We have used Sceptre many times to travel to Ireland. They are by far the most competitively priced and their accommodations are usually very reflective of their rating. We have recommended them to many people and will continue to use them in the future.

I was a little leary about booking a trip online because I have never done so before. However, our trip to Ireland was fantastic! The places we stayed were very nice, clean, and had friendly staff. The itinerary was perfect for us and for the amount of time we spent in the country. We rented a car and that went well also. The only thing I would mention is that Sceptre should mention in their initial information the importance of having some kind of GPS or map capabilities on your phone for getting around Ireland. That is a necessity! I would definitely book another vacation with Sceptre.

My experience with Sceptre Tours was exceptional. Carmen Venusa helped me with millions of questions about itinerary, logistics, budget, everything. Her knowledge, efficiency, and prompt responses - always - were invaluable as I planned a family dream trip to Ireland. We had an amazing time and again, thanks to her and Sceptre, everything went off without a hitch - just an incredible trip and will use Sceptre again, I have no doubt!

Rental car company held us up an hour, then brought us to the wrong terminal, we missed our flight and had to buy a new flight out of pocket and then rental car company lied about when they dropped us off.

My husband and I felt we received an excellent value for our vacation, and the hotels chosen by Sceptre were first class and comparable to the quality of a Hilton, and they were well placed to give us a good overview to tour Ireland, the only thing was that they were not centrally located which may have been a little disappointing if we had not checked to see where they were, and we did have a car so it was not quite as critical. Most of the hotels served us a full breakfast daily which increased the value even further. Although travel documents are sent only a few weeks beforehand (check your spam folder!), they came in plenty of time to go over everything and there was no trouble during our trip. We received great service from Sceptre and from each of the providers included on our tour and would strongly consider Sceptre the next time we travel to Europe.

Carmen did a fantastic job setting up our vacation. She was patient through the process of getting started and deciding what we wanted and during our vacation, she had everything set up. The rental car showed up when it was supposed to, the hotels were ready for us, the train was close to our hotel. Everything went almost seemlessly. The only trouble we encountered was our inexperience traveling abroad and Carmen's tips and information helped get us through those hiccups. It was clear she chose each hotel with care. We were extremely comfortable in all but one of them and that one was still perfectly located where we needed it and was still acceptable. I would recommend Carmen and Sceptre to anyone looking to invest in quality memories and meaningful vacations.

While our trip started out a bit stressful--finding out at the very last hour our flight was moved up by four hours and we had not received any notification from anyone--Sceptre or the airlines--we literally threw things in a suitcase and made a mad dash for the airport. That aside, we had the most wonderful time in Ireland. The accommodations were all top notch and in two hotels we received complimentary upgrades that were spectacular. We opted to have a private driver for our tour and after seeing the roads in Ireland, it was a very good decision. Our driver was very knowledgeable, had a great sense of humor, and repeatedly went out of his way to show us things, off the beaten path, that perhaps the guide books might not mention. He also gave great pub recommendations in every village we would stop for lunch. So we are raving fans and are already looking at booking another trip--with a driver.

I'm a three-time traveler with Sceptre and I've never had a minute of concern about the places and packages I've chosen. I will continue to recommend and continue to book through Sceptre. They are professional, considerate, transparent, and a wonderful value. Thank you Sceptre!!

We used a Sceptre package 2 times in the past in Ireland, where the pricing was great, the b & bs did not have to be pre-booked, and we did not get a hard-sell to upgrade our car. This time we had to pre-book, 1 month in advance of the trip, which meant we had to have a set itinerary, which we did not want to have. This was not made clear in the booking information. So several months after we had bought the air,car and b&b package, we learned that we had to pre-book; This information was poorly communicated and untimely. When we tried to pre- book b&bs, Sceptre essentially had a bait and switch: they had very few if any b&b offerings at the our price point, BUT we could pay more per day to get a higher grade b&b, that was available and had more offerings. There is something misleading about offering a b&b package, that has to be booked 30 days in advance, and this information is not conveyed to the purchaser.

The packaged trip was pretty much as promised. We had a slight hitch at the Blue Lagoon. Our package listed us as standard plus, the Blue Lagoon said we had a standard entrance. The difference was 4 towels, which I had to purchase. The hotel was okay and fairly well located. If I had booked the trip myself, I would have upgraded the hotel and arrived in Iceland at a time where I could go directly to the hotel rather than early morning. All in all, I was satisfied with
Sceptre. I seldom book packages. Iceland was the exception. I doubt I will book another packaged trip. I like to choose my own hotels and excursions.

We've used Sceptre in the past and the experience this time was just as good. Great attention to detail at all stages and the usual high standard across the board. Highly recommended as always.

We arrived on time but the wait for a gate meant we missed our Blue Lagoon appointment. The transfer service would not convert he transfer from the Blue Lagoon to the hotel and charged us an additional 30.00 per person to transfer us. They refused to refund the original transfer...... the next day, our docs said we were to be picked up for a 9:00 am tour and to be waiting outside 1/2 hour before. We done warm clothing and exited the hotel at 8:30 to stand in sub zero weather. At 5 of 9, I asked the hotel to call to see where they were to be told they arrived early and the driver does not wait so he left without us. The hotel argued with them for us and they agreed to wait at the bus terminate if we took a taxi there. Again, extra cost without anyone caring and the young girls at the desk ignored our request for taxi reimbursement or to speak with a manager. Needless to say, we booked our other tours with a different company for the rest of

Don't be fooled by the good price! The Scepture representative "Carmen" misspelled my name which thru everything into chaos! Our flights we were told to book independently to assure seating together took our money (Virgin)
$100.00 and failed to assign our seats because of the misspelled name even though I contacted Scepture to fix the problem. Our hotel was under management change and our week was on the floor they were gutting with no heat. They moved us unexpectedly on the 5th day when we were on a tour. They gave us 10 minutes to pack our bags! Our tour trips with Evan Evans is in a bus with NO BATHROOMS and 2 of the trips were in excess of 12 hrs. People were peeing in their seats because the driver and tour guide shamed you into having to stop! We felt herded like cattle and treated the same! The drivers of the couches and the tour guides complained non stop about the traffic and their employers, Evan Evans, for those who understood English. They evan counted how their risk of demeaning their employer was. E.g.: 56 percent don't speak English or are in the back so it's okay to talk smack about Evan Evans. And to think we paid 4 years saving for this! This is probably just a format to ere your grievances but I happen to know some very important people and they will spread the word for us. Try the company Pret A Manger. Our VERY good friends.

Working with the destination specialist at Sceptre Tours was a dream.

Ground transportation upon arrival and departure was effortless with friendly drivers and comfortable vehicles.

The highlight of our experience was the amazing railway tour cross country to the Cliffs of Moher. An absolute pleasure and wonderful experience for all to see.

We also enjoyed the dinner and storytelling at the Brazen Head pub. Enchanting evening indeed!

i have used scepter tours several times. -great group only exception was north star hotel too far to park and drag suitcases ,room had a crack in wall,air not working well

This is my third vacation with Sceptre Tours and on the whole we have been very pleased. I am very familiar with Europe (grew up over there as a child) so I generally just use the company for booking my airline/ship transportation along with hotel and car rental reservations. I plan and mange my own itinerary once we reach our vacation spot. Sceptre has always provided me with courteous booking service, affordable prices and hotel accomodations that have been most acceptable.

The people, the scenery, the cows, the music, the views, the Wild West, ALL made for an exceptional vacation. I know why they (Irish) left (Great Famine) but why the heck didn't they go back? Beautiful country and great friendly people, we would move there. Good food, good beer, great car, great accommodations.Wish we could have stayed longer but we shall return. Highly recommend it and Scepter is TOPS. GO to IRELAND!! My new favorite color is green!

This is the second time we have used Sceptre to plan our trip to Ireland. Both times they did an excellent job. They booked our flights, train tickets, rental car, hotels, and B&B vouchers. All were excellent.
