Lost my car+house keys

Lost my car+house keys! Within minutes a good Samaritan reported the lost keys to ReturnMe and I got an email while we were still at the shopping centre! We were able to meet up with this great bloke and collect our keys!!

Another renewal

I renewed my membership by upgrading to Gold for 2 years. It took some time for my goods to arrive - but the mail service had been appalling.

Communication, after a sluggish start, was very supportive and the company had replacements out quickly when my first batch never arrived.

I've been with them for several years and love the peace of mind having my luggage labeled gives me.

To clarify, we shipped your order just an hour after receiving it on October 9th, and we responded to your email on November 12th within a few hours, asking for confirmation of your mailing address. Unfortunately, we didn’t hear back from you after that follow-up on November 13th.

We just tried to call you and left a message and also just emailed you. Could you please confirm if this is correct? We also noticed that your ReturnMe account, activated back in 2019, has a different zip code. This might be causing the issue.
We’d really like to resolve this for you as soon as possible. Please let us know how we can help. We hope you can see that we’ve been proactive in trying to assist and would never ignore or try to mislead you.

ReturnMe shipped my laptop back to me!

I left my laptop on a plane after landing in New York City. I took the next day as a day of rest. So I didn't realize I was missing it until well into the next day. The airline rep said that if I hadn't heard by that point it was probably stolen. The next day we got a call from ReturnMe. An airline rep in North Carolina noticed the ReturnMe label and called. Because we had Silver status with ReturnMe, they handled the shipment and covered the cost! Amazing! The only downside was that it took FedEx six days to get it to me! I didn't mark down ReturnMe, because if I'd paid extra I'm sure they would have gotten it to me overnight.

Great experience

Great experience. Left my motor bike keys in my motor bike top box lock. Someone saw them, picked them up, called FoundMe and I had an email from them before I even knew I'd left them on my bike. Had my keys back in under an hour. Awesome save.

My ReturnMe Tags Didn’t Arrive On Time

My ReturnMe Tags took too long to arrive at my home. They arrived 2 days after I left for a 24-day European Cruise/Vacation (which I am still on). Therefore, they didn’t do me one bit of good because they were delivered to my home & placed on my front porch. Hopefully, they haven’t been stolen or destroyed because of the So. Florida Tropical Storms that have hit my home every day since I left on 10/19/2024.

When I ordered my ReturnMe Tags, I had almost two weeks before my European Trip began. At the same time I ordered a 6-pack of Custom Engraved Luggage Tags from Amazon.

My Amazon Package of Luggage Tags arrived on 10/16/2024… My ReturnMe Tags arrived after 10/19/2024 in a simple envelope.

There really was no excuse why it should have taken more than 10-days for my ReturnMe Tags to arrive.

11-14-2024 - Unfortunately ReturnMe is not Amazon and we don't have Prime monthly membership service.
When you checkout on our website we offer free shipping and it's mentioned how many business days the order will arrive (depending where you live it can be between 3 to 7 business days). You also have the option to pay for express shipping to arrive in 2 days.

I have been a member of Return Me for…many years

I have been a member of Return Me for many years and this was the first time that I had lost something
They were so quick to get back back to me; that I did not realize that I had forgotten it!!!
The experience made me feel more confident that I could trust ReturnMe with my other valuables
As President of a non profit that travels internationally, I plan to place them on all of our international baggage!

Great service. Peace of mind.

Great service I’ve had for years. I recently lost my keys on a Chicago street and they were found and I was contacted by ReturnMe in less than three hours. It saved me both the trouble but also cost of replacing keys and a security / building entry fob. Peach of mind. In addition to key tags, I have their stickers in passports, TSA cards, etc.

RETURN.ME VIOLATES YOUR PRIVACY

02.11.2024 I found a car key with a tag of RETURN.ME, so I provided my phone number (luckily not my name and email). To my horror and distress, instead of a RETURN.ME AGENT dealing with this matter, they gave my personal mobile number to the key owner, who is a total STRANGER to me, and could be a criminal or mental health patient!! They don’t respect the privacy of the finder! And they promise a reward on the website, which they conveniently “forget” to mention when you contact them with the lost property! The owner of the key was texting me and calling me at 6 o’clock in the morning (crazy guy woke me up) & I took it straight to the police station. Not dealing with a total stranger! This company RETURN.ME should be reported! They give your details to a total stranger, and they conveniently “forget” the promised reward! Do not provide your personal details, they don’t respect your PRIVACY and the owner could be a criminal or psycho!! You’re not safe, and could be getting yourself a stalker, a security problem or worse!
14.11.2024 Your response is MISLEADING. Your website does NOT make it clear AT ALL that if I provide my details, that you will pass them to the person who lost the item! And you don’t make the Courier option clear either! I would have obviously preferred the Courier. As to the $50 reward you promise the finder, that is also MISLEADING as you do not honour this. Moral of the story: this company should be reported!
15/11/2024: FURTHER UPDATE: Notice how the $50 reward has now turned into a Gift Certificate with them - a company I would NEVER USE! Once you have experienced dishonesty from someone, it just doesn’t get better! Forget it!

Sorry to hear about this. Please note ReturnMe respects both the owners and finders privacy which is how we've managed to help over 110,000+ recoveries from around the world.

When reporting a found item, finders have the option to have the item picked up by a courrier and not share their personal information with the owner, unfortunately you didn't select this option which is why the owner was given your number.

If you would have selected this option we wouldn't have shared your information with the owner but it wasn't selected.

Sorry again for any inconvenience in this manner and thank you for helping one of our members get back their lost item.

14.11.2024 - Once again we are sorry about any misunderstandings. On our website when you fill out the report there is a check box that stats if you are ok with the owner contacting you or if you prefer that we send a courrier. Please note we have hundreds of recoveries every month we take safety and security very seriously and all finders get this question.
As for your reward, that is sent automatically via email and text. I'm guessing you didn't get the text and since you didn't provide an email we couldn't send there. If you are interested in the reward please contact us on our website and we would be happy to offer you the $50 gift certificate as given to everyone that helps one of our members.

Delivery Time is Way Too Slow

The ordering process was straightforward, but in this age of Amazon Prime free same-day or next day delivery, it seems a little archaic to make me wait 1-2 weeks to receive the tags I ordered without even giving me the option of much faster delivery for an additional fee.

Hi Glen, I'm sorry you were dissapointed by the delay. During checkout we clearly mention that our free shipping option does take between 5-8 business days. We also give an option for express shipping which you have the option to pay for 1-2 business days. While Amazon Prime is a great service there is a monthly fee customers pay for that service, we don't have any monthly fee.

My keys were returned

Imagine my surprise when after 3 months of losing a set of keys/fobs I received an email from someone saying that my keys had been found - I was so happy and amazed.

Forgot I was covered!!

I had slipped my car key into my waistband. When I reached into my pocket for the phone, the key fell. I discovered it after exiting a shop to enter my car. I tracked back, asked in each open shop, but didn’t locate it. A shop employee had picked it up, entered his shop and closed before I traced back to him. He called because he was honest and found the tag. I got the email about three days after losing the key! Simply amazed so now I’ve upgraded my account for additional coverage and tags. Thanks!!

Loss of cell phone

My husband's cell was left at TSA checkpoint on a recent trip. He thought he left it at home. We received a prompt message about it being found and choice to have it shipped to us or return ourselves to claim it. the system worked quickly and smoothly and there were no issues in getting it back.

Could have been a disaster

Before I had a chance to realize I had left my purse, I had an email telling me how to recover it. The directions were clear and easy to follow. Returnme stayed in contact with me until I let them know that I recovered my purse. I would love to have this for all of my bags especially when I travel. It lived up to what it said it would do which is rare.

Awesome helpful service from ReturnMe!!

This service is great and very helpful!! I accidentally left my set of keys on the ground at a school by the tennis courts, thinking they'd be still there less than an hour later. I looked for them for hours there and all over my car for days. I emailed the tennis teams and coach, they hadn't found them. Five days later I got an email from ReturnMe saying someone found my keys because of the ReturnMe keychain from Michigan Public Station, and they were open to meeting! The woman had her phone number in the response, I called her right away, she was at the same school where I left them and where I was going to a meeting soon! I met her, thanked her a lot for using the ReturnMe keychain, and I'm SO thankful for having this awesome service to return keys to their owner!! Now I don't have to spend $200 on getting an extra car key fob! I could write 10 positive reviews if I could!

Close encounter of the BEST KIND

This encounter was my third in a year to order additional tags. Customer service was / is Over The Top! Oh, and the custom tag made with a photo of my car next to my jet was made with perfection! Highly recommended company!
