Their 'help' service is fantastic. Literally nothing is too much and they got back to me so quickly.

ResDiary harass me with unsolicited marketing emails on a regular basis.
I have repeatedly tried to complain to them about this, however, they have repeatedly failed to respond to me or send me a copy of their formal complaints handling procedure.

I think the Resdiary app is great and it has saved me so much time from the manual booking system that I used before.
The initial training session was great but afterwards I was working on the App and a little overawed - but you can raise a ticket and the team get back to you quickly.
I tried to search function (before raising a ticket) and I think this is a definite area for improvement as you can't seem to find what you need.
Key point is they don't charge you for every booking (like the rivals) and as long as they keep this active then it is the best option for a small independent outlet.

I booked a table through resdiary last week for 9pm. I had a email confirming that time yet when I arrived at the restaurant I was berated by a member of staff for being 15 mins late, and made to feel like they were now doing me a favour by seating me.
I showed them the booking confirmation to prove I wasn’t late.
Yet today I got an email asking me to review the restaurant and the booking time on this was 8.45!
So somehow your booking system isn’t working correctly and I can see this causing many issues for customers.
