Not sure we're to start. Poorly quality goods, no communication. Pricing changing constantly. False promises. John made lots of promises and did not deliver on anything

Lots of reasons to go with this ‘company’, based entirely on our own experience. Too much money clogging up your bank account? No need to worry, John will relieve you of thousands of pounds MONTHS before he ever intends to deliver your windows. Don’t panic about boring refunds either, he’ll get you to pay via bank transfer so that’s not an option. Bored of run of the mill glazing options for your new extension? Buy your bifolds from Roof Lanterns Online and you’ll have practical and hardwearing chipboard where your doors should be for weeks and weeks after the rest of your project has been completed. Added bonus: you don’t have to sit and look at your own back garden! Don’t expect John to take up your valuable time answering or returning any of your texts and phone calls either, as this will almost never happen. Thrown into the experience for free will be: a delightful trip to Derby to pick up your own product because they can’t get hold of a van (even though delivery was included); fun trips to your lawyer; the invaluable skill of filing Small Claims paperwork (those 2 aren’t strictly free but are great craic so well worth it); and something to talk about every night with your partner till your blood pressure reaches thrilling levels. The faecal icing on this excrement filled cake for us was that when our bifolds were installed, 8 months after payment, we discovered huge smears ON THE INSIDE of the sealed units. We couldn’t be more grateful, since now we don’t have to worry about pigeons flying into pristine glass and fu€%ing braining themselves. John really is a top lad.

Can't fault the expectional quality of Windows & Doors delivered by Trade Glaze Derby. The windows are different to most alternatives out there and look premium!

Management staff were swift & supportive from initial design consultations to final delivery and fitment. Despite a small delay which is common across all supply chains/trades nowadays the job was completed quickly and to a high standard!

I will definitely be purchasing from here for future projects! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Doesn't even deserve 1 star, waited 6 months for a 29k incomplete job. Cost me over 6k to get finished by a different company

Please save yourself the stress and go elsewhere. Order was placed in June 21 for a roof lantern and bi fold doors and was told there would be a two week turn around time. 1st lie. Roof lantern was finally fitted in November on their 2nd visit, when the 1st visit consisted of 1 lad turning up on his own without any ladders to lift a 4m Roof lantern on his own. John said he'd sacked that man as he was useless. 2nd lie. Same bloke turns up on the 2nd visit, my plasterer happened to be working and gave two of the lads help lifting it onto the roof. Was told bifolds would be in by Xmas. 3rd lie. After what seemed hundreds of texts trying to get a response from John we was told the glass still hadn't been ordered and the doors would be fitted in January. 4th lie. Doors finally Turned up in March 22 with one bloke on his own and I had to carry the panes of glass with him as he said he wasn't an actual delivery driver just doing John a favour as he normally drives for his bouncy castle business. When they finally turned up to fit the doors they didn't have a drill to fit the doors to the frame and asked my partner if he had one. We had two further visits and they still couldn't fix the doors in or the seals in the window. It is now August 22 and we have all the seals internally still sticking out as it's too long. Will have to get them fitted correctly by a proper company. Loads of people have messaged me saying they have received the same issues. I can only presume the good reviews are being left by his mates, as all I've seen is people suffering with the same experience as me.

FANTASTIC COMPANY! These guys are so helpful, ordered a few roof lanterns and had no issues, delivery time was spot on. Very pleased with the product. Will definitely use the company again for further work.

Took payment for our doors nearly 8k and left us with a smashed pane of glass, broken glass at the property, clips and beading missing. wanted us to pay full balance for the fitting also before coming to rectify,as they class these works as remedials. Then used pictures and videos on their CONSTRUCTION GLAZING GROUP LTD instagram page without our knowledge of permission. Have several companies he hides behind: John is listed director of the following companies: SUN CHARIOT CONSULTING LIMITED; ROOF LANTERNS ONLINE LTD; UK TRADE NETWORK LTD; CONSTRUCTION GLAZING GROUP LTD. John will bully you into making payments and once payment taken wont answer calls and if you call him too much or chase he will accuse you of being horrible customers who they dont want to work with!! Daniela and John both untrustworthy. The hide comments on facbook and instagram and block if you post anything. SHOCKING ON EVERY LEVEL

Ordered a roof lantern that turned up smashed at the doorstep
Had to wait for another panel when we was on a time schedule then, now waiting 4 months again for a spare part which they have said they have sent twice but they haven't.Offered to pay for the part and pay for postage to ensure we get it. Keep being lied too, told its been sent when it clearly hasn't, can't see that the royal mail can fail to make 2 deliveries or even a courier
Send contact messages but have stopped responding. Still got a damaged lantern , left totally hanging!! Not professional at all.

Ordered 12 sliding sash windows with all the kit (grey on white, astral bars, brass furniture, etc.) from John.

There was a 4 week delay, but John was always responsive with updates and chasing the manufacturer down to hurry the process along.

Windows arrived, have been fitted by my window fitter, and look fantastic.

you guys never answer my calls or messages, called so many times, came to your office (Drove for 7 hours both ways) excuses after excuses, its a planned scam... please AVOID this business at any cost. still no response to my CCJ against you. i found another company, in-fact this is chapter than you and came and fixed within 5 days. if they can get it within 5 days, its NOT SUPPLY ISSUES. its your company getting money and not ordering the products.

Yes I got my refund,albeit once the court issued the ccj,and as you have not paid the court fee the ccj still stands.You delete any negative comments from your ig page. As I pointed out in my original review,you DID threaten to write negative comments about my business and I have the recorded conversation to prove it! The ONLY reason you called me that day was because you were told there was a whatts app group set up with a dozen or so customers who were all fed up with your lies and bs.....
You really should not be allowed to be a director of any business and should be struck off ...
People can also see the negative Google and facebook reviews for extra clarification to avoid you and your other businesses

The 1-2mm tolerance is an understatement. The glass was too small for the frames. In some cases, the spacer bar was pertruding by more than 8mm. This may have been an error on behalf of the manufacturer, however you are our supplier and the issue was not resolved which resulted in us buying all new glazing ourselves. Furthermore, the installation resulted in scratches on most of the glass units and aluminium. Not to mention the countless other installation and communication issues.

We went directly to the manufacturer ourselves to due your lack of professionalism and communication. At no point were you excluded from the remedial. In fact, you were very much involved (even attending a meeting with the manufacturer to specifically discuss our order) up until the point that you stopped answering our calls and messages.

We've given you countless chances over the year to rectify our problems. We even delayed legal action in the hope that you would come to your senses.

Johnny, you are a fraud, incredibly unprofessional and shouldn't be anywhere near a business. It really is time to stop blaming so many others and take a look in the mirror. You are not capable of running a business. Please do the right thing and refund all the people your have fraudulently taken money from, close the business and don't ever set up in business again.

Finally, please remove the photo of our house from your Instagram page which insists we are 'another happy customer'. This has never been the case and is false advertising.

You are a serial sociopathic liar that should be nowhere near a business. Every reply you write is filled with excuses and lies where you accept NO responsibility for being the absolute WORST company I have ever dealt with.

People do NOT fall for these fake five star reviews!! Get your stuff ANYWHERE else. You'd be better with a hole in the ceiling than use these lot for a roof lantern.

I found Roof Lanterns Online on google and visited showroom with out an appointment and my overall experience to this point was good. After this I booked in a survey with Sean and John came and surveyed my home. The price was right and up to now the service was great. After I had ordered my windows and doors with in 10 days the PVC windows had arrived on site, Fantastic! I did however order a set of aluminium sliding patio doors which were delayed but I was kept informed of this weekly/fortnightly - The doors have since been delivered and installed and I am over the moon with them! Great team and great service overall (aside from the delay) *****

Have to say ordered two sets of heritage doors from John I have to say there were some delays but they did arrive to a Fantastic standard. There were delays with my whole build due to supply issues.John was so accomodating he even paid to temporarily board up our home. Would highly recommend. My experience with working with John was not what some of these reviews say it was just delays with the manufacturer of the doors.

Do not order from this company.
Ordered in November with a promised 6 week delivery. Told In December week before they were due to arrive that the company knew of no delays. January was ignored by John multiple times. I finally managed to get through by calling off a different number who John then said he has no signal and hung up even though messages were being delivered at same time. I was then ignored again for weeks. Then told doors would come February as they needed one final item to be completed, then a month later they would be delivered as waiting 3 final items. Then on day of delivery in March they would be another month but I could have a refund as the doors hadn’t been cut yet.
The owner John is rude and dishonest.
Please do not waste your time and money on this company. The office number is sometimes off the hook for days. I have mainly only been able to get through to their mobiles by calling on private number.
I understand completely that there are currently delays in this industry but there is no excuse for the lies or the stress they cause to others or the dishonesty about delays when products are ordered.
There are many people in the same situation. They still accept orders and deny any delays until the day your doors are meant to come.
Reviews on google seem to be deleted which give false representation of the company. Same with comments on there Instagram page. from the comments people have been waiting for doors since may last year and have still not received. Yet when I ordered mine in November he denied any known delays.
I have finally received a refund today but have completely wasted 5 months of my time and would not like others to do the same.

Ordered a window few months ago and never been delivered. Every time they give excuses. It’s a scam.

Don’t trust this company - they will take your money and keep your items. Dreadful service and hopefully nobody else has to go through the same.

Awful company, hides behind fake company names. Has another company and nothing but negative reviews on there. Takes peoples money but doesnt deliver the goods. Taking this rat to court for my money back
