Excellent ride service and comfort. Very wuiet train. Food from bar was very good and fresh. It was a lovely train ride from Moscow to St Petersburg. Absolutely loved it!! Will surely do it again :)(

Very good overall experience. Great staff. Punctuality.
The only thing was that the departure train station in Moscow mentioned on the ticket was misleading since written only in Cyrillic.

First, time management for both SAPSAN and Allegro was impecable. Booking in was simple and efficient and the service crew were great. We greatly enjoyed the experience and have already recommended Russian Railways to our friends. Well done.

Good services in terms of time, punctuality, etc. However, the toilettes were, in general, dirties and stinking. Furthermore, the immigration procedures were a bit long and exhausting.

When travelling in Russia I booked a train ticket from St.Petersburg to Moscow. I booked in advance and was fully satisfied with the service. I travelled on Sapsan train. The one thing which is worth to pay attention to is what services are included in your ticket, for example, some of classes include meal and others not.

Decided to book a trip from Beijing to Ulaanbaatar with them and can only say good things. All my emails were promptly answered, I had to change the ticket delivery location and they had no issue with that.
Additionally, their price was the best among the competition.

here is my experience with them:

I bout 4 tickets on Russianrailways.com (train 030й) premium train (Second class with AC and Service) from Krasnodar to Moscow. I entered my card bank details, they got the money and sent me the reservation number.

around half an hour later they sent me email suggesting an earlier train (104 ж ) that will cost me less money ( around 80$ less according to my phone call with them) with same level of quality and services. I agreed with the lady who answered me, and she told me that they will refund me to my card, and issue the tickets.

another half hour they send me email that the refund will not happen ( because the BOSS refused to refund me) and that they already issued the tickets on the 104ж train.

later I found that the tickets price in the main website of Russian railways is much less than russianrailways.com, and they offer up to 60% discount for kids less than 10 years old.

my experience says:

1- I almost lost more than 100$ by dealing with russianrailways.com website

2- they lied to me when they said that they will refund me

3- they lied to me when they said that the two trains are the same quality ( the 104ж is less than 030й)

4- you will get the best and honest prices in the railway station

5- never use your bankcard in Russia unless it is a governmental company and website
