The worst customer service

I had a car ordered and have cancelled the order and was advised my refund would return within a week. I first emailed and called on the 17th February. I’m still waiting. The sales rep James does not give updates and I’ve asked for the manager to call me and he also doesn’t respond. I would like my refund!! This service is the worst. I again acknowledge people are busy but why can’t you respond to messages or emails. No one is that busy!

Avoid Renault Cardiff

Renault Cardiff, avoid like the plague, absolutely appalling after care.

Salesman told me the car was immaculate
As I bought it on line, And I took his word for it after waiting nearly two hours in the cold office, he told me the car was ready we had to drive it home to Bristol with wet seats and used our coats to sit on, it wasn’t until we were driving the car home we realised how filthy the car was, it was covered in mould residue, the car was returned twice for valeting and twice returned filthy. So I have now decided to have it Detailed cleaned myself.

I Emailed the sales manager today 04/02/2022 manager and sent pictures, only to be told he was sorry a 3 year old car costing £15500 was not up to MY standard. Why ever happened to the customer is alway right, especially when I traded in a car that was in show room condition.
I would hate to think what Renault standards are.

Wish I could add the photos.

Appalling sevice

I emailed them twice about a car was interested in, no response.
I phoned on 5 occasions and spoke to two different salesmen they said they would come back with details they never bothered, I tried to speak to the sales manager to complain, but he was busy. All I wanted to do was buy a new car from them. I figured if the service was so appalling before I purchased the car, it would possibly be worse with their after sales, so I purchased the car from another dealership. bad show Renault Retail.

"Dreadful" London West

"Dreadful""Worst Dealer In London" "Do Not Spend Your Money Here"
I reserved a van online, only to be told it was sold to someone else,a clear breach of consumer rights,"promising something that has not being delivered"When you reserve online you get confirmation that its your and no one else..QUOTE."You've reserved your vehicle. And now it's reserved,
it stays reserved and no one else can get their hands on it"..A Lie
I wasted a whole day waiting for London west to give me a clear awnser but were very evasive..Paul at head was helpful, but still no good.Imagine
you booked tickets to the FA cup final,to be told at the gate your tickets were sold to someone else??"Hello" I have drove Renaults for over 35 years but will never buy another one due to this unfair mistreatment
If you need a vehicle in west london there are plenty of others.
I hope this review is helpful and fair.

Terrible customer service

I purchased a Renault Captur from this dealership less than a year ago in good faith it was in complete working order, with no faults or issues. Less than 10 months later, I discover the floor of my car is soaking wet and the leak is coming from beneath the car.

I attempted to book in immediately for Renault London West to take a look, but they had no availability for months and would not be able to provide me with a courtesy car, so I booked at Renault Watford - being advised by the person booking me in on the phone, this would not be an issue as they were both Renault dealerships.

They advised me the leak was due to a blocked scuttle panel, and the work required to clear it out and fully dry the car would cost almost £600 - as well as telling me that the blockage looked as though it had been there for lot longer than I'd had the car (as you can see from the photos - what were apparently once twigs and leaves have now turned to sludge).

I emailed Stephen when I was advised of this (from Renault London West) who responded promptly and advised it was clearly down to me as I must have parked it outside and under trees.

My car is parked either on my driveway at home, which is completely free of leaves, or in an indoor carpark at work, so it's definitely not because I've parked it underneath trees - completely ignoring the fact that I should be able to park it outside without worrying that a leaf might cause me £600 worth of repairs.

Further investigation across Renault forums showed this issue to be a common issue with Renaults, and something that absolutely should have been checked before the car was sold to me.

Stephen advised if I provided him with the invoice of the work required and proof that the blockage hadn't occurred whilst the car was in my possession, we could come to a "mutually acceptable conclusion" yet has not responded to a single email I have sent since - despite providing the report from the mechanic, photos, and the invoice for the work carried out. Nor has he provided me with proof the scuttle panel was checked and unblocked before the car was sold to me which I have asked for.

I have been without my car for almost 4 weeks now, while the repairs have been carried out, and I have been told I cannot collect it until payment has been sorted out- which I am unable to do until Renault London West engage with me further.

I am a very unhappy customer.

Took my car in for a service and MOT to Renault London West last week. Fantastic service from the service team especially Courtney Morgan who is always welcoming and friendly. I received updates on my car’s progress via phone call and video - very informative and re-assuring. I'll be going back for future services

Well deserved 5* Romford

What can I say?!
Upon arrival to Renault Romford, staff were welcoming as always and friendly.
Took my car for service and MOT, was given a beautiful courtesy car to accommodate my requirements and was a smooth service from start to finish.
Received updates on my car’s progress via phone call and video - very informative.
Sadly, my daughter was taken ill and we have been in hospital at the time my courtesy car was due back and my car was ready.
Terry couldn’t do enough for us. Terry Gerard went above and beyond for me, assured me to not worry as they will sort something.
We spoke today, I paid over the telephone and my car was delivered to my home to make ease of my situation.
Not many garages would have been so helpful but Renault Romford went out of their way and left me with a smile.
Thanks SO much. I’m truly grateful for your kindness, empathy and professionalism.

Took my car in for servicing

Took my car in for servicing, it came back with a rocker oil leak which turns out to be a very common issue with the Dacia Sandero. Instead of taking it upon themselves to fix a common issue that they are aware of, they instead tried to charge me £480! I do not recommend buying a car with Renault/Dacia as there are always issues. Bear in mind I've had the car for 4 years now (BEING A LONG TERM CUSTOMER MEANS NOTHING TO THEM) and it has done less than 19k miles. Yes it was initially cheap to buy and run however with all the issues it has given me, I would next time pay a little bit more and go to another dealer. Also the people at Enfield Renault/Dacia are sometimes moody and seem like they don't want to help you :S

I visited Renault London West (Western…

I visited Renault London West (Western Avenue) to test drive the CAPTUR.

My entire booking and test drive was handled by a super lovely and very efficient young man, JAMES KALAVAZIDES.

Not only did he send me a video booking via email to confirm our booking, he kept in touch with email and text.

On the day we arrived a little earlier, yet this was not an issue for him. He left what he was doing got the car ready and took us through all the COVID issues of the car loan as well as my booking process.

Throughout the booking we were engaged in conversation covering many subjects, many bringing many points of laughter.

He spent as much time as I needed and explained every part of the booking process and possible sale with me.

Even after the test drive was over he maintained an interest in my opinion and again conversation and banter was free flowing.

He was aware I was test driving another car and was happy to await my feedback on my decision at my convenience.

I can tell from this interaction with him that he takes great pride in his job and it is about the whole experience not just the sale, for him.

I am sure he is a genuine asset to his department and an immensely important cog in the wheel of car sales.

It was a pleasure to have met him and had his touch to my test drive experience.

By far the best test drive experience that I have had.

He is a very charming young man and I would recommend anyone wanting to test drive a Renault to book it with James Kalavazides at Renault London West.

Reanult customer services are SHOCKING …

Reanult customer services where truly awful in helping me with a rejected warranty claim for corrosion. They made up excuse after excuse so they did not have to pay for this repair i submitted this claim in november 2020 and they did not get back to me until april 2021 they did not reason with me at all and they also had no technical experience truly let down by Renault customer services to say the least.

Renault Solihull - Poor

Renault Solihull. Booked car in for service. £159 later and get home to read the service schedule. Didn't even change the oil, just a cabin filter at £22.50. The advised they could change the disc pads for £300+, yeah right, Says something when I would choose Kwik-fit over these clowns. Dis-honest outfit with a well deserved poor reputation in every respect.

Exceptionally bad approved used

What ever you do get a second opinion AA or RAC of your car if you decide to buy from here. Especially if it’s Renault Croydon. When they say Don’t worry it comes approved it’s going to go through the workshop, it literally means driven through from one side to the other!!! If they won’t put 12months MOT on the car it’s because it needs some work doing.. Misleading advice, lies and tales from the start. Ernie Bolingbroke Sales man and Mark Harris Jumped up used car sales manager ought to be sacked by the company.
Rude and arrogant some one send them on a customer relations and retention course they need it.

1 over priced by £1000-£1500
2 bits / plastics missing and wrong brake light bulb fitted.
3 Approved by Renault means absolutely nothing. Maybe that it has 4 wheels! I’m sure Renault do not approve brakes that need replacing as they click and clunk in the callipers when braking! cracks in tyres, dents, scratches, trouble starting cheap Chinese tyres on a car. Tyres being under 4mm after 2000 miles driving.
4 Been back to local RRG Renault 4-5 times for same problem only to be told it is what I had told them in the first place months ago but isn’t covered as it’s a serviceable part!
5 Water entering the car as the holes that let water flow out From rain at the front were blocked ! I have had to remove parts and sort myself as I have no confidence in Renault doing the job . It was quicker and easier than dealing with them. I have had the car only 4 months now and am worried what’s next to go wrong? It has 12 months extended warranty but it seems not much is covered.
All they had to do was take the car in drop off a courtesy car and fix all the problems it has. Or replace the car for another one similar with no faults...Surely it’s quicker and makes more sense to keep customers happy. My problems are now being dealt with by the motor ombudsman.
Look somewhere else and do not buy over internet via sales without going to see the vehicle .... good luck

Renault wolverhamptons have lost the plot

Renault wolverhamptons excellent service is down to one person. Salesman james hodgson. Over the years we have bought many cars and recommended freinds and family to this dealership because of the absolutely first class service from james. Sadly we will no longer be doing this as quite unbelievably they are making him redundant. We can only believe that he makes others look bad and jealousy as crept in as we know that he has been there number 1 salesman for years. We shall be taking our business to him wherever he goes. Shame on you renault and good luck james
