System works amazing and they keep you up to date on any improvements they make to the system. I enjoy the hell out of it and definitely enjoy seeing my kids play games that I used to play all the time back in the day. Definitely suggest you get one

I ordered the deluxe retro drive or whatever and for the most part it didn’t disappoint. I mean mostly because their were a few N64 games that didn’t run perfect but you know what, having literally thousands of other games with NES, SNES, Sega, and all the other was well worth it. I understand it would be slightly cheaper to do it myself if I bout a raspberry pie and then took the time to program it and add thousands of games..... but yeah I’m not going to do that. Take days maybe weeks to get this thing right? Or pay like 50 extra dollars to have it done with what I’ve experienced, the best customer service I’ve I had. Any issue I had was addressed immediately and when I wanted something much stronger that could run everything including GameCube? Without hesitation I was hooked up with a nvidia shield. It is absolutely amazing and I really with big companies looked after you the way I was with retro drive. If they see this review I want them to know I appreciate it. They brought to life an old experience for my wife that was lost with the Dreamcast. A game that cost nearly 300$ and more. Skies of Arcadia. I was able to get that and plus like 10k games... I am more than happy with my purchase. No lies. And help when I needed it.

I was over all satisfied with this seller. Although for reasons (not of the sellers fault) i had to return the item and was refunded properly. I would recommend them to friends and family tho

Excellent product and even more excellent customer service. Its rare to find a business that quickly responds to emails and is so willing to help their customers, but Retro Drive does. This company has been very helpful with every question and or issue I’ve had. They’re always there to help even though it occasionally may take a day or so to respond they’re very kind and go in depth with their answers. The Fully loaded Nvidia Shield is top notch and I have no complaints whatsoever. If you’re looking for the perfect nostalgic emulator from a great company with 1000’s of iconic games I highly recommend Retro Drive 5 stars!

Received the deluxe drive yesterday. Shipping did not take that long (less than two weeks) and Retro Drive answered all my Facebook messages even when I had a lot. The system is pretty neat given the form factor. The only issue I had was that the controller didn’t come already paired to the console or maybe it did and I didn’t know. Maybe some brief instructions on a piece of paper would suffice, nonetheless I figured it out with a google search but I am confident that they would have helped if I messaged them. The games run as expected. I am aware of some N64 game’s not being optimal because that’s how emulation works however I am shocked at how well PS1 looks and run! Overall I like this product and I recommend it, the only thing I would say is to add some brief instructions. I would consider ordering from them in the future for that Nvidia Shield.

Ordered a month ago. And still have not received my order. Lack of communication from them. I'm really disappointed in them. Was really looking forward to playing games with my kids birthday.

Yes the pandemic slowed the process down but RetroDrive maintained contact and kept me up to date throughout the entire process.

Only thing I would do is send some instructions as far as getting to all the systems and how to add games if you wanted to other wise it is awesome so far the GameCube seems to run pretty terrible.... after a month or 2 I was contacted and they are making a guide that they will be putting on YouTube about how to operate the device. Seems like they really do care about how the machine runs and how they can make it better.

At first...there were a few hiccups when I first received it, but Aimee quickly sent me another card of updates that fixed most of it. The new card contains many more games, and Dreamcast is now playable! I especially love access to game cheats that allow me to beat games that I couldn't without them. I have a crazy amount of games that would take many lifetimes to play them, and all my favorite NES, SNES, SEGA, and arcade games are on it. You have to get this, I promise you won't be disappointed! I'm reliving my childhood and I freakin love it! A little bit of time is needed to hash out controls for some games but other than. That im loving my purchase

I paid for priority shipping early in june and its August now with no added info to tracking. It's been in the same location and I'm not reviewing anything I don't physically have yet. This is still up for change if I ever receive the product.

I have received the Retro drive, I expected a delay with the pandemic. I did order mine with 2 ps4 dualshock controllers and 2 8bit controllers. What I got was 2 steam/x-box style controllers and 2 8bit nintendo controllers... no biggie but not what I ordered. Other than that the games I asked for are in and work great. My only complains are that the gamecube games are a little laggy and none of the controllers given are compatible with the N64 games since there's no option to map the Z button. Hopefully an update can help but this is a great product either way. THANKS.

Still have not received my order. Sent email last week asking about it. Still no reply. Please help resolve this.

I order the Shield and it runs great. I had a slight problem about finding a game and they helped out big time. Just be wary that the GameCube games will not run at full speed. Not the product's fault but more of the GameCube specs. Other wise everything runs well and with the huge selection of games it is well worth the price.

Took almost a month to get here than forgot my sd card so I can’t even play the games .

I love my Nvidia Shield! The guys were very helpful and responsive when I had questions. There may be delays on shipments because of covid, but other than that everything it's great. Love playing all the old games I loved as a child. They brought back my childhood.

After looking at several retro systems on Facebook, I decided to go with the Retro Drive Holiday Bundle because of the Sega Genesis games on it. I ordered it while unemployed temporarily because of the virus and their representative Aimee was very helpful in allowing me to split my payment over two invoices and making sure specific games were on the system. Because of the COVID 19 situation, there was a big delay in shipping my system so they gave me an extra SNES controller free. I finally received the system and while playing realized their was an issue with the SD card in missing part of the game library. The folks at Retro Drive were right on it, actually sending me the upgraded SD card with more games at no extra charge. The system works and plays great. I would highly recommend both the product and the company and just ask you to be patient and understanding with the shipping time...its well worth the wait.

I need some sort of manual for this thing the N64 has been moving slowly and same with the DS. The controller doesn't work for Kodi I would just like these features to work other than that most of the old school Nintendo's work
