The Roberts Clock/Radio
The Roberts clock/radio I purchased is identical to the previous Roberts model which gave good service for about 15 years. It was encouraging to be able to obtain a new one similar which I did on line, the service was excellent.

Very pleased
After doing a good deal of research, Roberts Radio's came out as one of the very best makes. I tried buying a 3L model from Amazon and after a long wait, they sent the wrong one. I should have gone straight to Robert's - they delivered it very quickly. The radio is excellent and I recommend looking up how to set it up on Youtube - there are some helpful videos.

Good reliable radio
Good reliable radio. I have had a few Roberts radios over the decades, and they only give up because of unwarranted abuse by me. One was found in the garden one morning, still playing in the rain, after my gardening session the day before. My most recent was replaced (after a number of years) because I broke the aerial off. This new one is a DAB radio, and I was pleased at how easy it was for me to set up - just turned it on and it found all the stations in my area. I confess I haven't tried other features, like bluetooth, so I can't comment on them, but it is working perfectly for my needs.

BP3 battery pack
I purchased a BP3 battery pack for a Roberts Revival Icon, it was a decent price with free delivery and arrived the next day. Easy to install and works fine giving several hours of power once charged. Bought the radio itself from John Lewis as they had a deal giving a £30 discount. The radio is great and it's really helpful having Amazon Alexa included but it was pretty awful to set up thanks to the lack of any detailed instructions. The most ridiculous thing was having to scrabble around on Google Play to locate and download the Roberts Radio App. which you need to set up the online functionality. Surely a download link on the Roberts website would be helpful. I recently purchased a Polk React soundbar which also includes Amazon Alexa and that was literally just plug and play. Radio sounds great by the way and once installation was complete is a breeze to use.
