We have had an issue with our Rangemaster for several months and no one was able to sort the problem I contacted Repairtech and discussed the problem they booked me an engineer and sent the parts to him directly he contacted us the same day and booked in to fit the part the following week he arrived today rectified the issue and a couple of others fully inspected the gas cooker and went on his way I can whole heartedly recommend this company and the engineer and parts they supplied.
Kind regards Mark and Clare

Brilliant service. I couldn’t get my Rangemaster Classic 90 to work on either oven setting and couldn’t find the correct reset instructions online. Josh helped me correctly identify my model of oven and guided me through how to solve the issue without the need for an engineer. Delighted that it’s now fully working.

Samuel was able to guide me through to the exact replacement product I needed, made sure that it was in stock AND that it would be delivered to me in time for my engineer's visit. All of this was BEFORE I was asked to pay for it. I'm relieved to say that the part arrived on time was the part I needed and that I now have a functioning oven! What more could I ask for!! Thanks again Samuel.

I contacted them needing someone to repair a range cooker that stopped working. Was told an engineer would contact me within 48 hours to book a visit.
I was actually contacted within 30 mins, and Paul the engineer was available the next day. He sorted the problem in that visit.
If it had taken the 2 days for someone to get in contact, longer for them to be free and for them to need more than one visit I wouldnt have been surprised, this was really good service.

Job number: 167737. I dealt with Mike Longmore. He is excellent. He responded promptly to my initial enquiry and effectively scheduled the servicing and subsequent repair of my Mercury range. Luke, the engineer, is top. Polite and respectful of my property.
Mike also advised on cleaning my range. He sourced a clean. Daryl, the appliance engineer who cleaned my range, is also top, being equally respectful of my property and polite.
My range is sparkling clean and serviced. My appreciation to all 3 individuals, coordinated by Mike. I will come back to Repairtech.

Josh was remarkably helpful. He found a replacement part as an alternative even though the manufacturer had discontinued the part I needed. Wonderful service, thank you

I needed a spring for the inside of a Rangemaster 110 Gas/Electric Cooker in our church kitchen. Sadly these were not stocked but a replacement knob was available. I spoke with Tom and he directed me to where the Serial Number was on the cooker on a Friday afternoon and once he had this detail he arranged for a new knob to be despatched to me which arrived on the following Monday lunchtime.
What better service could one receive than this?
Thanks to the whole firm for such efficient service.

I rang Repairtech as I was looking for a spare part for a Rangemaster fridge/freezer. Although the part I wanted was described as out of stock, the person I spoke with (Samuel) tracked down something suitable for me and I had it a couple of days later. Great service and can't fault. Thank you Sam.

Engineer was very friendly, helpful and completed the work in a professional manner

The worst customer service i have received as a retailer in over 25 years.
Samantha was very rude and unhelpful and was not prepared to listen to myself or the customer at all.

Unless you have no other alternative for your AGA do not use this service.
I was charged £240 upfront for a first visit which lasted 20 minutes and was given no credit towards the follow up work needed. Whilst the fault was correctly diagnosed I was charged just under £1200 for work which took one engineer max 4 hours. The parts were no more than £400. I have left 2 messages with management to call me to discuss the appalling service and no one has called.

My 3-year-old range master cooker, which had little use, developed a fault with the gas flow to the rings. I told the support desk that this was the fault, and they said that it needed a service and charged me £250. An engineer arrived a few days later and said that the cooker was like new and didn't need a service - the service pack included oven seals and door hinges. The ovens were not used on the cooker. The service engineer said that there was a problem with the valves in the hob and it didn't need a service, it needed a repair, which was not covered by the service. I have wasted £250 on a service I didn't need and now have to pay for a repair and replacement of the valves, which will be another £300. I have been ripped off as the customer service and RepairTechUK did not listen to the description of the fault.

Josh at Repairtech was very efficient and helpful even sourcing a part that is no longer made - once I had the serial number I couldn't believe how easy and swift the ordering process was. The several parts will bring our 2011 old Rangemaster back to sizzling life. Thank you for speedy cheerful assistance!

The best thing I found when using Repairtech Services, was the speed and efficient parts delivery (next day). I ordered a replacement oven door seal, thankfully the part arrived the following day, just as well as it was the Easter weekend - an oven out of use on a bank holiday would have been a problem for us.

I inherited a fairly old and obsolete Rangemaster Classic 90 from a house I bought. The wok burner finally gave up the ghost. Rangemaster were helpful but had to pass me over to Repairtech for out of warranty and obsolete cookers. Kate Butler from Repairtech handled my case and arranged for an engineer, Charlie, to come to my house. Kate was excellent and managed my situation well, taking into account all my disabilities and health issues. It did take a while to arrange an engineer as both Rangemaster and Repairtech did not typically have engineers based in the southwest. Unfortunate but I didn't mind as the rest of the cooker seemed to work.
Charlie, the engineer, visited today and replaced my wok burner though it seemed like there may have been a few more complications than expected (just a guess on my part). He also checked the other hobs and both ovens and confirmed all was well with them too. Really wonderful service! Charlie also gave my guide dog a big fuss, which made her very happy!
Thanks again to Kate and Charlie for their help!

Three years ago we had an intermittent smell of gas from our Rangemaster range cooker. An engineer came out From Repairtech, organised by Rangemaster, a delightful man. He pulled out the cooker and tested connections behind and took off the hob and tested those connections. He could find nothing and left. I didn't blame him as the smell was intermittent. I had a service for the oven a couple of months ago as it was getting slower to heat up, and it was the same man. He replaced the door seal but I don't think he did anything else. He commented that the flames on the hob were looking a bit yellow and told me that if they went totally yellow I would need to buy a new cooker. And charged £250. I really wanted to get to the bottom of the smell of gas which had not gone away. I had read on the internet that it was probably the hose from the cooker to the gas supply. I did not want to have Repairtech back as I didn't think the engineer was that competant. I found an independent engineer who came this week. He pulled out the cooker and immediately noticed that the connection hose from the cooker to the gas supply was upside down. Something the Repairtech man had failed to notice. He replaced it. Everything else appeared to be OK but when he checked the hob, he found that it had not been screwed back properly and the burners were standing proud of the top. He thought this could be the cause of the yellowish flames. (I would not ever have noticed if the Repairtech man had not pointed it out) He tested throughly. He spent three hours making sure that the flames were definitely blue. He also tightened up the door to the cooker. So the Repairtec engineer had failed to spot the hose was upside down, should have known that the hose could have minute perforations and changed it. And he failed to tighten the door when doing the "service". And he had left the hob not having screwed it down properly 3 years ago. So I have paid Repairtec around £400 for a door seal and nothing else. It is now working fine, the tightening of the door has made the oven heat quicker and there is no smell of gas.
Concerning the reply from Repairtech. The smell of gas had been intermittent from the time of their first visit to the second. I had given up trying to track it down as there was no way to predict when it happened. I may or may not have mentioned it to the engineer on the second visit. It was on this second visit that the engineer pointed out the amount of yellow in the flame. He said " I am not going to condemn the cooker but watch out if the flames become all yellow" I had not noticed the yellow before. He pointed it out to me. i asked him what to do if they became all yellow. He said " Buy a new cooker" After his visit I kept an eye out. Sometimes there was yellow in the flame and sometimes not. About two months later the flames became yellow on one particular morning. At this stage I arranged for another engineer to come. When he came he changed some parts in the burners and since then the flames have been solidly blue. Not even a mix of yellow and blue as we had had. So I did not need a new cooker

I had my 9-year old Rangemaster gas cooker serviced for the first time. Repairtech arranged a date for me within a few days of me contacting them. The service engineer was very thorough and helpful, which gave me confidence that my cooker will continue to work well for years to come.
