Deceivingly friendly for the 1st few words, it's downhill from then onwards. What a nightmare of 2 years we had with BES, now Ruby Energy. Believe every negative word about them. Harassment via phone, messages, emails. Set appointments for meter replacement - no one turns up. Happened several times too. Meter readings given - they never had records of them. Anyone from BES ever called you back unless it was in their interest? A true JOKE. Unprofessional, uncaring and if you had the misfortune of "meeting" BES, then you know I'm being kind.

Wish I could give them a big fat zero !!!
Back in January ,I was told our meter is faulty ,and it was sending out incorrect bills
I was then told ,to cancel my direct debit until it is resolved , and pay our regular bill price which Ive been doing .
I,m being rang twice a day from credit control , and the team that want me to set up a new direct debit .
Considering the fact ,they still havent paid me the £400 ,they were due me back in May 24 ,Im obviously not going to pay them £400+ extra a month until the meter gets sorted out !!
The estimated bills are over £1200 a month
They are charging us £100 a month dunning charge plus a higher rate for not having a direct debit !!!!
We know we would never get the extra money back,as they have shown this from the very beginning .
Our bills for a tiny pub ,is £850 a month !! For lights and the aircon , everything else in our pub is calor gas as we are rural .
Basil on complaints is lovely and has done his best .
We have now had an independent person look at our bills ,and their words were ,Ruby and the broker ( master energy) have scammed you .
You shouldnt be paying anymore than 24p kw you are paying 39p per kw
On all your three tariffs .day,night,weekend you are paying 15p per kw more than you should be paying .
No wonder our bills are so high for a tiny rural pub.
Ruby suggested contacting the ombudsman to complain ,but they know the Ombudsman ALWAYS favours the energy supplier .
No wonder the owner of BES ( Ruby ) is in prison for fraud .
Ruby say they are not BES anymore but strangely the bills all have BES at the beginning !!
Same fraudulent activity just hiding behind a new name .
