Update of my experience with sax.co.uk
So within an hour of my previous review stating my disappointment, I had a telephone call from sax.co.uk to explain that the order hadn't been in stock at the time I ordered, but, unfortunately this hadn't been communicated to me. The result was that I was told my order was now in stock and they were sending out to me, by courier, to arrive the following day, which I am pleased to confirm that it did. Not only that but sax.co.uk sent me some reeds to try out as a form of compensation. I have to say, the guys at sax.co.uk turned a disappointing experience around very quickly and I am impressed by that. Result: I will definitely order again. Thank you.

I have purchased many items from Sax UK over the years including a Soprano Saxophone, mouthpieces for my 4 saxophones other accessories and music play along books. I have spent hours in the practise rooms before making my final selections and have enjoyed my conversations with extremely helpful, knowledgeable and accomodating staff. I have nothing but the highest praise and regard for Sax Uk, from the attractive and inviting environment, the large range of instruments and other accessories and from the attentive staff.

My advice is to check they have stock before ordering with this firm.

Have just received my new Midnight…
Have just received my new Midnight Black Alto Sax. Although on back order and so had to wait some weeks it has arrived and I'm very pleased with it.
Tried it out yesterday and it works perfectly. I look forward to beginning to play and practice regularly. Lovely looking instrument, a little heavier than I imagined but the finish and workmanship look very good. The tone is full, deep and resonant. Seems responsive and easy to play, that is, I already get some good notes out in that distinctly cool way. Service and e-mail enquiries are first class with help and responses. Very positive. Plenty of info and demos on the website.
