was assured the matter would be handled expeditiously. However, it is now well past the standard 30-day return window, and I am being told a return is no longer possible.

I was previously very satisfied with my Alexa ecosystem (including my Echo Dot) and was excited to expand it with the Echo Show. This experience has been extremely disappointing due to repeated incompetence, lack of follow-through, and poor handling overall.

Do better Amazon!

Amazon Canada after sales service is a failure.

I have ordered a pair of boots, black but I have receive a pair of brown boots. After almost 2 month of waiting for Amazon to fix this issue, I have been advised to return the discrepant boots for a full refund ($63, promotional price) and reordered the item I want ($150, regular price). I was expecting Amazon to replace the boots with the correct ones without any other charges and to apologize for their mistake.
Very, very disappointed!

placed item INSIDE compost bin with rotting vegetables

Order date, 22 January 2026 on 3-7 day delivery.
Arrived Feb. 15. Not competitive shipping.
Delivery person from Dragonfly placed the item INSIDE a plastic compost bin with rotting vegetables.
They went to some trouble to put the item inside the plastic compost bin as the bin was sealed with a number of straps that had to first be removed. (Sealed against bears)
Is this the new Amazon experience?
Hard to believe this really happened.
I place my feedback on Trust pilot now as Amazon systematically removes most negative feedback and negative reviews placed on their Amazon site.

I have been ordering from Amazon Canada…

I have been ordering from Amazon Canada for years. Service was always fast ordered it and poof before I knew it was delivered. However that is no longer the case. I have been waiting almost 5 months for three separate items. I was told it would items would arrive in October, then December I was told to reorder again from another Amazon seller I did and waited another two months. Today I was advised to reorder from another Amazon seller. I refused and canceled the order and cancelled my Amazon account! I’m tired of their lies and deception. I see by the bad reviews I’m not alone. Personally I think Amazon is in trouble with their sellers. I think Jeff Bezos has lost his focus he has stopped paying attention to detail he has made so many billions of dollars he doesn’t care about you and I anymore. All I can say is don’t buy from Amazon Canada unless you want to experience all that frustration.

Amazon has changed their policies and…

Amazon has changed their policies and returns and customer service. They went from 5 stars to 1 star. Bottom line something happened and they went from being great to not caring about customers anymore. 1) Impossible to reach customer service now. Their system takes you in loops and 99% of people will give up. 2) You pay for returns now. Almost every product is now a 3rd party and you will be charged for returns. If the item is large, odd sized or heavy you are screwed because it will cost you more to ship return then to keep the product. 3) Their A to Z guarantee is useless. Everytime I tried to use it was denied. Closed my account and will be returing to Brick and Mortars stores. In the end I will spend less and have more money without Amazon in my life. Liberate yourself and join the movement and DUMP Amazon.

amazon.CA damages BOOKS
amazon BOOK PACKAGING / SHIPPING METHOD FOR "NEW" BOOKS, GRAPHIC NOVELS, +& MAGAZINES SUCKS!!!
BENT, CHIPPED, CURLED, DAMAGED, DENTED, FINGERPRINTED +& SCRATCHED

amazon NEEDS TO LEARN HOW TO PACKAGE +& SHIP BOOKS PROPERLY
>> CARDBOARD BOOK +& MAGAZINE MAILERS FITTED TIGHTLY WITH PLASTIC BUBBLEWRAP ENVELOPES OVER IT; NOT PAPER AND PLASTIC ENVELOPE BAGS WITH NO PROTECTION!!!
google AI:
"It is a common issue that graphic novels ordered from Amazon arrive damaged due to insufficient and poor packaging practices. Customers often report items being shipped in oversized boxes without adequate padding or in inadequate paper/bubble mailers, leading to bent corners, creased spines, and other damage.
Common Causes of Damage
Inadequate Packaging Materials: Amazon often uses bubble mailers or poly bags for single or even multiple graphic novels, which do not protect the books from bending or blunt force.
Oversized Boxes: Items are frequently placed in boxes much larger than the product with little to no packing paper or bubble wrap, allowing them to move around freely and get damaged in transit.
Rough Handling: An Amazon employee noted that packages sent loose down the line are often thrown, kicked, or wedged between larger boxes, contributing to significant damage.
Moisture/Environmental Damage: Some customers have received books that are warped by moisture or even wet because they were shipped in non-waterproof paper packaging and exposed to rain."

I wrote an email to Customer Support about the courier, Dragonfly, I received an encouraging reply from Amazon.
In the email they gave me instructions on how to lodge a complaint about the courier service.
They instructed me to write Dragonfly with the tracking number included.
I hope that if customers need to contact Amazon customer service that they also get some answers.

They like to rip off people

They like to rip off people, when it comes to returns.
They claimed Abnormal activity, to try to stop paying back $666.84. Not sure if scammers work there, but they wanted me to send in ID to get refunded. Even though there was never a problem. it was for playstation5. Getting rid of Prime and Amazon. Cant trust them. Now must make complaint with bank to get money back.

I’m shocked to see how many terrible…

I’m shocked to see how many terrible reviews Amazon has received. My personal experience, as a customer for many years, has been mainly positive. I’ve ordered a wide variety of items over time, and I’ve only been disappointed on a few occasions. Whenever a purchase wasn’t to my liking or didn’t meet my expectations, the return process was simple and fast, and I received my refund without any issues.

Delivery has always been punctual, and I’m lucky enough to often receive my orders within 24 hours, as promised. Customer service has generally been helpful when needed, and the convenience of shopping, tracking orders, and having reliable delivery makes a big difference for me. Overall, despite a few minor issues over the years, I’m satisfied with this company and will continue to use their services.

How do I leave a -5 Rating

How do I leave a -5? Trying not to freeze, Amazon doesn't check the time a store closes?
I ordered a diesel heater from Amazon, it took 3 days with Prime to be delivered. It was to be delivered to staples, they closed at 5:00pm, I checked the tracker and it send still in transit at 4:55pm.
Now I have an email saying your item has been returned, you will get a refund in 3 to 5 days.
My heater I have now is barely working, and it's the coldest winter for along time, so not only do I not have heat, I have to wait 3 to 5 days before I can even order another heater, then wait for another delivery. Does anyone see a problem with this?
How can I get this heater delivered right away?
Also tell me how do I leave a extremely PISSED off review for Amazon?
Thanks allot Amazon,
Danny

Amazon Shipping very poor choices

Amazon's shipping choices are quite anti-consumerism, what really irritates me is their choice in using Intelcom and Dragonfly to be their "Last mile" shipper of choice, these companies don't care about the customer, their service is terrible, every single time they ship with this company its nothing but a horrible experience. They deliver parcels to my neighbors, they can't follow a GPS they deliver at all hours of the night to random places and then return the package. As of this review I will no longer support Amazon in their decisions of cost saving to make the customer miserable, the reason people used to shop online was for convenience now its better for me to just travel a couple of hours to a store that stocks the item rather than buy it online. Thanks for nothing Amazon.

Customer Support can't help!

Customer Support (from some foreign country) sends emails asking for details that have no reply. The problem is a vicious circle. The best thing to do is cancel your account and move on and deal with another company.

Awful

Awful, just awful. After 4 weeks of "delivering" a Christmas gift they say undeliverable. Strange that everyone else can find the address.
Amazon is a disgrace using Dragonfly as a last mile option.

Amazon Prime is a SCAM to grab your money

My own heater fan broke down on 12 Jan, so I immediately ordered a new one to replace it. At the checkout, Amazon urged me to sign up again for PRIME for guaranteed delivery the next day. It's cold in here, so I got suckered out of my money, and the fan was not delivered. Now, beside "tracking" (fake tracking while they find a fan to ship) it says delivery 14th OR 15th. That is not Prime. Moreover, while Amazon had grabbed my money promising next-day delivery if I signed up again for Prime, AFTER they pocketed the special delivery fee, they labeled my fan's delivery as "estimated" NOT guaranteed, though I had just paid a Prime fee at their prompting specifically for guaranteed 24-hour delivery.

Amazon literally robbed me for a PRIME payment, then left me freezing without the fan while manipulating their system to pretend I'd be getting 24-hour delivery, with no intention of providing it.

This is the usual lies and manipulations of Amazon. This is why I had previously cancelled so-called "Prime". Because they DO NOT DELIVER next day as promised, you wait for DAYS or longer.

When I realized I was being taken for a ride again by Amazon, I immediately cancelled PRIME on 13 Jan 2026. Amazon STOLE half the Prime payment, refusing to refund the whole thing, while having NOT provided the Prime delivery.

I then phoned Amazon Canada's customer service. A female replied who really didn't seem to give a damn and was just amused that I had been lied to and robbed. She refused to cancel the shipment; she refused to refund the stolen Prime money.

Learn fast, Amazon is not a great place to shop. Check out the competition, there's plenty online. Including Temu and AliExpress, so if you want to wait a long time for something to arrive from China, you can pay a lot less for it if you order direct from China.

Furthermore, in general, for shipments to Montreal, Canada, Amazon uses Intelcom. Intelcom is notorious for tossing the package into the entrance of the apartment block, if not on the cement steps outside, and running away like mad so they don't have to buzz your bell and walk down one flight of stairs to make the actual delivery.

Stay away as Amazon are pure fraudsters…

Stay away as Amazon are pure fraudsters and thieves! I purchased a phone sold and fulfilled by them. The phone disappeared from their inventory after being stuck in a local warehouse. They made every excuse from delays to labor problems not to deliver it. Finally after 1 week they told me it would be 1-2 weeks late in delivery to me! So I cancelled it. Then, a few days later they are refusing my refund! So, Amazon are keeping the phone and my money!!!! Then out of nowhere they now bogusly claim there is "suspicious activity" on my account!!! I just opened it and have had no problems purchasing things except for this nightmare. So, using this bogus excuse they are stealing from me by both keeping my $300 and the phone!!! This is illegal and fraud! I taught in a top Law school and under no circumstances is this anything but outright fraud! Never buy Amazon!!!
