Ordered and paid for a valentine gift…

Ordered and paid for a valentine gift for my husband, it said it had been dispatched and then the day before it was meant to be delivered they said it was out of stock and would refund, I now have no time to get anything else, Valentines day is ruined, would not trust this company again !!!

We’re genuinely sorry to read your review and to hear how disappointed you were, especially as this was a Valentine’s gift for your husband. We completely understand how important it was that this arrived in time.

We were expecting the liquorice from our supplier in time to fulfil it; however, we were unfortunately notified at short notice that the stock would not arrive as scheduled. As soon as we became aware of this — prior to dispatch — we attempted to contact you. We first tried to call, but the phone number provided was incorrect, so we followed up by email to advise and to offer an alternative sweet that could still have been delivered on your requested date.
When we later received your email expressing your frustration, we replied to again offer the alternative option, along with a complimentary upgrade to Saturday delivery, to ensure you still had a gift in time for Valentine’s Day.
As we didn’t receive confirmation to proceed with an alternative item, we were unable to send a replacement and a full refund was issued.

We’re truly sorry your experience fell short on this occasion. While the supplier issue was outside of our control, we did everything we reasonably could to communicate promptly and offer alternative solutions to assist you.

Wonderful Thank You gift hamper

I ordered a Thank You gift hamper, which I was able to tailor to meet the tastes of the recipient, and it was delivered the following day. The reaction was instant and one of utter surprise and delight, the message containing a picture of the hamper open with its contents displayed.
This was the fourth or fifth surprise hamper I have sent in the past three or four years and they have all been received with great joy and gratitude.

Good quality chocolate

Good quality chocolate, delivered on time. If you are someone like me who prefers to order by speaking to a real person on the telephone, rather than online, this is the company use. The lady I spoke to carried out my order most efficiently and was most helpful. I will definitely use them again.

Do not expect customer care. It doesn't exist at Regency Hampers.

I read a lot of reviews before I purchased a hamper from this company and found that most service reviews were very positive. However, I noted that when things went wrong, they didn't want to know. I decided to go ahead though because their website is beautiful and other hamper companies didn't have all that I wanted.
I ordered the mayfair hamper with Prosecco to be delivered on !7th January for my son's birthday. I was excited when the day arrived and I imagined him with his two daughters opening the hamper and squealing with delight as the goodies emerged. I knew they would in all probability have an inside picnic with the smoked salmon, cheeses and prosecco. Unfortinately, the hamper did not arrive. It was delived two days late when my son was getting ready for work and his daughters had gone back home. Although he was pleased to receive the hamper, as he said, the excitement was very diluted because of being on his own.

Unfortunately, when I contacted Regency Hampers, they did now want to know. The suggestion was that I look at the terms and conditions which state that a delivery date cannot be guaranteed. There was no care for my distress due to the back story of why this present to my son was so important. I asked if they might send my son a little present and an apology for the late delivery. I was told that they don't do that sort of thing and as it was the fault of FedEx, I should deal with my complaint through them. "We have carried out our obligation" the so-called customer care person told me. I did not feel cared about at all.

As outlined clearly in our Terms and Conditions at the point of purchase, we are unfortunately unable to guarantee specific delivery dates. While we dispatch all hampers in good faith and on time, once an order is with the courier, delivery is outside of our direct control. During our telephone conversation, you advised that you had also contacted FedEx directly regarding this delay. In this instance, the hamper was dispatched correctly and was ultimately delivered.

We were advised that all contents arrived safely, intact, and fully usable. If this is not the case, or if any items were impacted by the delay, we would encourage you to contact us again so we can review this and assist where possible. As standard practice, we are always happy to replace fresh items if they are affected by courier delays.

We also acknowledge that a Saturday delivery was selected and paid for. As FedEx were unable to fulfil this service and do not operate on Sundays, resulting in delivery on Monday morning, we will of course refund the Saturday delivery surcharge.

We fully understand how frustrating and upsetting it can be when a gift does not arrive as expected, particularly when it is for an important occasion. We are sorry that you felt neglected in our communication. It was never our intention to disregard your feelings, but rather to explain the limitations of what we are able to offer when delivery delays are caused by third-party couriers. Unfortunately, we are not able to send additional gifts as gestures of apology in these circumstances.

Superb Product

I received my hamper yesterday and I have to say I was absolutely delighted with the product.
The quality of the wicker basket is fantastic, complete with the genuine leather buckles and handle I was amazed that you could supply it at the price you do, it took me back to the days when suppliers took pride in their products. The contents again are superb quality and the small wicker basket for the cups is an absolute delight, my wife adores it.
The box that it arrived in also amazed me with its quality, and I have taken to using it in my office as a document box, it is far better quality than you can purchase from office supply companies. We liked it that much I have just ordered another one for a friend wedding anniversary who like country walks and picnics, I know the hamper will be well used and well loved.

Incredible personal service

I set 4 Hampers to my children for Christmas. They each let me know how delighted they were .
I live alone in a retirement home and sometimes have difficulty coping with on line transactions.
A simple telephone call to regency and they solved all of my concerns.
I shall use them again and have no hesitation in recommending them
